Fazoli's is a still a good fast casual Italian restaurant where you order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. In the past, I've always given Fazoli's a 4-star rating but due to recent menu changes, I'm downgrading to a 3-star rating. The menu still includes a nice variety of Italian favorites such as baked ziti, lasagna, fettuccine, spaghetti, etc. with a variety of sauces - basic tomato, marinara, alfredo, etc. BUT -- in the past, they offered a choice of a house salad (very good) or a Caesar salad (excellent) and they have now eliminated the Caesar salad option. They have also eliminated another of my favorites - their Italian "ICE's" (a frozen drink concoction that came in a variety of flavors). If you looking for true Italian (like your Italian mom used to make), this probably isn't your idea of a good Italian restaurant but if you've looking for some good, satisfying comfort food -- this is still the place. My friend had a gift card so we decided to give it try for our movie night. I went in and picked up and online order. The people working there were not at the counter and took a minute to get to me. The place itself could really use and update too. It is very out of date and a little bit dirty. My friend had the baked ziti with a house side salad, I got the chicken Alfredo. I can not recommend you do NOT try the chicken Alfredo more. The chicken was a bit chewy and few pieces I had to spit out. The noodles were way over boiled, and the Alfredo was not that flavorful. The garlic bread sticks that came with it were not bad though. My friend said the baked ziti was just ok. She finished her salad she seemed to like. But neither of us finished our pasta. When I say the place is clean, it's so clean. Most fast food establishments you sit down and you see smears on the wall not here. I appreciate the detail to cleanliness. Ordered baked spaghetti with meatballs, baked ziti for my kids and I got the oven baked classic sampler (spaghetti with one meatball, lasagna and fettuccine alfredo). One word....bland. Nothing special about the sauce, no seasoning. Ragu could have been better. Do they ever taste test their food? Nothing special about the spaghetti, lasagna or fettuccine. Just bland. Today was a Fazoli's day. I had an urge for the breadsticks today that wouldn't go away. Also ordered the Baked Spaghetti and meatballs. It was a nice portion of spaghetti with a nice mild sauce which had sliced tomatoes in it and a good amount of Mozzarella cheese baked on top, add 3 meatballs and you have a good filling lunch. Surely I've reviewed this already? Come on. Okay, we come here fairly often. Not by my choice. Sweetie and Baby K like the pasta. I can find something to eat here, but there are so many better choices in town, even just in this area. Still: drive-through convenience. Reasonable prices. A decent selection. Holy breadsticks, I don't know how I went so long without eating here, but I wish I would have come in sooner! My daughter wanted spaghetti after school, so we dropped in on a Friday afternoon. We ordered, sat down, and our food was brought out to us in less than 5 minutes. We were given a TON of breadsticks that, in my opinion, could give Olive Garden's breadsticks a run for their money. My ultimate spaghetti was a healthy serving. I really liked sauce. Nice fast-food type italian spot. No complaint if you want a quick italian meal. The meatball sub will hit the spot when you want meat bread and red sauce with cheese. The other dishes are good as well. For me it's not a sit-down type italian restaurant with deep flavors. I go usually on Wednesday night with kids and the same team is working. They serve us with a smile, go out of there way to interact with kids (mine or others) and really make the experience positive. Interns of food....it's sooooo much better than it was when I started eating there in college. It's fast affordable and they have salads for my other half that eats healthier. Haven't been to this place in forever! I only remember the tomato, the name, and getting breadsticks. Saw it and decided to give it a try. Most Italian places are pretty expensive and when you are craving some pasta and on a budget this is the place. We had baked sampler, 2 slices of pepperoni pizza, small salad, and what feels like a ton of breadsticks (free.. unlimited..) and it was all delicious! Pizza had a nice crunch to it and tons of flavor, breadsticks were nicely seasoned, warm, soft, and automatic, the sampler came with lasagna, spaghetti and meatball, and fettuccini Alfredo. All were amazing! Food came out before we filled out drinks and sat down comfortable. Place was clean, and chill. Parking is pretty easy, and buildings not hard to miss.. it's a brick building with a big red tomato on a stubby steeple. I would've posted a pic of food..... buuuuuut.. it didn't stand a chance. Best breadsticks ever! I have loved Fazoli's since I was a kid, and I still love coming here for a cheap but filling option. I usually go through the drive thru, and it's pretty quick. Their rewards on the app are great as well. A few weeks ago, I was coming in around 9:20pm after work because I was too tired to cook. As I pulled up to the window, the girls were kind of rude, they seemed like teenagers. I noticed another person pulling up to the speaker behind me and the girls yelled "LEAVE US ALONE!" I made eye contact with them and they realized what they had done, but I felt embarrassed for coming so late. Fazolis used to be my go to for some quick Italian food back in the day but it somehow managed to fall off my radar. What brought it back? Being stuck in my house due to a pandemic and wanting some good pasta! We ordered some for delivery and were pleasantly surprised. Well, I was anyways. I ordered the Chicken Broccoli Penne minus the chicken and a Caesar side salad. My only complaint was that the side salad was taken away too literally and was too small. Like, way too small. My daughter had the 2 slice pepperoni pizza combo and the boyfriend had the ultimates sampler. Neither were happy with their choices. The pizza arrived really cold and the sampler in his opinion was blah. But of course the breadsticks were on point and they made sure to give us plenty. All of this food was around $60 which was pretty expensive for fast food whether it be through DoorDash or not but I would order again, I'd just go to pick it up myself. Yea, you'll see tomatoes on my pasta and I absolutely despise them. I took them off but for those that like them, they were roasted so I'm sure that's a plus. read more

Fazoli's is one of my favorite places. I don't get to eat it often because they are not everywhere around the city. When I do get them I make sure that I get the same thing because I don't want to get disappointed. Unfortunately, that didn't work this time. So, I typically go to the one in Westerville all the time because it's the closest. The drive through line was long so I went in. There was no one in line so I though I would be in and out. WRONG. They were slow. It wasn't any of my business but it also seems like they forgot a mans order that was waiting in the dining room because he came asking for it while I was waiting. I finally got my food and it wasn't what I came to know of this brand. I guess it's a sign of the times that everything isn't standing the test of time and sticking to quality. Man it's been forever since I've had me some Fazolis because there isn't a location real close to me, so when I found myself in Westerville, I decided to stop in. We were promptly greeted and the cashier put no pressure on us and allowed us to take our time to peruse the menu and place our orders. We found a nice size table for our large party and no sooner had we filled our drinks and sat down that our food was ready and at our table. My meal was excellent and I had the trio with fettuccini, lasagna, and spaghetti and meatballs. It was fantastic! The wonderful soft and buttery bread sticks are an awesome touch too. Extra star for the friendly prompt service and extremely clean restaurant all the way from the dining room to the restrooms everything was sparkling. Excellent place to eat! read more
