We got take out from here on a rainy Saturday. I got the shrimp kabobs and was shockingly disappointed by how small this portion was. The photo when ordering looked like an abundance of shrimp, I wasn't expecting as much as the photo, but I assumed it would be two skewers. It was just one. The shrimp was cooked well and seemed fresh. It was seasoned well. The salad that came with the meal could have been better salted. A bit steep for the price and what was received.

Vegan review: Highly recommended for vegans! Very accommodating and the menu calls out which items are vegan/dairy-free. Came here on a sunny Sunday in Seattle. Outside seating was perfectly located where the sunshine hits you to keep you warm in the breeze. We started with drinks, Coconut mojito and Strawberry kiss. I really enjoyed my Strawberry kiss, but my partner wasn't the fondest of the mojito. She said it was good without the foam on the top. Otherwise, *everything* was a 10/10. The eggplant fritters were delicious! Aliza switched the tiziki sauce with this green sauce. Delicious! I think they would have been even greater with hummus and/or eat with the shirazi salad. My partner ordered the Harissa spiced lentil curry and she tore it up!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was able to get a few bites, and we both agreed it's a 100/10, will order again! I ordered the chickpea burger with no feta. The fries that came with were *perfectly* cooked. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, yum! I added some of the shirazi salad on my burger and that made it even better. I recommend adding that to the burger ;) it worked like a Mediterranean pico de gallo. For later, I ordered the falafel wrap, which is a new item. Based on everything else, I already know it's going to be a 10/10. Aliza, our waiter, was the sweetest and gave us a piece of a baklava; It was filled with pistachios. We enjoyed that, as well. If you're in the Roosevelt/Greenlake area, stop by this place. You won't be disappointed, but overjoyed and belly full. Thank you!!

Arabia Mix Platter, chai, mango yogurt drink

Reasons for 4: quite expensive, beef was tough to chew First time here and we were drawn by the outdoor seating - it has fire heaters that look beautiful when you pass by. Sat indoor because it was cold. Comfy chairs and very empty on a Tuesday night, so service was quick. Ordered the Arabia platter which came with chicken, lamb, beef, and shrimp. We liked the chicken and lamb best because they were the juiciest. The beef was tasty but as I said earlier, hard to chew - all the meats had great flavor. The tzatziki sauce was to die for ! I'm sure anything would be good with that sauce on it. To drink, we tried the mango yogurt drink which was so delicious I would buy that by the gallon - not sour at all in my opinion. The chai is unsweetened but there is sugar at the table if you prefer some. Spent $90 so unfortunately not something my friend and I would do often, but a worthwhile experience nonetheless.

Arabia was a delight to try. Our food was delicious, service was considerate and prompt, and the setting was pleasant. We'll definitely be returning! I'm glad that there are multiple vegan-friendly entrees in addition to a collection of vegan-friendly mezze appetizers. The online menu and in-house menus are a bit confusing on this point. Some items are marked on both menus with a dairy-free symbol while mentioning feta and other dairy ingredients like a tzatziki sauce. The pita bread is specifically marked as dairy free and as non-dairy free on the in-house menu and is mentioned repeatedly as non-vegan online. When I spoke with our server, she confirmed that the pita is vegan as is normal. We were able to get the tzatziki on the side with our falafel and eggplant fritter dishes. They also have a gluten-free pita available for a small premium. Portion sizes were comfortable given the menu prices. These are reasonable for Seattle, and we two were able to fill up with a mezze medley, an order of falafels, and the eggplant fritters. Everything was delicious, and the plate settings were cute and effective. The falafels were a particular treat, and the eggplant was deliciously melted inside its fried shell. The mojito mocktail was a delicious treat even if it cost $10. We could have done with an extra piece of pita or two, but everything lined up well with a little planning. The restaurant bar may be prominent in the photos, but the atmosphere was calm on a weeknight, and there are several tables available to either side of the bar as well as outdoor tables. Three TVs played a basic scenic loop and didn't distract much. Everything was clean and felt well cared for. Our server and a staff member behind the bar were both considerate, timely with their attention, and able to answer questions about the menu options. We couldn't have asked for a nicer experience and have a great Middle Eastern option in our neighborhood to return to!

Went here for lunch today. Service was friendly and food came out correct and super fast. My beef kabob was overcooked but I'd still go back because the flavors were awesome. Also thought it was very reasonably priced.

