Sheepshead's own Fro-Yo place, and honestly, I prefer it much better over the chain fro-yo places like Pinkberry. This place has ice-cream, fro-yo, crepes, and many other dessert items. It is a small shop, with great customer service. While the selection of flavors is not huge, whatever they do have tastes very good. Excellent selection of crepes. love the nutella crepes. Food - Ok. Price - Ok. Service - TERRIBLE! The people that work there are such imbeciles. First, I ordered 2 crepes, and gave the cashier a $20. Total was $11.37. He gave me $7.63 back, which is $1 less than what I was suppose to get. Then the guy walked away and another guy was at the cashier. So I went back to get the receipt, and it says I gave him $12. Which means there was no proof that I paid a $20 and the 1st cashier probably just pocketed the extra $8. Afterward, while we were eating, the two cashiers were playing catch with wet paper towels across the room like they were at a playground. Mind you these workers are 25+ years old. This place needs to hire more mature workers or have more supervision. Never going back there will sure to tell my friends not to go. Need to find a new place. read more

Good not great but with fairly little to chose from in the area this has to do. They don't have a large variety of flavors and toppings like Pinkberry so I usually get the same order over and over again. The servers are always friendly which is definitely a plus. Arbuz is one of the frozen yogurt spots located in Sheepshead. The place is quiet small so you might have a hard time finding a seat during busy days especially during the summer. The place is taken care of nicely. The tables are always spotless when I go there. The staff offers samples of different flavors you can purchase. My favorite flavor is chocolate. They also have different toppings you can put on top of your frozen yogurt (Oreos, strawberries, etc.). I usually put sprinkles. Everything is delicious :) the bathroom is also kept clean. Do i know how to love? Sure i do, Arbuz! I love indeed. When i first heard about this place i said ... frozen yogurt in seeps head bay, never its only good for cheap sushi and meeting people you knew in junior high school. I was so wrong, The flavors are all just fine the toppings are always fresh and the mochi is decadent. I like enjoy asking for a smaller amount of yogurt and filling it up with fruits. I also recommend the Belgian waffle with the Russian condensed milk cream liquid (Zgyshonka.) Arbuz has never led me wrong. Don't forget to get the loyalty card stamped after 9 you get 10th free!!! read more

I've had two things from here: Plain frozen yogurt with strawberries and chocolate sprinkles on top, and strawberry nutella crepes. Both are yummy! I should definitely try the flavored yogurts next time, usually I'm in a rush and just order right away. As someone who doesn't live near a Pinkberry or Red Mango, their desserts definitely hit the spot when in the mood for them. The staff is nice and helpful, and the ambiance is friendly. Best Place in SHeapshead bay!!! Not only do they have froyo they have delicious crepes an waffles. Went in there and ordered a nutella banana crepe came out delicious with alot of nutella and a cappuccino with a heart. The service was terrific . There is this one employee very nice and cute. Not sure why this place got raving reviews, maybe on other items but I got 3 Nutella crepes and two waffles to go and let's just say the crepes are the worst I have ever tasted. First they were as thick as a thin pancake, tough and literally over cooked it was extremely crispy. Crepes are supposed to me light and fluffy. It was a waste of my money and maybe some other stuff may be good but stay away from their wanna be crepes yuck! Definitely will never go back. read more

I don't live too far from Arbuz but I order out from there more often than I walk in. I wouldn't say that I order frequently but once in a couple of months. I just ordered about an hour and twenty minutes ago. The man who took my order said it would arrive between thirty to forty minutes. I'm beginning to be impatient. I've called Arbuz after an hour passed and I was told that it was already out for delivery and that it would arrive soon. It's been twenty minutes. The food is decent and is a quick fix for someone who's craving Red Mango or some other well known yogurt place. I just called again after an hour and a half and they placed my order again. My order of crepes arrived cold and they forgot my tea. Not the first time. I received a call back and was told that I'll be given a free frozen yogurt the next time. read more

