Hands down the best Indian burger place is PNW! Heard about this place from my friends but never tried it until last weekend! They open from Noon to early in the morning! Located in the University district! Offers hamburgers, cheeseburgers, chicken burgers, Indian burgers, kabobs, sides and milkshakes! Some of the Indian burger options are quite unique as well. We picked up a Chicken Masala burger, Paneer Masala Burger and Chicken burger. Delicious! Loved the flavor of those Indian burgers. Masala burgers are a little spicy in nature but adds a great flavor to it. Really surprised by the Paneer burger - had it from different places - but this one stood out as it's one of the softest Paneer I have ever tried! It's a small burger joint. Hardly 6-7 small tables for dine in. Most of the burgers are priced in $ - value for money! Staffs are super friendly and awesome! Cash payment is easy - card payments do have credit card fees. Highly recommended this place if you haven't tried this yet.

An amazing spot for Indian style burgers! As a non vegetarian, the paneer burger is the best! I prefer it to the chicken one. The price is very reasonable as well, and it has been a staple throughout my time as a student! They don't mess around with spice, so order it medium or mild if you're not a spice god. The guy who runs the store is very sociable so it's fun to speak with him! It's a small space, so not great for dining in for large groups, but it's wonderful for grabbing something on the go!

returned to one of my favorite spots in udist once again and i just keep coming back. for the price, the taste, the consistency, speed and quality of service, and the menu options, this place is at the very top of my list of favorite places to eat in seattle. would highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting! does get hot over the summer as the restaurant, like many in the ave (udistrict street with many restaurants near UW) are not air conditioned. my favorite thing to do is hop right across the street over to boba up and enjoy my chicken masala burger or pita with a nice build-your-own boba. overall: 10/10 taste: 10/10 price: 10/10 can't recommend this spot enough!

Little edit: (strawberry milkshake tasted sour almost like raspberry and had skin of some fruit that tasted like cherry..?) I've yet to try the milkshakes or anything that's unique to the place, so take this with a grain of salt. There are a few pros to point out immediately though - they're open relatively late with few other restaurants on the Ave and they're very close to campus. Experience was fairly average. I'll definitely compliment the prices here, they're fairly low for burgers in the area and lower than your typical high end chain. I need to come back to try more specialized options that make this place unique and more of the Indian burger style, something I've yet to try. Because of these factors, I'm sure there'll be a change in my opinion after, but for now I'm judging solely based on the fast food burger experience. I stopped by after night practice as they were one of the few spots still open. Was a bit overwhelmed by the many choices and wanted more protein so opted for a triple deluxe burger. Snagged onion rings as well since why not. The triple deluxe is essentially three patties and three cheese, literally what you expect. Tasted like most other burgers, so no complaints there. All burgers come with lettuce, tomato, onions, ketchup, and mayo alongside their differences. Burger is somewhere around $7 or $8, didn't see a price listed and don't remember exactly. It's one of the more expensive burgers which makes sense as it is 3 patties, the others range from $5 to $6 so that's fairly cheap. Onion rings disappointed me at first as I got 8.5 small onion rings, but then I remembered the price point being $3. Honestly, not the worst. While small, the price isn't absurd so value wasn't bad, I'd opt for other sides though (curly fries and mozzarella sticks catch my attention).

It was late at night and we were craving for some vegetarian Indian burger and were suggested this place. Finding a spot to park would be difficult on a weekend it seems. Its a small place on a busy street which is open till late at night. When you look at their menu on Yelp and what they have displayed differs, I mean their menu does not show much of the vegetarian items. We ordered their:- Paneer Achari Burger- The burger had 3 big pieces of paneer with the regular lettuce, tomato and spreads. The paneer was stale, hard and off tasting. Lentil burger- The patty in it is made of lentils primarily of red kidney beans. I just cannot elaborate on how I ate this one, it smelled so bad of meat. Vegetarian & Vegan friends beware. Its an open kitchen where you can see how they are making the burger, they have a big griddle on which they make their meats plus vegetarian items. Fries- Fried them in the same oil in which they fry their meats. Overall, never coming here. Highly overpriced for the quantity of food they give.

    It was tasty!

My friend recommended this spot, I'm not sure what we ordered, I believed it was the paneer burger. It was tasty, flavorful, and it filled me up just right!

WOW!! I was in Seattle for two days and I went to this place twice during my visit. It's the perfect example of fusion food. Food: their burgers are so freaking delicious. The pneer burger is my favorite. It has a tangy paneer slice and some basic veggies and mayo. It simple yet pleases the taste buds pretty well. The chicken masala burger was good too, a bit spicier than the paneer one but good. I could move to Seattle just for their burgers. Service: very quick Service. You could see the people working in the kitchen and you'll be amazed at how fast they can whip up these burgers. It's like one of those video games where you have to deliver orders within a time limit. And yet all their orders are equally delicious. Ambiance: it's a hole in the wall place which you might miss if you weren't looking exactly for. Not much seating, maybe 5-7 tables in a small room. So I guess this place is better for takeout. In-all: I think you can guess that I am a fan. And this place is going to be a must do on my list whenever I'm in Seattle. Trust me you don't wanna miss it.

