I love a good burger and always get an egg on it! So I am often on the lookout for someplace that offers them this style, not just fast food. I was looking online for lunch specials and this place popped up saying they have a $6.95 all day monday special, so, after seeing that they offer egg on the burger and how good this deal was (plus a side) I decided to give it a try. The place was not super busy when we arrived, but I do think we missed the lunch rush as the staff was cleaning and restocking. Even though it had clearly been busy it was very clean and the decor did not feel dated and was pretty standard for a place that is borderline fast food. However, it did not taste like fast food. I ordered a burger with egg, cheese, and pulled pork. It was a perfectly cooked medium rare with the fried egg over easy. It was absolutely packed with savory flavor and a slight sweetness in the pulled pork. The egg was runny, just liked i like it, and had slightly crispy edges. The bread for the burger was fluffy and a little sweet, a perfect pairing. I ordered the tater tots as my side and they were nicely seasoned and crunchy on the outside but hot and soft inside. Their hamburgers are big and delicious! I ordered my burger cooked medium rare, and it was perfectly done! My toppings were: lettuce, tomato, onions, and tomato jam. I ordered onion rings as my side. They are cut in house and hand breaded. They also come with a dipping sauce. The onion rings were good but greasy. Next time, I'll opt for the hand cut French fries! The serving size of fries is enormous! Food order is placed at a counter. If you chose to eat in, you're given a number and food is brought to your table. Only tables in this restaurant: some with only chairs and others with chairs on one side and a bench seat on the other side. All seats are hard, and with NO padding. The restaurant had a good business, with 80% capacity inside and people coming in and out constantly for to go orders. I ended up here because the restaurant I planned to visit was closed for renovations. I feel like it was my lucky day, as this burger was much better than I would have gotten there. A failed expedition for dinner at a place down the road let us to make a quick pivot and come to Porterhouse. I've been to Porterhouse before, just not at this location. It was quiet inside, but that didn't deter the staff from efficiently taking our order and getting us burgers hot and fresh within about 15-20 minutes! I like that it's an order at the counter place, with a very distinct feel of getting a higher end burger at a place with waiter service. I think more restaurants would greatly benefit to change to this model, not everything needs a waiter, and customers are generally happy to handle getting their own drinks while saving the tip. Anyhow, I went with the smashburger special, two smashed out patties topped with American cheese, pickles, onions, shredded lettuce, and burger sauce. I got tots for my side, because frankly, I think tots are the superior potato consumption method. The patties had a nice crust on them, plenty of beefy grilled flavor, nicely seasoned. The cheese and onions provided balance, and acidic hits from the pickle topped it all off. Very tasty. The tots were fried crispy just how I like them. Everyone else at the table had a similar premium experience with their items, and we all agreed this was a great pivot. We'd come back! read more

