Went with my baby (under 2) and we had a good experience. We went right when the restaurant opened and we had a great view of the fish tank. Our server was Kelsey and though she was quiet, she was great checking on us and giving refills. The kids chicken tenders and Mac n cheese was perfect for my kiddo. I ordered the Atlantic Salmon and it was pretty good but the proportions of food on the plate were so strange - the salmon much much smaller then expected for the price paid, and almost an entire bundle of plain asparagus that no one would ever want to finish alone. The mashed potatoes were solid though. Overall, a good experience.

Waheed was an excellent server! He was very attentive and knowledgeable about the food. I ordered the Coconut shrimp with aqua rice pilaf instead of fries, Coleslaw and pineapple and plum sauce. I really enjoyed the experience. I will be back again very soon! :-)

Came for a surprise dinner. Pros: the atmosphere ! It's really nice inside , surrounded by fish it was really cool. The lighting was nice and sets the mood The waiter was great and very helpful , and polite Cons: the food My fish taco was so off . It felt like parts of it was old . The fish itself tasted like it was fried in old batter . Only one out 7 people finished their food 1 person out of 7 took the food home only because the didn't like wasting food Pro food: the bread

The sampler. I forgot what it is called.

Food was ok. It's not a top end restaurant so I wasn't expecting much... I sat at the bar and the service was top shelf. 100% the bar tenders were super nice and friendly. You really only go there for the ambiance. That aquarium really is amazing. Over all, not bad. My 13 year old girl and her friends had a great time running around and spending my money. Lol. Not there for the food but I'm glad the food was decent. Everything else is pretty quality. $25 for an all day pass... I've paid more for less. Overall, it was a good day.

Food was ok. The atmosphere is what scored the 4 STAR. Staff was friendly. I would recommend to make the reservation first because it does get packed in here. Almost forgot, make sure to ask for the complimentary dinner rolls. DELISH!

The Aquarium restaurant was an unexpectedly pleasant dinner experience. Large serving sizes, nicely seasoned chicken and seafood, crispy fried items, and underwater ambiance. The castaway combo was a great appetizer to share among 3 people with leftovers to spare and included quesadillas, cheese curds, queso and chips, fried onion, and dipping sauces. We had a great server, complimentary bread basket with butter (that can be refilled), very plush booth seating, and tons of room for 3 people (so larger parties would still be quite comfortable). Prices are a bit higher than I'd like, $40ish per person) but we also had three to go containers and it is a unique experience in Houston with plenty of good photo opportunities.

This was my first and surely not my last visit! I went solo on a Friday afternoon and was immediately greeted upon arrival. There is both indoor and outdoor seating available and I was seated perfectly within view of the 360 aquarium tank. My waiter Howard wasted no time greeting me with a warm smile and took my drink order. I ordered the coconut shrimp meal and the mermaid adult beverage. The drink was made perfectly and he first brought out 2 warm pieces of delicious bread & butter. My meal soon followed which was nice & hot and very delicious!! I was a little too full for dessert but I will for SURE make room next time!! Its great for a solo meal, date or family/friend outing.

First time eating here. Plenty of onsite parking $15, and I highly suggest making a reservation. Place is way bigger then I thought and does have outside tables so if you wanted to sit outside you can. And now that weather is getting cooler as summer is over I bet in Oct-Feb would be nice. We were greeted and seated right away and since we are Landry members the manager came over and said hello, love that gesture from Landrys just a make you feel good/vip thing. I ordered the Stuffed Seafood Newburg, it was excellent and huge portion. From pic in menu to my plate it looked and tasted awesome! This is a must try!!! Huge 50,000 gallon fish tank with all sorts of fish, sharks and stingrays.. Keep in mind there are a lot of family's with children and some parents do not watch their children or have well behaved children and let them run around and scream and make noise. I wish staff would say something to the parents to stop it from happening or have signs at checkin about not letting your children run around. But it wasn't too bad but just a warning to everyone that it isn't a quite romantic place but is upscale on quality of the food. Over all I had a great time and enjoyed it and my food was excellent and tasted really good. Great views of Houston skyline also. Erma was our waitress and she did a great job..

If you're looking for a fun and family friendly restaurant experience, you'll love this place! It's loud and active. There's so much going on , especially on the weekends. And the aquarium that sits in the heart of the restaurant is the main focal point. The fish swimming around are a sight to see and they are huge. I loved the way the staff was keeping the glass clean throughout the night. As you can imagine the little ones can't keep their hands off of it. It's a huge attraction and can also be a huge distraction as well. I noticed several parents trying to get their kids to eat instead of running up to the glass to check out the fish. Dinner was amazing, the drinks were amazing, and so was our waiter.

This happens to be the second time we wait here. Here's a fun little tip. If you just have two people in your party, you can just sit at the bar and skip wait if you don't wanna sit at the table. The bar is full service and food comes out really fast and fresh. What's cool about this? Is there there's a huge fish tank which I think is really cool. Would we come back again? Absolutely this place is so cool.

Loved eating here after visiting the aquarium. You are surrounded by some beautiful exhibits and it was soothing to see the fish while enjoying the food. The food was surprisingly good for a touristy spot.

    Savor the sea meal!

Amazing food that tastes so good! Service was amazing, quick and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We were able to find a seat very quickly and felt amazing. After the visit I felt amazing! I just had the best food experience ever!

Something simple that should be an easy win. Unfortunately, everything leaned the same direction: either it was heavy, over-sauced, or overly garlicky. It tasted more like dressed-up frozen food than something thoughtfully prepared. And listen...I don't mind indulgent. But there still has to be balance and fresh food. Fresh like it was raw and delivered today, not fresh like fried in the last 15 mins. When everything is coated, covered, and competing, nothing actually stands out. The drinks didn't help either. They leaned hard on alcohol without much flavor behind them--more "this will get you there" than "this tastes good." Nothing was terrible. But nothing made me want another bite, either. And with seafood, that's kind of the whole point. The atmosphere is friendly, great music, and the service was very attentive. Even the presentation wasn't bad. It just wasn't enough. But at some point, you stop asking what's missing and just accept that it's not landing. I was still hungry so I went next door hoping for a better experience. I want to be clear: It's not bad. I decided to step outside my comfort zone and try the Oysters Rockefeller... and let's just say they weren't my speed. They weren't bad, just not for me. So naturally I sent them back and ordered my tried-and-true favorite... Chargrilled Oysters with extra garlic butter, Parmesan, and bacon. Now THAT'S what I came for!
