Outstanding customer service all the way to my doorstep! Rarely do I write reviews but I can't say enough about the staff at Appliance Factory in Boulder. Twice they've helped me track down non-standard sized appliances to fit the curious dimensions of my apartment. A process which, before finding them, had me pulling my hair out. Richard, the store manager, began his career as a repairman with them and has been there ever since. His product knowledge is impeccable! He immediately knew what I was looking for and was able to find a Whirlpool refrigerator which wasn't even listed in their inventory - it had been part of a bulk order for an apartment complex which was never completed. I've also used them (well, sister companies) to order parts and for repair/servicing. Everyone I've dealt with from phone rep., to servicing, to delivery/installation has been amazing. Over the years I've seen plenty of careless movers - not these guys! Not to mention, they also offer killer deals on "damaged" new appliances. 5 years ago, they knocked several hundred dollars off the Washer/Dryer I was looking for because it had a small dent (in the side, which isn't even visible). For the record, I'm honestly shocked to see so many negative reviews on Yelp. They're 4.5 stars on Google. Have to agree with Lynn H - this is completely inconsistent with any of my experiences - past or present. All around, one of the best companies I've ever dealt with. I could not disagree more with the reviews here. These are our third, fourth and fifth items purchased in the past year at this store and each experience has been great. We purchased a Washer/Dryer about 10 months ago. They gave me options on everything from discounts on-going (and upcoming) to install schedule delivery. Appliance were quickly delivered and installed and function great. We then returned to buy a new Dishwasher. We worked with Jacob. Without us even having to ask he did a price match (that I verified on my phone) and saved us $100. During this process we decided to purchase a new stove and refrigerator. Once again, all the "leg-work" was done for us. Having previously bought from Mountain High Appliance (never again), Best Buy, and Sears, I was surprised to see someone who worked hard for us to get a good deal, as opposed to the "you're inconveniencing me" attitude we received at the other stores. (Sorry to inconvenience you I was trying to give you my money!) Not everything went as planned. I made a mistake in measuring for the stove and we needed a bit of counter work done. Instead of treating us like "they had our money and we could figure it out, too bad", Jacob arranged the right resource to get our installation completed same day as promised. We had our stove fail the day before Thanksgiving and couldn't find any place to "grab and go" with a new one...except for the Applicance Factory & Mattress Kingdom in Boulder (we checked: Home Depot, Lowes, High Tech (a floor model was available) & Costco). Sharif cared about our situation and found something that fit our requirements and that we could pick up at the warehouse that day. We ended up with a great stove and matching dishwasher (a bit sooner than planned) and celebrated with gratitude Thanksgiving day. The turkey came out beautifully! The next week, our rental property washer died and I am very happy with the new appliances Sharif helped us decided upon. I have also bought other appliances in the Longmont store (some were used) and had great response when something went wrong. read more

While the showroom is pretty bare bones and not a showy showroom like other appliance stores I would recommend Contract Appliance based on their incredible customer service. I purchased a fridge, range and dishwasher from Steve Shaw. Not only did he store my appliances for free at their warehouse while my project was delayed, but he also worked directly with the manufacturer to sort out a rebate issue and then hand delivered a trim piece which needed special ordering. We bought a refrigerator at the Appliance Factory in Westminster a year or so ago. Then we needed a stove. I couldn't remember where the place was. I searched -- Google Maps -- and was super pleased to find that a branch had opened up in Boulder. They really know their stuff and had a great deal for us. We did then go to a couple other places, but didn't find anything better. They arranged for the necessary gas line to be installed, delivered it just a couple days later. It's working great. The manager (David Miller) was an outstanding source of valuable information in comparing washing machine details between brands and types of units. Very low-key sales approach with informative answers to my very specific questions. If you have a problem your only recourse is to talk to computor chat. Since they are Chinese they use a translator for English. There is no way to get immediate help. No phone, no e-mail. Never again will I do business with this company. I'm out $65.00 and stuck with a product that has not worked since the day I took it out of the box. read more

Totally loved this place. I had been searching for mattresses for two weeks and this, by far, was the best place. Andy--sales guy--went out of his way to get me a great value on my mattress and Kim was very helpful in delivering it to my house.
