I decided to swing by this second location since we were around the area. Did not disappoint! I got the ring of fire burger and oh my. Delicious I must say! The opinion ring was crispy even being in the burger for a while. The jalapeno cream cheese was a plus also. I'm a ranch gal and the ranch is on point here! Chip was chipping also. I really enjoy my meal thank you!

Really good!! The food here is really good, and a great place to go with a family who has burger lovers and people who don't like burgers. I got a build your own wrap with grilled chicken, a bunch of toppings, and sweet potato fries, and it was really really good. I would order the exact same thing again. My brother and dad got some fancy burgers and my mom got a grilled chicken sandwich. Everyone loved their food and ended up having fries to spare. Service is really quick with their to-go food which is nice. I have never eaten inside, I've always gotten it to go, so I can't speak on the atmosphere inside. However, they do have outdoor tables which is great for the summer. My only complaint is that it is very expensive. While yes, the portions are big, it was nearly $100 for the 4 of us to get takeout!

First time trying and it did not disappoint! Had the Carolina burger and it was perfect. Fries and macaroni and cheese were also on point. I hear they have a half price burger deal on Mondays. May have to be a regular thing! The atmosphere was casual and inviting, the staff taking orders was friendly and everyone looked busy. Can't wait to try more!

The PATTY MELT is wonderful. So are the FR PICKLE CHIPS.

PorterHouse is easily one of my favorite places to grab a burger in the Triad! The burgers are flavorful and juicy, and they have a variety of tasty sides. I usually go with the Patty Melt which has buttery grilled onions, creamy thousand island, pickles, and swiss cheese. It's phenomenal. I also love their fried pickles which have a tempura-style batter and are served with a yummy ranch dressing for dipping. My husband really likes their Beef and Bacon burger with fries. Some burger spots rely on their toppings to carry all the flavor but not here. PorterHouse burgers are well-seasoned and have a wonderful char-grilled taste. They have a large menu with many interesting specialty burgers, chicken sandwiches, fresh salads, fish and chips, and chicken tenders. You can also build your own burger. Truly something for everyone! The atmosphere is very casual; you pay at the counter and grab your self-serve drink and tableware. The employees are friendly and helpful.

I arrived here at 7:48pm on a Monday evening with my son to get dinner. There was a short line. Our Order was placed at 7:52pm. I got the jamtastic burger on regains bun with sweet potato fries and a sweet tea. My son got a regular cheese burger with fries. We sat at a table and walked. We received the food at 7:58pm, which was quick. The food was HOT! For me, the sweet potato fries lacked seasoning and tasted plain. It was tasty dipped in honey butter but the honey butter had a usually consistency, which is different from the honey butter I've gotten from other places. I didn't finish my fries and went to warm them and the butter up. The butter got hot but did not melt, which is what I wanted. I should've sticked to fries or tots. The burger, omg. Wonderful. That's the only burger I get when I go there. It was so delicious. I will always recommend it. This was the first time I got it on a brioche bun and I liked it better than it being on sourdough bread. Staff were friendly. No complaints. I will be back. If you want a burger, go on Mondays! That's when they are on special.

Love visiting this location. I had a house salad with shrimp during this visit. It was so good!

    MONDAY BURGER SPECIAL

Big burger, crispy tater tots, flavorful sweet potato fries. At under $10/meal, can't complain! The service was super super fast and convenient, and there was plenty of casual seating. I dropped by on a random Monday because I was craving a burger, and this hit the spot perfectly. My only complaint is that the burger was a tad dry and could be seasoned a bit more, but in general, I will definitely be coming back here again the next time I am looking for a classic burger meal!