    - There are many Mediterranean restaurants and cafes in Seattle. What stands out at Arabia Med Cafe's menu were the many lamb entrees and varieties of kebabs. There are enough inspired dishes from Greece ,Turkey, Lebanon, and beyond for a tour of exotic cuisines of the Mediterranean. For value and variety, this cafe is highly recommended. We would return when in area. - The cafe is a casually modern venue with a great looking bar. It felt high- end in the dining area with modern decor , heavy cutlery, and plush seating. Our host/ server Shamir was attentive, friendly, and welcoming, frequently keeping our water glasses filled. - We ordered LAMB SHANK that was well-seasoned, accompanied with aromatic spiced yellow rice, and extra jus on the side. If you enjoy lamb dishes, this is the one to get. 4.5/5 - ADANA KEBABS : we enjoyed the flavors with basmati rice, but texture for us was too soft almost tasting raw. The tomato side salad and tzatziki sauce provided a well- rounded dish. 3.5/5 we took some home to reheat kebab and texture remained soft and still flavorful. - PISTACHIO BAKLAVA: served warm, it was buttery, chunky with pistachios, easy to cut, and not so sweet. We felt a bit of warm spices would improve the experience. 3/5 - Overall experience for 2 with tax and tip: moderate price around $70 - The Ravenna area is a local community with many variety of affordable dining. However, parking will be challenging in neighborhood especially around the busy streets. Arabia is a block away from train station and a block away from a park and ride. Just beware of parking signages.

This was AMAZING!! I had the shish taouk which was perfectly seasoned and had such a melt in your mouth texture! The salad may look like a normal salad but it has so much flavor, there is a hint of sweetness, perhaps pomegranate? The tzatziki is so creamy and fresh! Every detail of the experience is perfectly executed! Aliza was an amazing server, she kept checking in on me and was very friendly! When you leave the whole staff says bye which is really sweet. It gives a feel of being a guest rather than a customer! The place has a nice, wooden and homey vibe and it's great for an intimate dinner with a partner, some close friends, or just yourself! I will be back again to taste the rest of the menu!

Professional, kind and welcoming service! This is the family-run restaurant that just recently replaced the beloved vietnamese restaurant Bol. But, this place has excellent quality middle eastern food (with tons of gluten free options as well)! Those of us in the neighborhood have been eagerly awaiting its opening and it certainly doesn't disappoint. The interior is so cozy, they already have a wide variety of food and drink available (and that's just for their soft opening), and staff is friendly and knowledgeable about their menu. Would highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a bright and thoughtful take on mediterranean cuisine! See their soft open menu below - I've been told most items are gluten free, but the dips come with pita (unless otherwise requested) and the chickpea burger comes on a wheat flour bun. Check with your server before ordering; they're very helpful! Excited to try literally everything. Even more excited to see the full menu next week!

A fantastic new place in Roosevelt, formerly the location of BOL. Only in soft opening right now but it's a must try!

Fantastic food and amazing service. We had our pup with us and they had plenty of outdoor seating to accommodate. The mezza medley comes with 4 amazing dips and is a great starter for the meal(it was so good it was devoured before I could take a photo) and the halibut and lentil soup were both perfectly seasoned and delicious. Finish it off with a Turkish coffee!

How does a restaurant manage to fail at every single step? Hospitality? Zero. Customer service? A joke. Food? Inedible. An absolute masterclass in how not to run a restaurant. Can you top that?

After living in the Middle East as an American expat for many years, I am by no means an expert on Middle Eastern/Arabian cuisine, but I did fall in love with it. Upon returning to the US, finding this quaint, quiet, comfortable little place was heaven-sent. Their home-crafted recipes and preparation, from the heart and mind of their owner, provide an authentic and delicious dining experience. Every bite reminded me of my overseas home and of the amazing hospitality and meals I enjoyed while over there. The prices are reasonable, the staff warm and welcoming, and the food... a delight. Treat yourself. Escape the burger, and experience Arabia.

Full bar and the best cook.

The service by the cook and her daughter was outstanding, super friendly and sweet. We tried the halibut which was outstanding and a Middle Eastern stew called Ghormesabzi and that was also wonderful. Then we tried the Turkish coffee, which was also authentic and smelled wonderful.

I got a build-my-own saj wrap with the mushroom base saj $6, sumac chicken $7, tomato $1.5, cucumber $1.5, pickled turnip $1, and a side of hot sauce $2. The saj bread itself tasted good, but got soaked through by the juice of the chicken and became very soggy. We walked to a park 10 minutes away to eat the wraps and the wraps were bending. The ingredients are fresh but nothing particularly stood out. I didn't quite taste the mushroom on the wrap, and on top of that, I got charged $2 for the hot sauce, but never tasted it in the wrap or found it on the side. My partner got the falafel saj wrap which was overall ddcent, but he also found the saj bread quite soggy, yet the falafels were on the dry side.

The signature saj bread is cooked fresh on a hot stone and is almost like a Middle Eastern flour tortilla with the way it's super thin and satisfyingly chewy bite. The only seating options are a few large benches on the sidewalk, but there's a poster saying you're welcome to sit at the neighboring bar which opens in the late afternoon provided you purchase a drink as well. Ended up sampling 3 of their wrap options and the Zaatar Wrap was deliciously nutty and fragrant, but texturally there was so many herbs that the center ate a little dry. The Lahme Khuruf (Lamb) was my favorite by far with super juicy ground meat with some tang from the labneh, sweetness, freshness from the tomato, and texture from the pine nuts. Absolute home run on this one! The Awarma and Cheese was a close second, but personally, the flavor profile was just a little less interesting than the lamb. Tip: grab some extra napkins as the wraps can fall apart a bit at the end!
