When I tell you the Basque Country Salad is the best salad I believe I'll ever eat in my lifetime, I'm not exaggerating. Their white whine vinaigrette could be bottled and sold for millions. If you like chicken, prosciutto, walnuts, figs and goat cheese, this salad will make you shed tears of joy. Everyone is SO NICE there! I got the special of the day which was cranberry egg salad sandwich, and cranberry bread. It was so tasty. I had a choice of sides with it. Potato chips, apple or veggies and dip. I chose veggies and dip because that is not offered very often. The veggies were wonderful and the dip was even more wonderful. When I'm up in Green Bay again I definitely will stop by.

I had the pork belly Benedict and my husband had the traditional eggs with an additional side of pork belly. We both left full and our bill was reasonable. Plus their coffee is very good. We will make this a routine stop when in town. Josh our server was great. He helped put me in the right direction. Said "you can get traditional Benedict anywhere". Thanks for that smart reasoning. I ordered a Turkey Avocado Bacon Panini which was delicious! It came with the option of homemade garlic fries or sweet potato fries. I choose the sweet potatoes fries. They came with a sugar coating which brought a sweet and savoryness to the meal! Overall, the food was good, but not enough to outweigh the inconvenience. Both sandwiches were superb, and the lobster rolls were significantly less expensive than the small handful of places that you can find them here in Northeast Wisconsin. The place was fairly empty because we got there well after lunch hour, but we were surprised to not see anyone else in there because this place is far better than most other options, including, but not limited to the corporate franchise options like subway, Jimmy John's, firehouse, subs, etc. Nothing beats Local small business owned restaurants like this! The staff was very friendly, and although the place was empty, they were processing a bunch of phone orders and we've watched a bunch of people come through for pick ups. Our sandwiches were prepared within five minutes, and they were absolutely delicious! We highly recommend this place and plan to go back next time we're off the Door Peninsula and down in that Green Bay area around lunch.