OMG the paneer burger at this place is a MUST order if you're a vegetarian- I was craving Indian mcaloo tikki from McDonald's india and this passes the test. I can easily eat two because it's so tastyyyyy. It's a very small place but serves one of the best Indian style burgers in the city (esp for a vegetarian)

The restaurant itself leaves a lot to be desired, but I'm not asking too much. I believe the owner said he was trying to revamp the place. I hope that the area comes alive in the future years, that should help. Here's the issue though, this is the slowest spot ever. I've waited 30 minutes for fries - FRIES. I don't mind waiting for food, but it should remain reasonable. There were only two or three people working, and one man did tell us this, but I need to be honest - this was on Super Bowl Sunday. No one was able to get anyone a beer from the tap for 40 minutes, the food took forever and it appeared that online orders were being prioritized (which makes sense, you make as you get orders coming in, but that puts your in person customers in an odd and sometimes frustrating position). To be honest, I probably wouldn't have minded as much if I just had some fries to snack on. I didn't mind as much this one time because I was just happy to find a place to watch the Super Bowl Half Time show, but other days, it's a little hard to look past. I wish this business the best, I live too close to not hope for its improvement! Looking forward to updating my review. At the end of the day, if you're hungry, it's late, this is your spot.

No Philly cheesesteak. So I asked, "If you didn't have Philly cheesesteak, why didn't you tell me that when I ordered it?" He said, "I don't know, I can put it on the side if you'd like." I said, "I thought you didn't have any Philly cheesesteak?" He walked away, came back with a side of Philly cheesesteak, and told me to put it on the sandwich myself. For $19, I shouldn't have to assemble my own sandwich -- especially after being told you didn't even have the main ingredient. Just be upfront with customers.

The oysters were the main draw for me, and they were totally worth the visit. Old Stove serves them with a savory watermelon sauce in addition to a traditional cocktail sauce--eaten together, it's a flavor explosion that I can't quite describe. We also enjoyed the garlic everything fries, which were delicious! We just had to try a flight to sample the brews. There are some really good beers available here, especially the Belgian blonde, citra pale ale, and the stout. I did not really care for the seasonal sour (grapefruit, I think)--to me, it just tasted like a sour and nothing more, but someone with more interest in sour beers would probably enjoy it just fine. Despite the busy night, our server checked on us regularly and was very personable, stopping to chat with us about the local sports scene. There's plenty to look at, inside and out. If you can snag a seat outside, you'll get to enjoy the waterfront. Inside, the decor is industrial but fun. Not sure if this runs all the time, but when we were there, the tvs were playing vintage beer ads, which was quite fun. They also sell some pretty good t-shirt designs. Overall, Old Stove Brewing is the perfect combo of good location, good food, and good beer. Definitely recommend a visit when in the Pike Place area!

I didn't expect much out of these, but they were surprisingly good. The rice is cooked perfectly, sticky and tender, yet each grain is distinctive and almost bouncy, giving great mouthfeel. The musubi seems to be dipped in a small amount of soy sauce, although not enough to cover the entire rice surface. The additional sodium isn't really needed in the first place due to the salty and meaty kick the spam on top gives the handheld snack. It's a classic combination for a good reason! (4/5) For the Food Walk special, they only give a small scoop of mac salad. I'm sure the normal side portion for $5.94 is much larger. The salad is unspectacular but solid. It's a little sweet, a bit peppery, and certainly very creamy. There's a bit of julienned carrot included that isn't particularly crunchy, being soaked in the mayo sauce. The macaroni itself isn't mushy or overcooked, so it still has some texture. (4/5) I don't usually expect much out of food court restaurants, but Aloha Plates definitely surprised me with their quality. It seems like a solid option for Hawaiian.

Perhaps the Lao Burger served there wasn't as juicy and succulent, with perfectly crisp smashed patties as I recalled? Or perhaps Taurus Ox just serves a completely inferior version. I revisited for a Friday late dinner to reach the bottom of things. This was at around 8PM and the place was surprisingly busy, with a fully running kitchen and almost all seats taken. It's a pretty small restaurant to begin with, but since the food comes fast, people don't typically stay too long. By the time our food arrived, a table had cleared up for us. Lao Burger ($18) - This Lao Burger is just as good as my first visit. Absolutely perfectly fried smash patties, completely with lacy, crispy edges that provide texture and an intense caramelized meaty flavor. I've already described the burger in detail in my previous review - what I can say on this visit is that the burger is basically identical, indicating that Ox Burger is consistent with cook and construction. The burger as a whole has the perfect moisture level with plenty of unique funky, umami-full flavors that make each bite a delight. As with my previous review, two things come to mind that detract just a tiny bit from my full enjoyment. Firstly, the burger as a whole is a bit salty for my tastes, necessitating several trips to refill my cup of water Secondly, the piece of sliced pork belly included is kind of vestigial. It seems to be only there to add additional salt, because neither the flavor nor texture are very apparent while eating. (5/5) Deluxe ($15) - This burger is somehow way messier than the Lao to eat. Upon lifting it up, a mess of watery mustard/mayo mix drips onto the plate. I think it might be from the extra moisture in the tomatoes and lettuce. And yet, somehow the bun isn't soggy at all. This burger is otherwise excellent, combing the same picture perfect smash patties as in the Lao, with the classic fixings - American cheese, bacon, pickles, and plenty of veggie mix. (5/5) I'm glad I gave the Lao Burger another chance. It's now one of my favorite burgers in the city. I'll definitely be coming back to Ox Burger for more. The food was great for all adults involved. Portions of fries are generous and delicious, and come with fancy sauces (none of which appealed to me, but were appreciated by my family). The burgers are really inventive, so we all wanted to try the Lao. It's delicious. I did balk at $18 for just the burger, which is a smash patty (less beef) and I took the cheese, Mayo, and cilantro off. Eighteen dollars! No side, no drink. I might just be living in the past I guess It's really hard to order for kids here, imo. Even my non-picky kid was not about it and the toddler wouldn't try it. Thank goodness for fries, eh?
