Burger was missing lettuce (easy fix) he said his steak was cooked PERFECTLY (still no silverware) I requested more mayo and more dressing (still no silverware) we realized there wasn't any silverware when he wanted to cut into the steak. So we had to request silverware. Back to the steak.... Cooked PERFECTLY..... zero seasoning. Added a little salt and requested steak sauce and the steak was demolished. My wales saw my water getting low and said she was coming with more water. I finished my water she came by and asked if we needed anything.... Water please. With a few adjustments to the obvious (having silverware at the table when seating customers, and keeping a real eye out for drinks) this place might be alright. Not just thin, but completely hollow with no cheese, just an outer shell. The "beef" empanadas had no beef inside. Again, mainly hollow with only a little cheese inside. Overcooked and almost impossible to chew. They were also out of some pickled items that were supposed to be on the plate, and they substituted some old strawberries, which definitely did not complement anything on this plate. We were here for a full meal, but we stopped here and did not order our main courses. ***MOST IMPORTANTLY*** Some employees were engaging in activities inside the establishment, which are not conducive to a restaurant in any capacity. A call will be made to management and/or the owner(s). We're highly hopeful this is a one-off experience and these issues will be rectified going forward. We love this place. I like that it's an order at the counter place, with a very distinct feel of getting a higher end burger at a place with waiter service. I think more restaurants would greatly benefit to change to this model, not everything needs a waiter, and customers are generally happy to handle getting their own drinks while saving the tip. Anyhow, I went with the smashburger special, two smashed out patties topped with American cheese, pickles, onions, shredded lettuce, and burger sauce. I got tots for my side, because frankly, I think tots are the superior potato consumption method. The patties had a nice crust on them, plenty of beefy grilled flavor, nicely seasoned. The cheese and onions provided balance, and acidic hits from the pickle topped it all off. Very tasty. The tots were fried crispy just how I like them. Everyone else at the table had a similar premium experience with their items, and we all agreed this was a great pivot. We'd come back!

The meat is tender and cooked perfectly. I'm a medium rare steak man, but I like my burgers at a solid medium. They cooked it to perfection. A tender and thick patty with an amazing crust. The kicker is the smoky flavor you get throughout. Add in a fresh brioche bun and amazing toppings, and you have a perfect burger from top to bottom. And they're not short on variety either. If you can think it, they can make it. Great location with plenty of parking and a super friendly staff. Pretty much everything I said in my last review still totally stands. I don't get to come here as much as I used to, but it's still a place I probably go once a month. My favorite thing here is still their classic reuben. While I wouldn't call it a traditional reuben, I love the way they prepare it. Chopping together the meat and kraut on the hot flat top grill, as well as the buttered and grilled rye bread and russian dressing, it's just such a tasty sandwich all combined like that. The other thing I love here is to build my own salad, especially with their pesto grilled chicken. It's always tender, and matches great with their balsamic vinaigrette. You get your choice of any toppings on the sub table, and it really makes for a filling and healthy meal packed with protein. The dressing and parmesan cheese were unbelievable! Since this is in downtown Greensboro, there is no dedicated parking lot but we easily found street parking nearby.