Came in to check out their $7 monday burger special and it did not disappoint. The burgers were juicy, fresh, and so so tasty! The tater tots were crispy and well cooked and seasoned. staff was super nice the location was clean and the food came out lightning fast and cooked to perfection. The meat is tender and cooked perfectly. I'm a medium rare steak man, but I like my burgers at a solid medium. They cooked it to perfection. A tender and thick patty with an amazing crust. The kicker is the smoky flavor you get throughout. Add in a fresh brioche bun and amazing toppings, and you have a perfect burger from top to bottom. And they're not short on variety either. If you can think it, they can make it. Great location with plenty of parking and a super friendly staff. Really good!! The food here is really good, and a great place to go with a family who has burger lovers and people who don't like burgers. I got a build your own wrap with grilled chicken, a bunch of toppings, and sweet potato fries, and it was really really good. I would order the exact same thing again. My brother and dad got some fancy burgers and my mom got a grilled chicken sandwich. Everyone loved their food and ended up having fries to spare. Service is really quick with their to-go food which is nice. I have never eaten inside, I've always gotten it to go, so I can't speak on the atmosphere inside. However, they do have outdoor tables which is great for the summer. My only complaint is that it is very expensive. I arrived here at 7:48pm on a Monday evening with my son to get dinner. There was a short line. Our Order was placed at 7:52pm. I got the jamtastic burger on regains bun with sweet potato fries and a sweet tea. My son got a regular cheese burger with fries. We sat at a table and walked. We received the food at 7:58pm, which was quick. The food was HOT! For me, the sweet potato fries lacked seasoning and tasted plain. It was tasty dipped in honey butter but the honey butter had a usually consistency, which is different from the honey butter I've gotten from other places. I didn't finish my fries and went to warm them and the butter up. The butter got hot but did not melt, which is what I wanted. I should've sticked to fries or tots. The burger, omg. Wonderful. That's the only burger I get when I go there. It was so delicious. I will always recommend it. This was the first time I got it on a brioche bun and I liked it better than it being on sourdough bread. Staff were friendly. No complaints. I will be back. If you want a burger, go on Mondays! What a delicious burger joint!! Searched yelp for a great burger place nearby my daughter's medical appt and stumbled upon this place. I was immediately attracted by the Hey Dolly Burger as it reminded me of the queen of the south, Dolly Parton. It was DELICIOUS! The fried green tomato and the pimento cheese with the pepper jelly and bacon were the perfect combo for an excellent burger. The chips were served a little cold but the excellent ranch dressing made up for it. My daughter devoured her kids hot dog and enjoyed the kids cream too! Her fries were also served cold. I think if the chips and fries would've been hot, this would've been a clear 5 stars The staff were very friendly and helpful. I liked that the utensils, dipping sauces and napkins were on a cart for easy convenience. The setting is very laid back and within a shopping center type area. Decided to visit for a late lunch on a saturday afternoon. There were a few in house diners and several others waiting for or coming in to pick up take out orders. Customers order before finding a seat with your assigned number and staff deliver the final product to your table. There is good parking outfront (avoid the spots reserved for the back) and the restaurant was clean with several large and small tables depending on your party size. My husband and I took a while to puruse the expansive menu featuring burgers, sandwiches, wraps, salads, and wings. We dedided that our first trip to porterhouse burger must include burgers so her ordered the goat cheese with sweet (Goat cheese, spring mix, tomato jam, caramelized balsamic onions) and potato fries (he fell in love the apple butter/jelly served with the fries). I opted for the spicier ring of fire with pepper Jack cheese, jalapeno cream cheese, fried onion ring, jalapenos, chipotle sour cream and tater tots. We also ordered a side of pulled pork egg roles (2). Our food came quickly and it was fresh but for some reason everything was warm but not hot. I would expect a freshly made burger and freshly fried egg roles to come out piping hot but they were warm at best. Same goes for the fries and tots but it was clear those had been sitting under a heating lamp. Good but not great nor what I was expecting. Maybe trying them on a busier day would change my review. There is something about not being there in person to look them in the face that allows the kitchen to be lazy and careless. I ordered the chicken wrap and the cheese and bacon were left off for some reason. The chicken used in this wrap is cold, grilled chicken breast, so without those 2 ingredients, it was really dry and flavorless. And the patty is not small, this is a 1/2lb. burger that's really good. It can sometimes be hard to produce this many burgers at once without them being dry but my burger was good. I added blue cheese crumbles, garlic aioli, balsamic caramelized onions with lettuce, pickles and steak sauce with their house chips and dipping ranch. Burgers very good however Porterhouse Burger Co needs to get a better online takeout order interface. Yesterday, the Square takeout interface would get stuck at checkout and the pickup interface thru ChowNow was ~$4 more for a burger than the menu price which is ridiculous. It took more than 20 minutes just to place an online order after multiple attempts! I personally don't care for the inside atmosphere but the outside tables are OK. We have always gotten takeout from Porterhouse without an issue. The food is good and convenient but we'll rethink if the online takeout ordering is not improved. The rating is the average of 5 for the food and staff, 3 for the atmosphere, and 1 for the online ordering experience/added price. read more

I order delivery from Porterhouse about once a month because they have a great special on Mondays for Burgers. It is also convenient to my job location. The burgers are constantly good and they cook pretty close to how you ask as far as Medium, medium well etc. I was able to go into the location on a Friday evening and they had a good amount of people in there but they worked quickly and had the food out to me and the other 2 people with me fast. The place did not feel crowded abd was very clean. I think they do very well on burgers but definitely would try when they run their specials on Monday's. read more

This is the type of place where you order at the counter and they deliver to your table. They do have beer on the menu as well if you go for happy hour!!
