"We have the meats!" is the popular phrase of this fast food restaurant. i've never been inside this Arby's, but I've been through the drive-through many times. I have regular meetings in Westerville several times a month, usually schedule at a time where I've been moving between working in downtown Columbus and traveling to these meetings after work. This necessitates finding quick food along the way. This drive-through moves fairly rapidly and the food is quite palatable. It's situated on the northbound lane of State Street. Arby's is probably my favorite fast food. I don't eat fast food often, and Arby's is kinda thin on the ground so I find one only rarely. But it's not McD's or Taco Bell, anyway, so I grab it when I have the chance. Needed something fast. This was handy. Somehow I've been up and down this road so many times but barely noticed it. Dead at 6 on a weeknight, inside and out. I ate in. Tried the new deep-fried turkey sandwich, the one with herb sauce, onion straws, etc. And: pretty darn good. Held together better than a shlurpy Big Mac. Tasted good, with lots of savory turkey, a good bun, enough flavor even without the house sauces (I saved those for my curly fries.) Decent service, decent prices. Easy access with the light between it and McDonald's. In and out quickly and easily. There are obviously better places nearby, but if you need something in a hurry in this area it's a good choice. read more

Please close this location. It's looks like the building is about to collapse and the work product is embarrassingly bad. We ordered 5 items and they messed up three of them. You have to try to be that incompetent. read more

What is going on with this location? The building is falling apart on the outside. Example the roof over the drive thru is separating apart into layers. The dining room is decaying and has looked renovation worthy for about 5+ years now. And the side walk and general appearance around the exterior of the building looks like a scene out of the walking dead post-apocalyptic Georgia. good god, renovate or demolish! The food was good tho and the workers present on the day I visited didn't seem too dumb. Overall I like it! Edit: by the way, there's a review here from 9 years ago saying that the place looked outdated and run down. Wow! We went inside to eat. Our food was fresh and really good. The inside and the staff, well.... Cleanliness is not their strong point. It's run down and needs updated, badly. There's no ice in the self-serve pop machine. No napkins or self-serve sauces. A few packets of sauces. Sticky floors. The bathroom is not very clean. The exterior of the building is rundown and needs to be updated as well. I guess corporate doesn't visit this location. Staff seems like they have better things to do than help customers. Stick with the drive thru at this location. read more

Ignores someone that comes in to place an order - literally 10 minutes. And there were 5 people talking in their own world handling the drive through of one car. The inside is incredibly dirty. The floors, checkout the drop ceilings with water damage, The lights weren't on and it's 11:30am. I wonder how many of these Arby's will stay in business. I've always liked them. Ah, Arby's! I love Arby's. It pains me that my closest one from my home requires a day trip to Oshawa, but I do this run roughly once a month to get my fix. When I was in Columbus, it was nice to crave Arby's and know that there was one close by. It happened to me when I was driving back to the hotel from a day of shopping. I saw a sign for Arby's as I was on the highway and decided to visit it. This Arby's has a drive-thru. I gave it a go. The woman on the speaker was cheerful. I ordered a medium roast beef sandwich with double the meat. I got curly fries and a Diet Coke fountain drink. I then headed to the window, paid for my food with a credit card, and got it fairly quickly. The woman helping me with my order was so kind. This place has wonderful customer service. She wished me a great day and I did the same in return. I was so happy to chow down in my hotel room. I loved my roast beef sandwich. There was lots of beef that was tender and juicy. I got Arby's sauce that sealed the deal. The curly fries were yummy. My drink washed everything down. Entering and exiting this Arby's can be problematic, likely due to design. If two cars are waiting to for the traffic lights to change while in this lot, it causes a huge issue for cars coming in. The incoming traffic has no where to go. It happened as I was waiting to turn left and a number of us were waiting for the lights to change. It's a decent Arby's to get your sandwich fix. Hat tip to the woman who was so nice to me that day. The store is horrible, the employees are always clueless, and even the food is consistently bad. No matter how many times i try to give this place a chance I'm just always let down. The inside of the restaurant is outdated and the last time i was in it the A/C didn't even work. Which made it incredibly uncomfortable while ordering. Overall, i wouldn't recommend this location. This review is not at all intended to be mean or cruel. Yes the building, inside and out have seen better days the real concern is the product itself. If you remember to slather your sandwich with Arby's red sauce and white horsey sauce you might be OK. BUT if you take a moment to actually examine the " roast beef" you will discover that is not in any way roast beef. In fact it barely resembles some kind of " lunch meat". Standing alone it has almost NO roast beef flavor. This product starts out as a plastic bag of not quite jellied "parts". Once roasted in the oven it solidifies for extremely this slices. The Bun is good and the sauces carry the fake " meat" to your table. I don't hate Arby's I just think they start off from a place that was originally real roast beef, just not now. read more

I've been going to this location more often because of the consistent Fresh hot food and employees are professional even when it's late night. I was skeptical when I walked in due to peeling paint outside and crumbled side wall. Doors were open due AC malfunctioning. I could overlook that until I used the restroom which was dirty, without toilet paper and paper towels. How are the employees washing their hands? I left and went somewhere else. read more

I worked at, and was a manager at an Arby's for years...and this place just has horrible management that has trickled down to staff. There is zero pride put into the food they are preparing. I get that after awhile it really stops being food and is just a product you are shoveling out to the masses, but for a lot of people Arby's is considered high end fast food that is a treat. Give people quality, consistent food that you would want. My order is consistently wrong, missing items or just gross, old and/or cold. Yet, I'm asked to pull up ti the curb every single time. Why? I keep coming back thinking it was just a one time thing, but 3 bad visits can't be a coincidence. Hopefully someone somewhat responsible for this Arby's sees these reviews. read more

