We started out with both the fried dum and shumai; the dumplings were excellent and the shumai were overcooked. The japchae noodles were superb and the salmon salad was finished to the last drop of dressing. For entrees, the braised short ribs were excellent and the teriyaki salmon scrumptious, the portion being so large that half went home. The spicy braised chicken was a hit with my in-law and my wife wound up taking the rest of her bimbap home for tomorrow's lunch. All in all, we were very pleased with the meal. The owner was kind enough to bring out a desert we had asked him to keep refrigerated with two candles to celebrate one of my in-law's birthday. He also accommodated us by turning on the air conditioning when we entered and turning the temperature up when it got a little chilly. We'll be going back soon.

Ramens at the end of dinner we call "Shime", were ramen and they have a few different kind and our two kinds were good. It's important for us that ramen noodle not over cooked and hot soup, they didn't fail on that point as well. They had a few other good Shime foods on the menu, too. Two of us ate and drunk pretty much and the bill came $140, that is reasonable for the amount and quality of food and great services. I'm glad we tried the honey truffle rolls since they were so unique, but I'm not sure I'd get again. I think the truffle made my brain confused that it was sushi. Which is these people who just eat Korean/Japanese food. And one of the episodes was they went to their local deli and bought all these snacks/foods. I was really excited when we came in and saw the variety of sushi items, sandwiches, sodas and everything in between. I stocked up to bring home with me. Everything that I bought was yummy! Can't wait to visit Japan and Korea to immerse myself in their culture and food. Would highly recommend this store.
