Started with their complimentary salad. It was good size, with delicious dressing. The bread was plentiful with lots of butter. The bowl of pasta they gave you was delicious. I could have stopped eating. Then came the chicken Jennerfer. It was also very tasty. Topped off with lava cake. Service was very good.

Took my wife out for our anniversary. It was very busy but worth the wait. They brought over a whole loft of bread with our drinks. Than they gave us a big bowl of pasta. I thought they made a mistake but she said it comes with our entrées. Than a salad too the food was done to perfection. I definitely would come again. !!!

We stopped into this restaurant for a quick bite before the Cirque show. I figured we'd grab a few appetizers then scoot. First timers here so no clue what to expect. First off, nice log cabin restaurant with large open dining area and small bar. We opted for dining area as it was fairly open. The amazing aroma of marinara filled the room. Service was amazingly friendly. We placed our orders for cocktails, shrimp cocktail, stuffed mushrooms, and garlic bread. We figured some small apps would hold us over. Mind you, it's only my girlfriend and I. We were shocked to see the portion sizes walking by our table while waiting. Huge bowls of pasta and plates over flowing with food. Then I see my gf eyes pop out of her head as she realizes our apps are being served. We received food for at least 5 couples. Please take note when ordering that this is a family style restaurant. Huge portions for everything except maybe the complimentary bread. Drinks were very good so kudos to the bar as well. Long story short, everything was delicious and large doggy bags were required. They were able to serve all food and were made to our show on time due to prompt service. Lines were forming as we walked out establishment. We will return for another round and the knowledge to order accordingly. Ample private parking lot. Outside dining offered. My pictures show picked over apps not that you could tell.

Bring a cooler for your leftovers. First time here and might be my last. First off if you're looking for a quick dinner out this place is not for you. Apparently I missed the part where it says to allow extra time for them to prepare your meals. I wouldn't mind waiting if the food was great but it's sub par at best. The portions are enormous, maybe they should concentrate on smaller portions with better ingredients and flavors. Entrees are served with salad and if you don't get a pasta dinner you are served a dish of pasta that could feed a family of 10. I had the chicken Florentine 3 large chicken breasts aver what I could only imagine was 2 bags of spinach which they chop up, and is very over cooked. The sauce was not very flavorful even though they put pieces of lemon on top of the dish it really lacked that lemon flavor. My boyfriend had the chicken parm. He said it was very good. But honestly he never found a chicken parm he didn't like. Also ordered at our table was a prime rib and stuffed shells dinner. Didn't try these so I can't really give an opinion on those dishes. If you want to go to dinner and plan on not cooking for the next few days this is the place for you. Prices are a bit high but that's because they are giving you like 3 dinners for that price. Place was packed but which only made the service take even longer. Almost 2 hours for a meal that consisted of the salad and dinner. Oh and the pasta is served to you as its own separate course. Perhaps you should start the meals as soon as you send out the last that might make the wait better. Our server was wonderful and the rest of staff was very nice.

Cute, rustic log cabin setting. The portions are large and very tasty! I had the Lobster Ravioli Tuscano and my husband had chicken parmesan, we both really enjoyed our meals. A large bowl of pasta for the table was served as part of the chicken parmesan. There were leftovers for at least 3-4 lunch portions. The bill was a bit hefty, but you get a lot for your money. I ordered a carmel cake desert that was bland and pricy, would not recommend it. We will happily return for lunch or dinner but will pass on desert.

Never a disappointment & the service is spot on. The food is fresh and so delicious that you crave what's coming next. They load your plate that you get your bang for your buck. Food piled high that it's falling off your plate. There was so much more but these were the only pics to make it lol. To be noted we had fresh salads, stuffed mushrooms, broccoli rabe & sausage, penne with marinara. Come hungry if not you'll be leaving with tons of leftovers. Or come & enjoy this family style dinners & share with your love ones. The Log Cabin!!! Thank You..

The ambiance is very family-friendly dining. Everyone is seated in a large dining room area and there is a small bar as well. Dinner is served with bowls of pasta and sauce no matter the entree you order, making sure you don't leave hungry. The prices are mid 20's to 30's, but the portions themselves are large. They even wrap your leftovers so nothing spills out of them. We got there around 5pm on a Saturday and the place was already pretty full, so keep that in mind when you go. The staff was super friendly and attentive despite how busy it was. (I'd include more pictures but I forgot to take them )

How does Log Cabin think gobs n gobs of bad food look cool when customers don't eat it! This is ridiculous for "leftovers for 1 at lunch"

I also can't say enough good things about their fresh coffee and pastry menu. Their Italian coffee menu is spot on from their cappuccinos to their affogatos, they offer something everyone will love! There is also cute nook areas inside and outside seating to enjoy your fresh cannoli's (THE BEST) or other menu items at. Everything we've had from there has exceeded our expectations. Not to mention the staff at Italian Food Store is the best, you will not meet anyone like them: truly the nicest group of people. We can't wait to stop in again!

There was a sign with a phrase that was also written on the box for the cannoli I ordered that said "pleaza donta squeeza da cannoli!". The saying was around what looks like an ai generated stereotype of an Italian chef. I understand that the store is clearly Italy themed and claims to bring the culture and authenticity to the area which is great, I just think there is a better way that doesn't involve mocking a people or accent for that purpose. Again very cute store, great options, and wonderful service. Just consider the impact that the branding may have on the community you are trying to support. Thank you.

We ended up coming to Lobster Landing twice during our trip -- once on the way to Mystic and again…read moreon the way back -- which probably says everything you need to know. It's definitely a little more expensive than some of the other lobster spots we tried, but I honestly liked the food here the most. The lobster meat is lightly seasoned with what tasted like butter and lemon, and it all worked perfectly together without overpowering the lobster. The bun was incredibly soft and loaded with so much meat that it was practically falling apart in the middle. We got the half-pound lobster roll both times and would absolutely order it again, but it is $60. The clam chowder was also excellent. It's creamy without being too thick, and you can really taste all the ingredients. The hot dogs seem to be really popular -- almost everyone was ordering a lobster roll and a hot dog combo. My son loved them so much he had two the first visit! The outdoor seating and water views make it such a relaxing place to sit and eat, and there's also a market on-site where you can buy lobster and shellfish. Definitely one of our favorite stops and somewhere we'd happily return to.

I went early, only about 20 minutes after they opened at 11. I had seen pictures of the building ahead of time, but they had an outdoor setup as well. The setting along the waterfront was gorgeous, a there were lots of tables, but I imagine they fill up quickly. Business was already beginning to pick up a lot in the 20 or so minutes I was there. Service was friendly, and my order was ready extremely quickly. It probably took 3 minutes tops. I ordered the quarter pound lobster roll and a side of coleslaw. Prices were pretty average, the roll was $31. The lobster was chopped a bit more than usual, but also not overly so, and there were still lots of large chunks of claw meat throughout. I appreciated that the buns were simply grill toasted, as the generous butter drizzled over the roll would have been too much for me had the bun been buttered much itself. It was a simple and straightforward CT style lobster roll, executed very well. Such a straightforward approach really requires strong execution, and I was impressed. It was delicious, and the lobster was perfectly cooked. The coleslaw had a great balance of tang and sweetness, and wasn't overly dressed. Solid coleslaw. No complaints. If you're a fan of just a good, classic hot buttered lobster roll, this is a fantastic choice.
