This spot is SO cute! Truly brings me back to the cozy spots in SoHo NY. Very trendy and located in the heart of Wilton manors. We sat outside which are up for grabs before a certain hour. Menu had a nice selection of tapas, salads and flatbreads which really are big enough to share. We ordered the BBQ chicken flatbread, baked goat cheese with chibatta bread, and jalapeño corn muffins. Every single dish was INCREDIBLE! I can't explain how especially delicious the corn muffins were. Chefs kiss we ended our date with the ooey gooey blueberry bread pudding which was worth every calorie. Service was good. We did have to wait a bit for drinks but totally saw how busy it was and our server was super swamped. Honestly worth the wait. We just people watched as we waited. We absolutely loved our meal here. Went with our friend Bob for dinner and we got a nice table outside. The waiter came quickly to take our drink order. We all got glasses of wine. I loved my Canyon Road Sauvignon Blanc...perfectly cold, smooth and crisp with nice citrus notes.... For food we got the following: - Chicken Quesadillas - lightly fried quesadilla wrap with tasty chicken filling inside. - Steak bruschetta - we asked for no blue cheese, so the dish came a bit dry, but the steak tasted very good. - Charcuterie plate - Delicious mix of cheeses and meats with a nice crusty bread to go with. A side of honey was given. It gave the entire dish a nice sweet note. - Bread pudding - It was warm, sweet and tasty. One excellent dessert. One of the owners came by towards the end, asking how everything was and we said, everything was really good. She was very friendly and engaging. I do not recommend this place. I have two medical service dogs. They escorted us out and the only option they gave me was to sit outdoors while it was raining. I even showed the service credentials and they didn't care. So this guy walks up to me and says he's an attorney and I have no right to bring even a service dog to the establishment. I did tell him that I am an attorney and the place has no right to refuse service dogs since they are not pets. Very disappointed at the establishment. Do not go to this place. What if I were blind? Shame on them for refusing medical service dogs after showing them their credentials. read more

Had brunch here. The food sounded good, but was executed poorly. Specifically, the mini beef Wellington dish was overcooked and could have been at any mediocre buffet at a corporate event. In retrospect, I don't understand why they make them small as it would be magical to manage to have it come out other than overcooked at that small size. I've eaten here before for a light pre-theater dinner. Bottom line is if you view this is as a charming bar with hors d'ouerves or snacks you'll be happy. This is a great Spot. Made it there for the first time and my wife and I really enjoyed the food, the atmosphere and the staff. I'm pretty sure it was the owner who was helping us. Really enjoyed the conversation we had and we were happy we decided to come here. Everything was great. This place is so cute and so inviting. The interior is small so we had to sit outside which was fine. We enjoyed our brunch here. All the food was delicious but portions were small so my boyfriend left hungry. I wish they had a few larger plate options but I enjoyed the tapas style bunch very much as we were able to share each others' plates. Would love to come back for dinner or drinks again soon. In addition to their regular happy hour, they offer half off select bottles of wine on Wednesday. The bites were very tasty! We ordered the garlic shrimp, avocado flatbread, jalapeño corn muffins, and Turkey meatballs. Everything was delicious! The meatballs were the only thing I probably wouldn't get again. We both really loved this small and cozy place. Located in Wilton Manors, and woman-owned, EVERYONE will feel welcome here. And what the talented chef (also a woman) is able to successfully accomplish in an open kitchen the size of a postage stamp is truly amazing. We came for happy hour so certain drinks were on special, but the limited menu is reasonably priced to begin with. It's self described as a "drinking den" and their full bar and creative cocktails should appeal to any adventurer. We sat at the bar and got an educational view of all the concoctions. There is seating at the bar and some inside tables along the opposite wall. In addition, there are some umbrellaed tables directly outside. Street parking is the closest, if you can find it. We started by sharing their tasty baked Turkey meatballs. There were 5 to the order. They were topped with a green sauce (pesto?) and had nuts inside (pine?). A piece of ciabatta bread came with them. Following that, we shared their rib-eye steak bruschetta. Two pieces of toasted ciabatta bread --each spread with a blue cheese cream cheese -- were topped with mixed greens, tomatoes, cukes, and ample pieces of tender sliced steak. This was yummy. And surprisingly, just those two items were a perfect dinner for us. Their menu is a mix of small plates ("bites") -- about 10/11 different ones -- plus their "build your own" boards with various meats and cheeses, etc. They even have a couple dessert choices. I could