Decided to visit for a late lunch on a saturday afternoon. There were a few in house diners and several others waiting for or coming in to pick up take out orders. Customers order before finding a seat with your assigned number and staff deliver the final product to your table. There is good parking outfront (avoid the spots reserved for the back) and the restaurant was clean with several large and small tables depending on your party size. My husband and I took a while to puruse the expansive menu featuring burgers, sandwiches, wraps, salads, and wings. We dedided that our first trip to porterhouse burger must include burgers so her ordered the goat cheese with sweet (Goat cheese, spring mix, tomato jam, caramelized balsamic onions) and potato fries (he fell in love the apple butter/jelly served with the fries). I opted for the spicier ring of fire with pepper Jack cheese, jalapeno cream cheese, fried onion ring, jalapenos, chipotle sour cream and tater tots. We also ordered a side of pulled pork egg roles (2). Our food came quickly and it was fresh but for some reason everything was warm but not hot. I would expect a freshly made burger and freshly fried egg roles to come out piping hot but they were warm at best. Same goes for the fries and tots but it was clear those had been sitting under a heating lamp. Good but not great nor what I was expecting. Maybe trying them on a busier day would change my review. They also feature some extra cost sides like macaroni and cheese.

The HELLO, DOLLY burger and chips

What a delicious burger joint!! Searched yelp for a great burger place nearby my daughter's medical appt and stumbled upon this place. I was immediately attracted by the Hey Dolly Burger as it reminded me of the queen of the south, Dolly Parton. It was DELICIOUS! The fried green tomato and the pimento cheese with the pepper jelly and bacon were the perfect combo for an excellent burger. The chips were served a little cold but the excellent ranch dressing made up for it. My daughter devoured her kids hot dog and enjoyed the kids cream too! Her fries were also served cold. I think if the chips and fries would've been hot, this would've been a clear 5 stars The staff were very friendly and helpful. I liked that the utensils, dipping sauces and napkins were on a cart for easy convenience. The setting is very laid back and within a shopping center type area. Great for a lunch with friends and kid friendly. Will definitely be back when we are back in the area!

Amazing food every time. If you are anywhere near one of their locations get some food. If you're not near one, you need to go to one.

Loved the ability the flexibility to change meat and the sandwich however way you like it. The ambience was chilled and easily able to order and sit down. Got a bbq bacon burger with chicken and tater tots. Good portion, good quality, and good flavor. Enjoyed the meal and recommend visiting if in the area.

Built-Your-Own with Blue Cheese crumbles and balsamic caramelized onions

I am not sure if you can get a better deal, on a good quality burger, anywhere else in the triangle, as you can at Porterhouse Burger on a Monday. The staff are extremely patient and always friendly. You must order at the counter, they provide with an order number placard, and then you pick your table. Condiments and drinks are self-serve. It's a burger joint that gives the ambiance of a quick service burger joint, no frills. It's absolutely packed on Monday but the base price for a burger and the side is $5.95. And the patty is not small, this is a 1/2lb. burger that's really good. It can sometimes be hard to produce this many burgers at once without them being dry but my burger was good. I added blue cheese crumbles, garlic aioli, balsamic caramelized onions with lettuce, pickles and steak sauce with their house chips and dipping ranch. Still only $8.45 and one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. Definitely worth the trip!

    BURGER CALIFORNIA and SIDE SALAD
    Shaylee M.

This spot is one of my most frequent spots if I'm craving a good burger. I either get the Burger California or the Hawaii 5-0 whenever I'm not in a burger mood. The sweet tea is one of the best sweet teas in the area. The staff is super kind every time I've been here and it's such a laid-back atmosphere. If you see their food trucks at any event, I'd definitely recommend them!

On this weekday during happy hour, we had a bad experience unfortunately. Our server was amazing though! Giving her props for her friendly demeanor and great service. Drinks were also cold and refreshing. Where it turned sour: our Chef's Special appetizer plate. The mozzarella sticks were hollow. Not just thin, but completely hollow with no cheese, just an outer shell. The "beef" empanadas had no beef inside. Again, mainly hollow with only a little cheese inside. Overcooked and almost impossible to chew. They were also out of some pickled items that were supposed to be on the plate, and they substituted some old strawberries, which definitely did not complement anything on this plate. We were here for a full meal, but we stopped here and did not order our main courses. ***MOST IMPORTANTLY*** Some employees were engaging in activities inside the establishment, which are not conducive to a restaurant in any capacity. A call will be made to management and/or the owner(s). We're highly hopeful this is a one-off experience and these issues will be rectified going forward. We love this place. First of all-service was excellent. Our waiter came to the table within a moment of being seated to get started with waters and non-alcoholic options, and was quick to check back up on us and see if we were ready or had questions. He made several great recommendations on both food and drinks. My only caveat was that my 10 oz steak was a bit on the salty side, but this may be due to the aging process. It was cooked to a beautiful medium per my request, and both my sides (asparagus and loaded baked potato) were yummy, well cooked and seasoned perfectly. My husband got a pasta with pancetta and caramelized onions, and it was absolutely delicious. Suggested wines were paired well with both entrees. We opted to get a few more drinks with dessert, and both were also very good. The bartenders are not stingy in their pours! We also split the butter cake for dessert and I will say that Paula Dean would have been proud of that cake. It was melt-in-your mouth richness paired with a slightly tangy fruit sauce, fresh berries and a tasty vanilla ice cream. The restaurant as a whole was well set up, with multiple types of seating and a large bar area. Decor was well placed and there was enough room to walk through without feeling crowded, despite how busy it was. We will absolutely be back!

