    Linguini and clams

Just re opened for the season. I can imagine during the summer this place is jamming! Friendly service sitting at the bar and I enjoyed my cucumber margarita. I really liked my linguine and clams. Generous serving on great clams.

Enjoyed the seafood here. Had the whole belly clams which were fresh and lightly breaded but so crispy. The calamari and coconut shrimp appetizers were great for sharing. Relaxing outdoor picnic benches by the water. Service was quick.

My family and I stopped by Aqua for Mother's Day and had a great dining experience here! We didn't have a reservation and stopped by around 6, so it took around an hour to get us seated (honestly pretty speedy all things considered), and then we ordered some drinks and appetizers. Drinks were great, the Stellar Rose was delicious (I love passion fruit!) and appetizers came super quick even on the busy day. We were seated on the deck with a gorgeous view of the water, which was amazing. The main courses took a bit longer (the waitstaff let us know that with the Mother's Day rush it would take a second), but once it came it was BEYOND delicious. I got the Salmon Salad, a special, and I hope one day this dish makes it to the permanent menu because it was DELICIOUS. I loved it! Arugula, walnuts, cranberries, goat cheese, a honey citrus vinaigrette, and some nicely cooked salmon! Definitely a great dining experience, even on a busy day like Mother's Day!

Hubby and I were out looking for a seafood restaurant with a view for lunch. This is a great seaside restaurant in a boat dock with plenty of parking and great views. Upon walking in it was pretty busy from lunch we had to wait about 10 minutes which in that area is not bad at all. We started out our lunch with Clams Casino appetizer. They were fresh and absolutely delicious. Also got a lobster bisque which is one of the best ones I've had and I've had a lot! There were chunks of lobster very creamy not too salty quite delicious. For lunch, my husband got clam strips and I got a lobster roll. The clam strips were very fresh and not overcooked or rubbery. The breading was very light and tasty. The lobster roll was full of fresh tender sweet lobster meat, my only wish was that they added a little more butter. There was very little of it, and there was none on the side. Had a great view of the boat dock with the tiki bar, floating in and out. Great restaurant would definitely come back. Go visit if you're looking for good seafood!

We had an interesting experience. The Buffalo wings were very good; plenty of sauce and we could order flats only, which is our preference. The clams were very fresh and correctly shucked. The fried pickles were over breaded and had no pickle flavor. Nope to them. We had a table in the bar overlooking Clinton harbor. A success there. Service was not good though. Never came back to the table to see if we wanted another drink. It was not crowded so no excuse for disinterested service. We may be back for the view and clams but not sure. Only an average time with a chance for better with a few improvements.

This place was amazing! We went on a Friday evening so it was really busy but the wait wasn't too long and the staff was so friendly. The food was amazing and the view was even better!

We started our weekend getaway with lunch here on a Sunday afternoon. We didn't have a reservation but we still got a table by the window with beautiful views of the water and incoming boats. Service was prompt and friendly. We started with the New England chowder and we both had the Connecticut lobster roll (hot). A ton of perfectly cooked lobster was served in tasty toasty roll with butter. Will definitely go back!

Absolutely the best lunch ever. Our server was amazing. She was attentive and helpful. She knew the menu, she always had a smile. Food was fresh and quick! Highly recommend!!!!

Great tacos! Greater staff and service!

After a short shopping experience in the Clinton Outlets, we decided on seafood. We landed at Rockys. Great seaside restaurant with excellent food and service.... What more can you ask for on a warm July day. Great vibes and we even heard a hip hop here! Nice OPP!!!

It's definitely a little more expensive than some of the other lobster spots we tried, but I honestly liked the food here the most. The lobster meat is lightly seasoned with what tasted like butter and lemon, and it all worked perfectly together without overpowering the lobster. The bun was incredibly soft and loaded with so much meat that it was practically falling apart in the middle. We got the half-pound lobster roll both times and would absolutely order it again, but it is $60. The clam chowder was also excellent. It's creamy without being too thick, and you can really taste all the ingredients. The hot dogs seem to be really popular -- almost everyone was ordering a lobster roll and a hot dog combo. My son loved them so much he had two the first visit! The outdoor seating and water views make it such a relaxing place to sit and eat, and there's also a market on-site where you can buy lobster and shellfish. Definitely one of our favorite stops and somewhere we'd happily return to.