easily see spending a couple hours here with friends -- chatting, sipping drinks, and sampling their menu offerings. We have been coming here for years and it's still as good as my first 5 star review. The lady's who own this place ensure the best service and make everyone feel like they are family. Martini Mondays are fun, but my favorite is half price wine Wednesday. It's a great deal and the tapas are still delicious. There is usually a food special each night so just ask. I have never had a dish here that I did not love. The bacon feta flatbread is a special favorite for me. Whatever you like, this is not a place that disappoints. My friends and I have been to Apt 9f a few times in the past few weeks. Apt 9f has a unique, refreshing vibe; a nice change of pace to other restaurants / bars on Wilton "The Drive." Prior to moving here a few years ago, I would be in NYC multiple times a week and this really reminds me of the small, family operated storefront places in Manhattan and Brooklyn with warm, inviting interiors and sought-after al fresco sidewalk dining and drinking. One of the owners stopped by our curbside table a few times to chat and help out. The staff is accommodating and provided excellent service. We ended up drinking at least 3 bottles of surprisingly good and reasonably priced "house" Italian wine, Santa Marina Pinot Grigio. The slew of craft cocktails change with the season, with the preserves, syrups and bitters made in-house. The small plates are quality dishes. We all had our own favorites. The charcuterie is build-your-own which we liked. I loved the Steak Bruschetta that had rib-eye atop Danish Bleu cream cheese toasted ciabatta. A bit difficult to cut and share but we managed. My friends loved the spicy Shrimp Pil-Pil in olive oil, paprika and red pepper flakes. The Pork Belly Tacos were tasty. The Bacon, Goat Cheese & Caramelized Onion Flatbread was excellent! What a fun place. The owners are from NYC and that was their apt number in NY! I loved it. so had a nice conversation with Nancy (one of the owners). swe talked about NY and how we missed a lot in FL of NY Things- but at least here it felt like NY! My friend and I sat outside and we ordered chardonnay and rose wines. We then split a charcuterie board of cheeses (manchego, brie and gouda), red pepperderos and prosciutto with toasted ciabatta. It was delicious. So we had a nice relaxing time. I would say the website needs a little more information (I would be nice to see the menu ahead). Once again Carol Moran has given me a delightful lounge and light dining surprise. This time she miraculously managed to transport the cozy hominess of her Manhattan apartment, Apt. 9f, to The Drive in the former location of Naked Grape. With comfortable in home type furniture surrounding low lounge tables and a burnt yellow colored wall loaded with framed pictures you really do feel like you're in someone's home apartment but with a nice fully stocked bar, signature drinks and menus. Having known Carol to be a self-proclaimed wine snob from her days at Thirteen Restaurant and Bar I was sure I'd find a uniquely superior wine list, and on that count I couldn't have been more delighted with the selections I found. I started with an Italian Costello Banfi Cal Di Sasso Baby Super Tuscan. Being a blend of Sangiovese and a Cabernet Sauvignon I thought it be a little wishy washy, but no. To the contrary it was firm in Italian structure with a near perfect nose and balance. I also tried several other reds from the menu selection of 9 which also proved to be exceptionally good though I would tend to favor the Baby Super Tuscan. Of the selection of the selection of 8 "Specialty Cocktails" offered I had the "Purple Rain" with "Death Door Gin" that really came out to be a true delight to the palate with its Maraschino Liqueur enhancement. And also the Bourbon Berry Lemonade which came loaded with fresh blackberries just slightly bruised for a more distinctive enhancement berry flavor. As far as food Apt.9f is more of a tapas, light foods or snack than it would be a restaurant or bistro, but with its small plates all served in good presentation, fresh and tasty. I had both the "Fresh Burrata & Prosciutto Plate" and the "Lobster Roll" which came stuffed with the sweet claw meat of cold water lobster. Though the roll didn't seem to have the distinctive texture or taste of a traditional New England roll, it was overall delicious. read more

Carol and her staff made my daughter and family's birthday experience so enjoyable!! From the homemade jalapeño corn muffins to the grilled shrimp salad (dressings are homemade) everything was delicious. I always enjoy my visits to 9F, which is modeled after the owner's apartment in New York. They have a full bar with a tasty selection of specialty cocktails. I tried the Zest for Life and Lime in the Coconut, which tasted like a melted pina colada. Both were delicious. For food, they have a nice selection of small plates and a create your own charcuterie board. They have cozy seating, as well as bar and outdoor tables available. It often gets pretty crowded and you literally like you are at a party in someone's apartment. The owner treats everyone like family, and the staff is friendly and fun.
