He recommended me to use lighter to ignite the fire because it might be too expensive to fix. But I wanted to fix anyway. He opened the top of gas range and tried to save parts if possibe . I have a 10 year old gas cooktop that I accidentally spilled a pan of water on. The igniter on one of the burners kept clicking, even with it turned off. I've spilled water on the cooktop before and was always able to relight the burners. Never before have I had an igniter that kept clicking, even when turned off. After reading good reviews for Appliance Repair Solutions, I gave Steve a call. He said it could possibly be fixed without him coming out. He told me to turn off the breaker for the cooktop for 24 hours to let it dry out. He explained some technical details as to why that would work. To my surprise, it worked! I called several people, this gentleman was the only one who responded IMMEDIATELY. And as busy as he was, he was willing to squeeze me in. True to his word, even though I wasn't expecting it, he did in fact show up on the day he told me he would squeeze me in on. He proceeded to quickly diagnose the problem as well as give the entire refrigerator a health check. We then agreed that I would go cash a check while he went and got the part. When I returned he was already inside my unit working on my refrigerator and wrapping up the repair. When he presented me with the bill, it was much less than I had been quoted by other companies. After I paid him, he proceeded to inform me how long it would take for my refrigerator to cool and freeze, which was very helpful. I cannot say enough about his professionalism, integrity, honesty, and work ethics. I would more than highly recommend that anyone needing repairs call this company first! Steve is awesome and really got me out of a bind. He was friendly and extremely reasonable. My water heater broke, however under warranty so the part was no charge to us. I had a Dual fuel range that went out over the weekend. I requested a quote from the yelp site and received a phone call from Steve within a half hour. I've found my new appliance repair person. Steve arrived within his 2 hour time frame. He'd pretty much diagnosed the problem over the phone which he confirmed when he check out my washing machine. He had the part with him and had my 20 year old washer working like new. When I talked to Steve on the phone I asked him if it would be better to repair the machine or buy a new one. He assured me that my 20 year old washer is better made than a lot of the new machines on the market. The repair took 15 minutes and the price was what he'd quoted me on the phone.
