The staff was friendly and efficient. We were looking for a place to eat that would allow our two dogs. The back patio at Apponaug Brewery was perfect! We ordered sliders, fried pickles and loaded fries. The food was delicious although the pickles were a bit too salty for my taste. Prices were reasonable especially for the beer. We have only sat in the outdoor area, but it is a really cute, chill little spot with a nice river view. The food was amazing - the fried pickles with house ranch are a 10/10, no exaggeration. For a couple that frequents this restaurant on a regular basis I would have to say by far this was the worst experience ever from sitting at the bar and not being greeted other than the bartender throwing the coasters at us and not apologizing nor asking what we were drinking .. we almost walked out which now that I think about it we should have because it got worse! I would understand if it was busy but definitely not! I am not that type of person to complain but I left here extremely upset. Family-friendly and scenic! We've been here a few times and really enjoyed ourselves. The beer selection is limited but good. We haven't had anything we didn't like yet. Beers can be on the pricier side though. Mine today was $7.50. The food is okay. I didn't care for one of the spices on the sliders. The wings are solid but salty. The scene is great. The place is come-as-you-are and we-don't-judge. There are lots of families there on a Saturday afternoon with kids. The indoor space has a ton of windows so you are still able to enjoy the scenery. The outdoor space has games, tables, and Adirondack chairs overlooking the river. It's very relaxing to sit outside and kick back with a beer. Super cute location, right on the water (this place used to be an old mill). We were able to see geese and relax by the water, nice nature affect ! Lol . This is a lovely new spot right across from the Warwick mall in the same general area as the NYLO hotel. They are completely transforming these old waterfront mills into a live/work/play area and I am completely digging it. The area around the brewery is under construction but I can already tell, that this place is going to be the place to be once it is all finished. I think they did an incredible job designing this space. It has the energy and vibe of a true brewery but what I am amazed at the most is it is a full restaurant as well. I didn't think a full service restaurant could still feel 100% like a brewery. Its generally one or the other and this place nailed both. I got a bloody mary (served on weekends) with a beer chaser. What a genious thing and man was it delicious. We also got an order of the wings and they were crispy and flavorful. They are not saucy wings like most are accustomed too so if your not into dry rubs then these may not be for you. I do wish they had options as I am a huge buffalo wing fan and would love to see some other flavors/options. I wanted to give it 5stars but I had a bit of an awkward situation happen while sitting at the bar. When we arrived, we grabbed the one and only stool at the bar that was available, all the way down at the end. My partner stood the entire time as we were just dropping in for a beer and a bite no big deal. However, about 20 min into our visit, a regular of their showed up and then somehow, someway I was in her designated spot, she mentioned it and then the bartender schooled me on it and it just got a bit akward and uncomfortable and I didn't know whether I was being asked to give up my seat for her or what the point of all that was but.... It was just a bit awkward and I don't think neccisary. My money is just as good as hers and let me enjoy my first experience with you all instead of making me feel like I was in the way or not welcomed. It got even more awkward when like 3 staff members ran around and grabbed her a random bar stool at one of the tables and shoved it in, next to my partner who was standing the whole time. There wasn't room for a stool there as we felt it would be in the way of people walking by and the service counter at the end. What about grabbing one for my partner who had been standing there the entire time? Nobody asked or cared about him? Again, we were comfortable with that one spot at the end until we were made to feel like we did something wrong. We would have gladly moved our food, beers and butts down the way to any seats that opened up together to make way for her but nothing opened up and when they did, nobody thought to hold them for us.... Will def be back as I loved everything about this place, but hopefully next time we are made to feel a bit more welcomed. read more

The atmosphere is really nice. I can't wait until the outside area alongside the river is open. It will be a great place to have a beer. The food menu is short, which I like. The fish tacos were fantastic and well priced. You can't go wrong. I was a bit underwhelmed regarding the taste of the beers offered. I may be crazy, but I've never been to a good Brewery that also offers a food menu. I love IPA's and stouts. There was one good IPA. It was solid, but not great. Great staff - super attentive and friendly and knew about their beers. The beer wasn't anything revolutionary but loved the IPAs and the pale ale. Didn't disappoint at all! This place was well thought out and executed just right. A really chill enviroment with the brewing tanks right in view and open. Their taps come from their brewing tanks. The food was excellent. Easily could be just snacks or a full meal. The beer is brewed well with a solid flavor. My husband tried 3 different types and all were rated 3.75 or above out of 5 stars. Friendly staff also and a co-owner was there helping the staff and interacting with people. Can't wait to go in the summer and enjoy the patio. Prefect hit for locals and beer travelers. read more

There are a lot of new breweries opening up all over Rhode Island and I am an avid craft beer drinker so I tend to explore them all. I haven't been this blown away with a place in a long time. I got a flight of 6 beers to try out a diverse selection of what they offered and I wasn't disappointed with any of them, the Double IPA in particular was outstanding. The food was all so good, and moderately priced. The building is beautiful, and we got to sit right on top of the river going by. I will be coming back frequently, great job guys read more

With dueling beavers in their logo and menu offerings laced with dipping sauces served on community tables there's a comfy ness that is natural to the vibe. This is a great new spot that I know will do well. Not many breweries in the area offer food in-house, but is such a huge plus when deciding on where to go out to eat and drink. Their menu is top notch - we've tried the bahn mi fries, the pulled pork fries, the burger sliders, and the Korean tacos, and I honestly can't choose a favorite because they are all so good. Their tap list is also great, and constantly rotating - if you try a favorite, better get a growler! This place is great! I've gone a few times pre-COVID and most recently last week. Each time we visited we've enjoyed ourselves. I was very impressed by the cleanliness of both the inside and outside dining areas. This time we opted to sit outside to enjoy the nice weather on a summer night. The beers we had were great. Each member of my party of 5 was able to find something they liked. We all agreed that we like how they rotate their beers so each time you come in you try different kinds. The Nashville Hot Chicken were our favorite! The flavors were amazing and the spicy kick came at the end. We also had the Baja Fish Tacos, White & Green flatbread and Poutine Fries. The apps were the perfect amount of food for us and all went wonderfully with our beers. For food, I would recommend the pulled pork sliders, the not-chos, or the chicken and waffles. For drink, they're all good so I really can't posit an opinion here. I would definitely recommend a flight if you can't decide which beer to order. Went in to have a drink for after work happy hour and they weren't very accommodating. Wanted to sit outside for a drink and they said it would be a 20 min wait for a table. We decided to go sit at the bar and there were two seats, or we thought, as the hostess says there were seats but a lady was holding a seat for someone with her pocketbook so we proceeded to order a beer and walk outside. The waitress asked if we were waiting for a table outside but we felt that they wanted us to leave. Well we felt slighted and not welcomed or asked if we wanted another beer. The staff is always friendly and informative. They have a decent variety of beer from IPAs to stouts/porters - there is typically a larger variety (probably less due to COVID). They're practicing precaution including screening customers, requiring masks, etc. The food was great as always! It is a bit pricey for the portion but overall I cannot complain. Love this place!
