Wow that wedge salad was amazing- the bacon was perfect, blue cheese great and it had a French dressing sauce as well. I have never had a wedge served that way and it was great. My son's cheeseburger was amazing.They use the left over meat from trimmings. Our server (perhaps owner I should have asked) said they don't want to be a burger place. Well I hear you but that kids burger was amazing. The beef tips were fantastic- great Dijon mustard sauce. It was a great meal! Crowd was up north Chicago style- but man the food is stellar. We went inside, it was really well designed with a nice bar, outside porch, and tables on two levels. On to the drinks! Samantha, a real nice lady, was behind the bar. My old fashioned was beautifully muddled and made to my specifications, bourbon, sour, and olives. Sorry, no cherries. Fish fry with lightly breaded cod was next, and it melted in the mouth! Tartar sauce, beans and nice French fries completed the entree. Note, mouth watering as I write this, sorry. . My wife had an original creation of Samantha, wild rice, Brussels sprouts, bacon, secret spices, topped with walleye fingers in a bowl. This won an award, she noted, and it darned well should!! Ok, this place is a real gem in the Northwoods. We will see you there because, for the foreseeable future, I will not go anywhere else!

Would pass on it next time. Four adults and two children in the party. Adults had filet mignon, baby back ribs and two had fish fry. The steak was prepared perfectly and came with a baked potato. Ribs were good but they were not typical baby back as expected and came with a potato pancake with apple sauce. Fish fry was generous and served with cole slaw and baked potato. I spilt a wedge salad and it was delicious. Romaine lettuce split and loaded with blue cheese, tomato's, bacon and a blue cheese dressing. Kids had grilled cheese sandwich with fries, and the other had pasta with red sauce. Both meals were clean plate club. Our server was excellent. The meal was timed perfectly and we were kept informed as the night went on. Would definitely return. Recommend without any reservations. Ambience is special, well worth going early to check things out.