Doesn't deserve 1 star. Drive thru experience awful! Order- Ruben, potatoe patty, drink... No Ruben --gross roast beef -- beef had a gray/pink color, slopped on barbecue sauce, burnt bacon- not sure what else because too much sauce. I was the only car in drive thru, told to move ahead & wait while completing order? Young man handed the bag said "nothing, gave no eye contact" - literally looked away! I did attempt to call 3xs "before" midnite to report the order being wrong- no answer?! Did they get busy? Doubt it. Very frustrating! This Arby's is close@ 1am in comparison to other Arby's--Why? My husband was craving Arby's for lunch so we got Arby's. He went thru the drive thru and after paying he had to pull forward (no one was behind him at all) he waited 15 minutes after pulling forward to get our food. He got the new sandwich and there was no horseradish sauce on it (it comes with it) I got a gyro and the pita bread was rock hard on one side that I couldn't eat it. Half our fries were burnt (we got three orders of them) I got poppers and no sauce. My husband asked for horseradish sauce and red ranch and cheese sauce and we got nothing. They have been hit or miss with the sauce when we go but this time everything sucked. We tried calling but no one answered. read more

When looking at my receipt only charge me for the hamburger and a bottle of water. Normal older Arby's. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Food was good. All things you expect from Arby's. Dining area is a good size. Bathrooms are in need of a serious overhaul. We used to eat at this location quite often the last few times we went through the drive through our orders were all messed up. They have forgotten food. Their customer service is awful. The last time we went through the drive drive the girl who took our order was rude. We got up to the window and she had an attitude. I had said there's no reason to be snippy with me. She said oh I'm dealing with labor pains. I said if your not feeling well, you shouldn't have come into work. Of course I got a smart response back from here. The manger was standing there the whole time giving my a nasty evil look. I would give this place zero stars if I could, but I couldn't leave this review unless I gave it 1 star. Tried the new Gyros, or as the commercial calls them..... MEDITERRANEAN TACOS!! And i was very surprised on how good they were. Of course they didnt taste like a genuine gyro but for what its worth they were quite tasty. I had one of each, beef and turkey and honestly cant decide which was better. The only thing that was a little off was the sauce. It was good but there was just a bit too much of 1 of the spices. It stuck with me all day long. But....they still need to clean the place up some. the outside of the building is dirty and run down. And the inside is outdated. They should go see the one on east main, its nice. read more

This Arby's was very empty. The employees looked like they wanted to die, the food was sloppily made. I had to take apart the sandwich to get it in place so the melted cheese wouldn't splotch out. I went inside and there was tumble weed rolling around in there (Not literally). It was extremely empty. I could hear drive in costumers orders, it's like it was hooked up to a speaker. To my surprise, the tables weren't nailed to the ground. This Arby's is certainly not a place to go eat a nice dinner with your family. More like a place to stop for lunch, but that is it. This is the only fast food on the south end of Westerville that's worth spending money in. The food and service is consistently good.

This particular location has never been good. They always give you less meat than you would get at a corporate location. You have to pay more to get the correct amount of meat. Today my fries are very rubbery. The cherry turnovers have hardly any icing and are usually dried out like they're 2 weeks old. Maybe one days they'll read these reviews and change. read more

It's a wonder this place is still in business. I hit the drive through a couple weeks ago and ordered roast beef sandwiches, milkshake, and potato cakes. They informed me that they didn't have milkshakes and that their potato cake machine was broken. I opted for curly fries instead. When I got to the window, the attendant was using his cell phone as a calculator, telling me they couldn't take credit cards because their internet was out. That the building is in obvious ill-repair should be an indicator to avoid this Arby's location. The one further up State street on the North end of Westerville is much better. read more

Very displeased. We went through the drive through at this location and asked for 3 #6's. Pretty simple, right? So upon getting our food and drink we realized we didn't get our fries so we backed up (there were no other cars waiting) and said he missed the fries and he responded that we didn't order a combo, just the sandwich and drink. So, I guess my question is why is a # ANYTHING a combo (with fries) at any other drive through and THIS location is not? He argued with us and we ended up just driving away. I have a love hate relationship with this particular location. I always get good food and its pretty fast, but man o man its not the an easy task getting in and out of there. Especially around 12-6 Westerville road is ridiculously busy. The speaker on the drive thru is kinda whack sometimes but it has never given me trouble ordering, but when they repeat it back to you it's hard to hear. 1-20-18 at around 10:35 pm. I drove to the drive-thru and waited for someone to respond. No one. I proceeded to the drive-thru window and still no one insight. I backed up to the drive-thru menu where you place your order and proceeded to say "is anyone there!" And still no response. I then drove to the front and saw three guys sitting at the table outside smoking. I asked if they were opened. They say the drive-thru is. I told them I was there twice and no one was there to take my order. One worker ran back inside, but I was too angry to buy anything from this Arby. Always liked Arby's, went through and ordered my food and drink. I drove all the way to Johnstown to find out I didn't get a Sprite but instead they gave me water. I didn't complain because I would have to drive back to Westerville. Have always had a positive experience here. Friendly, helpful staff who are easy to understand and not scary-looking. Dining room is clean. Food is always fresh and hot/cold...whichever it is supposed to be. Drive thru is pretty good...not irritating. All of those are exact opposites of what you will experience at the McDonald's right next door. Did you know Arby's offers a BLT? Not surprised if you did not because it's not on the menu board but it is A+. Make that A++. Fish sandwiches are seasonal but are the BEST fish sandwiches of any fast food chain. One star deduction because there are no "regular" french fries - just the curly fries or potato cakes. Not a fan of either. Oh...the turnovers are another star! Check this Arby's out when looking for something other than a hamburger and I can't imagine you leaving displeased. read more
