Salted Maple Latte iced 12 oz (half drunk cuz I couldn't help it!)

I randomly stopped into Arc & Kin for the first time and immediately knew I'd be back. It's this adorable little polar bear-themed coffee shop near Hunters & Hendrix (by Newtopia Cider) and the whole vibe is just... so cute. Cozy :-) I ordered the salted maple latte and I'm genuinely not being hyperbolic when I say it might be one of the best lattes I've ever had. It was perfectly balanced; not overly sweet, super smooth, and just comforting in the best way. I kept taking sips and being like "wait this is REALLY good." I also got an apple cinnamon muffin and it was so fresh and flavorful. They have a little patio which makes it even better, and overall it just feels good supporting a local San Diego spot that clearly cares. Highly recommend checking it out if you're in Scripps Ranch.

I had their iced baklava latte. I really liked that they have unique flavors, and I thought the coffee was great too. The staff was friendly and very accommodating, and they helped me adjust the sweetness level to what I wanted. The interior has great seating options and is very cozy, and it's a great spot for a coffee chat or just catching up with a friend. I would totally come again.

Finally! A charming little coffee shop at Scripps Ranch. Lots of seating to do work. Good WiFi. Loved the Salted Maple Latte. Not too sweet but very nicely caffeinated. Emma the barista was wonderful and really cheery. Great place!

I came to this coffee shop before when it was a different name under a different owner but now it's completely remodeled and doesn't even look the same. Inside is a little smaller than the other shop and has some indoor seats but a lot of nice outdoor seating. They have some pastries and cold drinks available for purchase in the front and they have their own beans. They have a list of house specialties but you can also make your own drink with whatever syrups you desire. I love that they offer alternative milks without an extra charge. I got an iced brown butterscotch which had toffee nut and caramel. I asked for almond milk and it was so creamy which I don't always get with almond milk. It was a bit on the sweeter side for me but still very delicious and silky with a good coffee flavor. I might ask for a less sweet drink the next time I go. The staff were all so laid back and friendly. They were really helpful and even offered to make a new coffee for another customer because it wasn't hot enough for her liking. They also gave me a discount for being a healthcare worker! I think they offer them for military, teachers, and healthcare. I really enjoyed the vibes of this place. It's a perfect shop to hang out at on a nice day but I can see it getting pretty crowded at times. I'll definitely be back to try some more specialties!

Two house, specialty lattes, and a blueberry scone. All delicious!

Who place is fantastic! The owner and all of his baristas seem to know everybody that comes through, and they are so friendly and getting to know you, your coffee order, and what you like. This neighborhood, coffee, joint service, delicious coffee, tasty pastries, and it is a great place to work or hang out.

We came on a Saturday (late afternoon to evening) and it was not packed, so our small child was able to have her pick of the tables in the outdoor area. She chose the L-shaped cozy furniture, and we occupied that and the adjacent table. They had a basket with blankets in them right by the door, which was a nice touch. Every single drink we had was delicious: lager ("crushable" -my husband), peachy peach (my favorite), strawberry kiwi crush, blood orange mint, and grapefruit splash. They all tasted exactly as described. For food, we ordered grilled cheese, chili smash burger, and both types of fries. My husband is picky about burgers and my daughter is picky about all food, but their chosen foods were a HIT. The service was great, and the ambiance was perfect. I know it's silly but there were so many small details that show the care that went into this place, from the tiles on the bar to the hand painted leaves in the bathrooms. They have a little free library, games, and merch in one area as well. Seriously so cute, and a new favorite spot for us for sure!

I got a cheesecake slice, brownie and mochi brick with coconut. Cheesecake slice was my favorite, its like ube halaya mixed with a bit of cream cheese and put into a pie crust. The mochi brick was ok, the cashier warmed it for me because he said its served warm, I took a few bites in the car while it was still warm, wasn't blown away, so I let it cool. When I got back to it later it was already back to room temp, I liked it better that way. The ube halaya brownie would have been good fresh but what I got looked and tasted old. Like when you leave brownies out for a few days how the edges and top start getting hard. Thats probably what happened here. It felt like this brownie had a shell casing around it. I ended up peeling the hard parts off to taste it but I threw most of it away.

I guess given my age, I might be the Boba Madam lol. Ive had boba long before it became trendy in the US and the only place you could get a boba milk tea was in Taiwan. How I remember those holiday trips and never wanted to come back. Fast forward twenty more years and boba really started taking off once I was a grown adult and seeing them all around NYC. Its of much pride and joy that my ancestry is the place of boba. Ive had DaYungs in Phoenix and do like that they have fresh taro puree there and today when I came in here agter hot yoga, I tried a milk tea with taro puree and added boba, less ice and 30% sugar. I ordered at a contactless machine and before I could even finish checking in on Yelp, my drink was ready. This place is clean and not too much traffic when I came in. Its in a convenient location with a lot of restaurant choices in the area and ample parking. Drink was good, but still too sweet for me. Everything was good consistency and next time I'll just have to dial down the sugar even more. Id definitely return again, solid choice for a boba milk tea break!

I ordered the Roasted Oolong Tea ($5.79) and Boba ($0.75), and I love that they have roasted oolong, which I don't come across often at other tea shops. They also have some seasonal and limited drinks on their menu. We were about the only ones there, so they made our drinks pretty quickly. Everything was pretty good, just that nothing was outstanding about it either. The boba was nice and chewy, and were pretty consistent. The tea itself was flavorful and not too sweet, although it's because I adjusted the sweetness to it. It's another nice boba shop to go to as an option, but I wouldn't say that I would go out of my way for it. I would say I would go here more for convenience if I'm already in the area.