On a Saturday afternoon, I was in Greensboro and in the mood for some good pretzels and a draft beer, and this hit the spot. Old Town Draught House has a very old bar ambience, without feeling worn out and dated. I love the old dark wood throughout the building. They have a pretty broad draft beer menu, along with normal bar offerings. I was happy to see multiple sour beers on the list, because that's exactly what I was in the mood for. There's no table service, and it is seat yourself, but the bartenders were very attentive, and it was never difficult to place an order at the bar. We ordered a few beers and decided to get deviled eggs and the pretzels as appetizers to share. Food came out very quickly. The pretzels were pretty good, but I've had better elsewhere. Rather than being crispy, they were soft and a bit soggy, but the flavor was great. The beer cheese was on point, although I would've preferred a spicy brown mustard over yellow mustard. The deviled eggs were a bit of a letdown, because it was just a hard-boiled egg cut in half with a little bit of sweet chili peppers and dressing that tasted like 1000 Island on top. When I think of deviled eggs, I anticipate the egg yolks being removed, mixed with a few ingredients, and piped back in. For what was basically two eggs cut in half, the six-dollar price tag was steep. Overall, we had a great experience, although I would likely choose different food options next time. The bar staff were great, the beer offerings nice, and the ambience was a good vibe.

We watched a couple tables around us, get their food before us, and they had been seated after us.. The server had to go back and check on our dish a couple times before it finally came out. I will say the fish and the chips were fabulous, but the corn was terrible and should probably not even be included on the dish. It was WAY overcooked and chewy. The coleslaw left quite a bit to be desired as well. No seasoning, no flavor and was just bland. When it says wasabi coleslaw, I am thinking it is going to have a little bit of a kick to it but nothing. We started out with cocktails. I had a Hendricks dry martini straight up (it was delicious) and my wife had a Don't Call Me Sweetie which is mix of Hendrick's Gin, Lemon, Cucumber, Basil, Simple, Saline 15. It is very citrus heavy, so be advised. She had them cut it with a bit of cranberry to offset the citrus. For main courses, my wife had the grilled salmon and she chose sautéed garlic spinach and wasabi slaw as her sides. I ordered the shrimp and grits and my side was blackened green beans. Let's talk main course first. My wife's salmon was terrific. Flaky and moist and very tasty. My shrimp and grits was unique because it was a real balance between large pieces of shrimp and the grits. Many times you'll order this dish and end up with a pile of grits with some shrimp sprinkled on top. This version is very tasty and a really nice balance of flavors. The Cajun seasonings have it some kick, but it did not overpower. The side dishes are where we had a couple of surprises. First off the sautéed spinach was really delicious, but my wife's wasabi slaw was bland. It's a huge shocker because when you see the word wasabi, you expected to have some Asian kick to it. This did not. It was hard to even identify that it had wasabi in it. That was a disappointment. The surprise was the blackened green beans. They actually were one of the stars of the show. Their flavor and texture was just awesome. We could've ordered a huge bowl of it and eaten all of it. While it didn't need it, there was a dipping aïoli on the side, just in case we wanted to add that to the green bean experience. As I mentioned off the start, Fishbones is a very casual experience. It's very pub-like in that way. We really loved it and the wait staff, which is a team approach as anyone who passes you makes sure you're doing OK, were kind, upbeat and helpful. Even with the bland slaw, we can't lower our rating because overall the experience was terrific. We will definitely come back.
