Got my interior done thru Katzkin and they sent me to AR to have it installed. They asked me if I wanted to do the center console for an extra charge and I agreed. Don't know what quality leather they used but the stitching didn't even match my seats. They also swam to use low quality material cause their leather on the console keeps cracking. I went in and they fixed it the first time and the 2nd time only like 6 - 8 months later it happened again and they said it's "wear and tear". Looks more like low quality material. Take look at my photo. This hasn't happened to any of my other cars that I drive so not sure what they are trying to say. read more

I went to AR Customs OC to order and install custom leather seats for my 2021 Silverado 2500HD Custom Gas. I also asked if they could install a dual USB port in the rear seat so my kids could charge their phones. I worked directly with Lupe and within two weeks of ordering the leather, the install took place. I've done a ton of research on the Katzkin leather seats I ordered. It is premium leather that is sold as OEM with some dealerships and receives nothing but fantastic reviews. I dropped the truck off with Lupe in the morning and picked it up the same evening. I cannot begin to tell you how amazed I was with the results. This truck went from blah to wow, in less than $1700. The truck now looks like an LTZ without all the LTZ chrome features I did not want. Trust me, the photos do not do it justice. I will absolutely be recommending anyone interested in a leather upgrade to contact Lupe at AR Customs and get your custom leather ordered in any color combination, any color stitching, any color piping, even perforations and custom logos. 5-star completely satisfied! One last comment. If you look at other installers website pics, you will see they deliver cars with wrinkles still in the leather, which is normal. They just tell you to park in the sun for a couple weeks and the wrinkles will work their way out. Lupe and his team took the time to steam my wrinkles out, so they were already gone upon delivery. Hi Mike, I need to bring this issue to your attention on the recent seat cover install on my 95' 3000GT. Two days after picking up my car while doing my laundry I found myself walking thru the parking structure stopping at my vehicle with an undeniable urge to open my door and stand in amazement at the phenomenal installation your team did on my vehicle. The new car smell of the leather didn't help. I'm sad to report this urge repeated itself 3 more times that morning while moving my clothes to the dryers then getting them folded and walking back to my apartment. I reached out to Oc Customs to have my back windshield tinted . I received a call from Lupe who seemed willing to assist and friendly at first. My appointment was back in September and after my car was tinted I noticed specs, bubbles and lifting . I contacted Lupe advising I wasn't happy with the tint and scheduled to bring it back . October 15 Lupe called me asking me if we can reschedule the tint job as he had unforeseen circumstances . I ended up going a 2nd time and the work done was worse than the first time . Before I even left the shop the whole bottom part was rolling up and he explained to me that this was part of the process which was very odd. I waited almost few weeks after that giving a chance for tint to cure and the tint just kept rolling up. I called after that and spent several days leaving messages with an assistant named Karla and never received a call back. Finally after 3 days of leaving messages with Karla I asked for her to process a refund . I then all of a sudden found Lupe calling me on the other line . I let him know the work was bad and i would like a refund as I will be taking my car to another shop to be correctly tinted . He stated they don't do refunds and that they tried fixing it twice already and that I was not satisfied so his hands are tied. I let him know if the tint was not done properly then a refund should be done and he refused then said he will talk to his business department and see about maybe a partial refund and he will call me back by end of week. He also stated that my back windshield has a defect and that's why the tint wasn't curing. I had an appointment scheduled with another tint shop the next day and that tint shop told me on the phone , that they never heard of glass defect and tint not curing and i scheduled an appointment with the new shop to inspect the supposed "Glass Defect". I explained to Lupe that if they found a defect in the glass , then a refund should be processed since they were not able to tint . Not surprised but he didn't call me back as promised . After a week and a half I filed a BBB complaint and disputed the charge with my bank . Lupe then finally decided on November 15th to call me and left me a message to call him to process a refund . I did end up taking my car to the new shop and they advised me nothing was wrong with the glass and this is 100% installation error and very very poor quality tint . I also had a piece of the tint looked at by several installers including the new shop , all which told me this was 100% not ceramic tint and it was the worst installation they ever saw. Pictures posted below . The clear pictures are after the new shop completed the tint on the supposed "Defective Glass".The following ones is the work Oc Customs performed . Previous pics were sent to Lupe via his phone advising him of how he gave the customer back their car and he didn't even reply to the pics sent. The only time Lupe was interested in contacting me was because of the disputes filed with BBB and my Bank . Please know I didn't care about the money it was the principle and how even after he pinned the poor installation on a glass defect , he was still refusing to refund the money until a complaint was filed. I took my car to the shop at AR Customs OC to have them install a performance chip on my car. The manager, Casey was very attentive to the job that I was trying to have completed. Casey even sat with me and discussed the benefits of having them install things that would improve the performance of the chip that I had installed. I don't have a single complaint about my experience with AR Customs OC, everyone that I interacted with from the girl who works the front desk, to Casey the manager was very welcoming and provided me with great information about getting my car to perform to its optimal availability. I'm DEFINITELY going to be taking my car to AR Customs OC for any and all future projects for my car! I should also mention that I paid a lot of money at a car stereo installation place in Santa Ana for a complete sound system upgrade and it has been installed incorrectly because sometimes when I'm driving the whole sound system cuts out midsong and when it's playing the sound appears to be coming exclusively from the subwoofer in my trunk. I reached out to the people at AR Customs OC about this and Casey offered to diagnose my issue. I was looking for new Rims for my car i contacted the manufacturer for the wheels i was interested in and was referred to AR Customs. I was put in contact with Casey he was very helpful. I asked if he could get a sample of the wheel i wanted. He check with Savanni the wheel manufacturer and arranged to get a sample. They were very accommodating as i made a number of trips to see the wheels. When i was ready to purchase Casey was responsive and was able to arrange delivery within just a couple days d I'm was impressive since Savanni has to do a custom machine On my wheels so i didn't need to add a spacer.