It contained only a couple of small pieces of undesirable lobster meat and was honestly awful. The lobster roll was no better. It contained more undesirable pieces of lobster, was very dry, and I could barely taste any butter. The roll itself tasted dry and stale, which only made matters worse. The corn seemed either frozen or canned and was completely flavorless. The coleslaw was the one bright spot--it was fresh and actually quite good. Overall, the meal was overpriced for the quality received. Nothing about the food suggested care, attention to detail, or pride in the final product. Based on this experience, I would not return and would not recommend it to others.

We ordered two lobster rolls, a chicken sandwich, fried clam strips, fried shrimp, and lobster nachos. This wasn't cheap (I didn't see the total as someone else paid). The chicken sandwich was basic but no one's there for the chicken haha. The fries were crispy, the clams were fresh and the shrimp was deliciously jumbo and lightly battered. The lobster rolls were ok, they didn't have much flavor even with the butter, but we were served good sized chunks so that was nice. The lobster nachos were more impressive to look at than to eat because it was basically cold lobster, a corn salsa, and dry tortilla chips. There's nothing else served other than a spritz of lime so the dish is pretty dry on its own. I would probably come again because it's a pretty view and it's BYOB, maybe get the lobster rolls, but I'd definitely come back for the jumbo shrimp!

The service was quick, friendly, and attentive, and the restaurant had a casual atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor seating, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the food didn't quite live up to our expectations. The soft-shell crabs tasted good, but the portions were extremely disappointing. The crab itself was so small that it was dwarfed by the romaine lettuce and standard tomato slices on the sandwich. For a dish that's supposed to be the star of the meal, it felt underwhelming. We also ordered the whole belly clams. They were good, but not exceptional, especially considering the price. I personally prefer them a bit crispier, and the batter lacked that crunch. The portion size was average. Our bill for two soft-shell crab sandwiches, one order of fried whole belly clams, and two Diet Cokes came to about $80. I understand that dining out is expensive these days, but the value simply wasn't there for us--particularly when it came to the size of the soft-shell crabs. Overall, the service and atmosphere were positives, but based on the portion sizes and price, I'm not sure we'd return.

Located in Clinton Connecticut, this mainstay restaurant came highly recommended by many of my friends. I pulled in and parking was a breeze, even though it was busy. This parking lot was big. Lots of handicapped spaces also. My friend and I went in and we were greeted warmly, and promptly seated Knowing portions were big, but not realizing how big they would be we passed on appetizer. This is where it gets good! My friend ordered lasagna, and I ordered the eggplant Parmesan. We also ordered water, Immediately out came the salads that were included with the meals. These salads were medium sized, and we're probably good enough for just a lunch! Tomatoes, cucumbers, chopped lettuce, and a very nice house dressing, consisting of a creamy garlic, which was delicious. After salad was done our fantastic waitress brought us a big bowl of pasta and sauce. I could've made a meal out of this! This wasn't just any run of the mill, this was delicious pasta and sauce. Oversized entrées were next on the Bill and I ate probably 1/5 of the eggplant Parmesan. It was huge. I think three or four people could've split this. My friend ate probably about the same of the lasagna. For dessert, we split a Reesie's chocolate pie that was very, very sweet creamy, and hit the spot with the chocolate sauce and whip, whipped cream around the plate Bag probably weighed at least 7 pounds. We brought home the pasta, the lasagna, and the eggplant Parmesan. I loved the eggplant Parmesan. I make a pretty mean Parmesan, but this eggplant Parmesan was on point. It just exploded with great Italian flavors My friend liked the lasagna, as she said it was very, very nice I'm still raving about the big bowl of pasta that came with the meal. Dinner with the tip which included the two big meals which I think were 24.95 each along with the dessert and the big bowl of pasta was roughly $80 and change. This was a deal of deals. There will be meals during the coming week. If you're at the shore and you need takeout, this will be good for the week. I love this I am now a big fan and I look forward to returning in the spring when the weather gets nice All in all, I wonder what took me so long to come to The Log Cabin!