Very original, nice place. Yougurts are good, the same are crepes. Kids just lo o o ove the place. Everything is fresh. Mommy loves lattes ( good quality coffee). A little too expensive, I would say. Having 3 kids who wants to try yougurts and crepes, myself to have latte.... Can't go there too often... Can't wait for the deals ( sometimes they have half price hours, etc). My girl friend and I went there to try their smoothies and ice cream. We ordered waffle with ice cream, gelato and regular ice cream with different toppings. We loved it. The ice cream was so good and waffle was fresh. Definitely will come back. Employees were very nice and helpful. Been coming here to get gelato for years and never had any issues. Today A very rude and ignorant sales girl gave me a cup of double chocolate regular ice cream assuring me it's hazelnut gelato. When I kindly mentioned her it's not gelato and the flavor she gave me is not hazelnut at all but double chocolate she turned away saying ' I know nothing about it, my manager brought it'. That was it. Very unpleasant experience....we've paid for the ice cream we didn't order and I just throw it away as double chocolate is too sweet for me. you just lost a family of customers, Arbuz. I order from Arbuz a lot and I always looked past the screw ups (always forgetting to bring change, assuming 5$ tip on a 15$ order ect) because they deliver quickly and send the delivery guy out the second my order is ready ( I am down the block, literally). Today was by far the worst experience I've had with them, I had to call a few times before anyone answered the phone and once they did I was placed on hold immediately, once they returned and I placed my order again something comes up and the guy doesn't understand what I want to drink ( carrot juice, nothing complex here) he goes on to say the machine is broken, please hold someone is coming to fix it. So again I was placed on hold until they fix their machine, which Is absolutely ridiculous. When he came back to the phone he asked me what else I wanted besides my crepe (which was carrot juice, which was why I was on hold..) I repeated it, he placed me on hold again... Came back and announced that he can't deliver my order because it doesn't meet the 15$ minimum. (I checked my order on seamless and it came out to $14.52) Mind you, they delivered an order for less to me just yesterday. The 1 star is not for food, it's for the miserable service . If you want fresh tasty yogurt this is the place . This is the only yogurt place which carry lychees so thats a plus. They are quite pricey but it is really good. Place is clean . The workers are kind of rude. read more

Last Saturday evening my mother and I decided to stop by for cappuccinos and crepes. We placed out order and sat down, one other table was taken with the occupation of 4 people. 15 minutes passed and I got up and asked for our drinks, the female cashier advised that they will be ready soon. In approximately 10 more minutes the cappuccino's were finally ready! Just the look of them was extremely off, there was no foam. Once tasted, we quickly realized that it was mainly warm milk with a slight resemblance of coffee. I then got up and asked for the crepes that we ordered 25 minutes ago. The cashier advised that her male coworker does them but the machine is broken and its impossible to make crepes without it. More people were already in the cafe and their orders of crepes were being dispersed. I then came up to the employee who was making the crepes and asked when our order would be ready. With an attitude he stated "you have to wait, the machine is hardly working." I then came up to the cashier and ordered her to cancel the order and demanded a refund. She asked me how to do a refund with a credit card. I advised her to call her boss/owner. As she was speaking to him, I heard him give her directions and specifically say that if the customer paid with a credit card then the refund with be done with a credit card! She hang up and gave me a refund in cash. To make matters worse, she gave me a refund of $6.00 more. The reason why I'm writing this review is for the owner, if this was my business I would want to know what exactly is going on. It is unreasonable to wait 25 minutes for 2 cappuccinos...never again am I coming here!!!! read more

Crepes and atmosphere I'd give 4 stars, hot chocolate only two. So If Yelp allowed a half star this place would average to a solid 3.5. For Arbuz I'm rounding down. We had a dark chocolate with berries crepe for a little snack/dessert and it was delicious. The hot chocolate was still scalding and undrinkable after 15 minutes. The flavor is seriously lacking, not much better than a Swiss miss at home. But definitely come in for a crepe- frozen yogurt smells/looks good too. They also serve tea and Belgian style waffles.
