I was super indecisive throughout the pandemic of what exactly I wanted. Barak never seemed bothered by my requests and adjusted my estimates several times based on my new ideas. We have been looking for more than a couple of years to get our back patio done. We knew what we wanted and we had looked in yelp as well as referrals from friends for contractors that could do the job for a reasonable price. We had probably more than a dozen contractors come by to give us an estimate of the job we wanted done. We had some crazy crazy estimates. Thank God we found Arbel construction on yelp. Barak is the best. He is quick to respond. Very easy to talk to and promised to t work for a more than reasonable price. We had some electrical issues and I was for sure convinced that we had to abandon our project once again but Barak made sure we had good options the issues we faced and helped us and walked us thru the whole process. The guys that came to install and complete the project were very skilled and knowledgeable about what was needed to be done. When I called a few days later he said he had left me a message on Friday letting me know he wasn't going to make it. These people are unreliable, untrustworthy don't use them at all!! They are the contractor's nightmare you don't want to deal with!!! We had them do our backyard and replace our sliding glass doors, this project was going to take a few weeks, a month at the most and it took them almost 2 months! We wanted the customize sliding glass doors and they had to special order them, the 1st door finally came in after a cpl of wks and they broke it.. now we had to wait a cpl more wks for the new door.. 2nd time it came they broke the door again!!! They promised us things they didn't even give.. I understand accidents happen, but their service is unacceptable!! This is the kind of stress they put you thru and you don't want to deal w/that!! We paid them top dollars for the peace of mind we didn't get!! Beware of these guys because they might of changed their names bcz of the poor service they give!! read more

We got a patio cover with a fan installed. Barak was super helpful from start to finish. Cost $2500 which was on par with the other 5 places I got estimates from. Installation was supposed to be a one day job. It took 4 hours but over a couple of days. No big deal, we had it done right around the holidays and everyone was super busy. Complete scam artist. Took them weeks to complete a job that should have taken a few days. Quality of work was sub par and no one has returned to take care of warranty issues. Had to constantly ride them to get anything done. Crew showed up intermittently at best at their convenience and would leave after only a couple hours of work. Had to micro manage the entire job. Don't be fooled by their smiles and sales pitch. They hide behind their toll free number and shiny brochures. One of the worst decisions I have ever made. Would give them zero stars. Hopefully these guys get what's coming and someone picks them off with a solid lawsuit. They'll purport to know things they do NOT. From carpentry, paint, stucco, foundation, landscaping to basic finishing work, I would have been off doing it all myself. Like I said, hopefully karma kicks in and these guys get a good dose of what's headed their way. Very sad that companies like this can continue to exists. Update: We just had our outdoor patio enclosed to make an extra play room for the kids. It was finished in two days!!!! I couldnt believe how quickly these guys can wrap up their projects. And super clean and organized too. Im really impressed with this company. I dont know why other reviews talk about "salesmen"....this is a family owned business and the owner himself comes out to your home. He oversees the project from start to finish which is a nice change from these larger companies where you are just another number. He was always accessible by phone when we needed him and he was super nice and professional the whole time. I would highly reccomend this company. Project manager was rude and never showed up after the first day of work. Workers didn't come when they were supposed to, and calls to office were unanswered. We tried emailing the manager and still got no response. Workmanship was poor (large gaps between stones used for BBQ island), so we had to have it redone. There was no communication between the manager we spoke to and the workers who came to do the work. read more

He asked what I was looking for in a new patio cover and worked my ideas to come up with a great design. The price was extremely competitive and fair and he wasnt pushy at all. The work was done in about a day and a half and looks great. I had one request for a minor change on the gutter downspout and he fixed it very quickly. Overall , very happy. If you like to waste your time, call these guys. I needed some pool work done and had them come to my home. Well after testing me on my knowledge of pools he quickly makes some recommendations, shows me pictures on his IPad for 2 seconds and says $10,000. complete.( Other written estimates were $2000. to $3000.) I still asked to have an estimate emailed( see what I could get for so much?) and was told oh we do not do that. ???? Nothing in writting. Only after I give a deposit and sign I get the contract. That is the way we do the job, I was told. Are they kidding. After the two of us going back and forth with me " I want it in writing" and him "no not possible" and finally as a result of my "begging for an estimate" a big favor would be done for me and he will ask the boss. He makes a call on his phone (did he even call anyone?) while walking to the other side of my yard out of hearing range and ten minutes later says no written anything. I say I can not do business like this and he is gone before I can ask him to leave. DO NOT bother with such a business. read more
