This just ruined it for me, and after eating this sandwich for over forty years since I moved to Alabama. Food excellent. Customer service / management excellent. The dining area-disturbing. It was 3:15 pm Jan 2023 (weekday) and the dining area had four homeless men and one homeless woman. They each had several bags and charges all over the place, as if they were at home. One man had a tattooed face and was very jittery and moving erratically about. They had open sores and freely touched all the open condiments and soda fountain area. We were the only business customers and I felt as if I were dropped off with criminals. I don't discriminate or certainly have a Christian spirit, but this was unsafe, a health concern, and potentially problematic. Only one person had food. Everyone else was loitering. I felt very unsafe and families should be cautious of criminal behavior. If I wanted to dine with the homeless, I would have volunteered at the shelter. I certainly didn't have to pay to be in an element I was uncomfortable with. read more

I paid almost $8 for a Waygu Bacon Ranch Burger -- it was lousy and very disappointing; absolutely the worst burger I've had this year. The fact I was served a microwaved burger is outrageous. It was clearly zapped at a very high temperature, the meat was dry, veggies were extremely limp and cheese was so overheated I could see no evidence of an orange slice of cheese, instead I saw only the oily residue of what was once cheese. I discovered all this after arriving back in my office. I am offended that I don't warrant a better product than this. I threw it away after two bites. What a terrible dining experience. This Arby's is lacking in both food and customer service. They couldn't get our order right twice on the same order. My husband requested a sesame bun for 4 beef and cheddar sandwich they gave put on cheap hamburger bun that fall apart (the kind that you get a the grocery store). When we realized the order was wrong we went back and explained that we requested sesame buns. They gave up 4 new sandwiches on the same hamburger buns. I'm not a fan of fast food, but the sign said gyros, and I can't pass up a gyro. I wasn't expecting much, but was very pleasantly surprised how delicious it was! They were 2 for $6.00 and come in beef or turkey. The beef is their regular roast beef/nothing fancy. But still tender and juicy. The pita is large and thick, (may be a tad too thick for the non-bread lovers, like myself.). Sliced tomatoes, sliced red onions, shredded lettuce, and tzaziki sauce. The sauce was skimpy; I'll definately order "extra sauce" next time. I find it hard to say this was one of the best gyros I've had in Huntsville, because it's (1) Arby's and (2) sliced roast beef, but truly... it was delicious. Kudos to the service as well. The drive through order taker was very polite, and when I arrived at the window to pay, she had such a big, happy smile on her face that would turn anyone in a foul mood into a happy, giddy eater. "Small" Jamocha Shake was very good and only $1.89. Medium Creme Brûlée Shake was about the same size, and $2.89. It had some glaze crunchies in the bottom, but only a very faint caramel flavor. I was not favorably impressed with this lack of flavor. Medium Beef and Cheddar Classic sandwiches were very good. My wife and I each got one, at $3.49. Service seemed a little slow, as the two of us were in a bit of a hurry. However, we enjoyed this fast food supper for a total of $12.82. I give them a three and a half overall. read more

HOWEVER, the manager seems to be the only person here with any skills at managing the front. Ordered a double Reuben hold the sour kraut. It's made in the back. Girl hollers back hold the kraut! Cool. I am feeling comfortable the sandwich will be assembled correctly. Get the sandwich and look it over quickly. Take a bite. It's bitter. Stop look at sandwich. Nothing odd. Take a smaller bite. Pull out strips of sour kraut. Not what I ordered. Ok. We can fix this. Take back to counter and show counter girl by opening sandwich up. Obvious kraut on sandwich. Guy in back comes up. It comes with kraut. I took it off. Really? Ok give me a credit for the sandwich. The guy "I can make you a sandwich!" I say but I don't want kraut. He says ok I have some sandwiches without kraut yet. I pull the kraut off if requested no kraut. I ask "what do you do when the person eats that sandwich ordered without kraut because he is allergic to sour kraut?" "Then gets sick?" He responds "I'll call EMS.
