Jungle Tea is a true hidden gem for anyone who loves bold, refreshing drinks. Their menu bursts with creativity and the drinks taste just as good as they look. I tried a creamy iced coffee that was perfectly balanced--rich and smooth without being too sweet--and a strawberry milk tea layered with real fruit and chewy boba that was pure dessert in a cup. The shop itself is bright and inviting, with a fun tropical theme that makes you want to stay and hang out. The drinks are beautifully presented (hello, swirl of fresh fruit!) and you can tell they use quality ingredients. Staff were friendly and quick, making the whole experience even better. Whether you're craving a classic milk tea, a fruity specialty, or a pick-me-up coffee, Jungle Tea delivers. Highly recommend treating yourself to this flavorful oasis--you'll leave refreshed and already planning your next visit!

Always down to try a new boba spot, and I stumbled upon Jungle Tea while doing some research, glad I did. As soon as we walked in, we were warmly greeted by the staff, including the manager, Tony. I've been greeted before at plenty of boba shops, but this felt different. It wasn't just a quick hello; it felt like he genuinely wanted us there to experience what they've created, not just place an order and go. We were offered samples of their new Vietnamese coffee. We tried ube, egg, and banana. All were surprisingly good, and coming from someone who doesn't usually drink coffee, that says a lot. I ended up ordering the Crème Brûlée Purple Tiger (Ube Taro), and despite how sweet it might sound, it was perfectly balanced. Not overly sweet, just right. Honestly, the customer service alone deserves 4 stars, the drink pushed it to 5. Whenever I'm in the area, this will definitely be the first boba spot that comes to mind.

My partner and I wanted to try a new spot and stumbled upon Jungle area which turned out to be a great choice! Upon entering we were greeted by Tony who was super helpful and excited to share some of their new Vietnamese coffee drinks! I decided to get the banana cream but the egg and ube were also tasty choices! My partner went with the purple tiger Creme brûlée which was brown sugar milk tea with boba and Creme brûlée topping, soo good Customer service alone was amazing and the quality of the drinks followed right behind it, will definitely be coming back!

Super cute tea shop I happen to stumbled upon while I was in the mall for a dentist appointment. The service was great, the gal was patient with my indecisiveness. I order the Logan drink...so delicious! The place is nice and clean, great to hang out but problem is that there's no restroom for customers. I'll come back for sure!

WOW this is some of the best boba i've had in SD! This is definitely a gem in the camino ruiz shopping center, so don't miss out, you may drive right past it! The shop itself is adorable and definitely abides by the "jungle" theme. The menu has all the favorites and the classics. I went with the wintermelon milk tea with boba and was not disappointed. Definitely the best wintermelon milk i've had in SD and the boba was cooked to perfection. Would definitely return!

The customer service here is incredible! The two ladies working here (I didn't get their names) were so friendly and helpful. They offered samples of their cold foam coffees, which all of them were delicious. I ended up ordering the banana cream coffee with crystal boba. It had a great blend of sweetness and banana flavor. I will definitely be back to try the other drinks.

I'm really sad I didn't like this place after reading the reviews. It's such a cute, little boba spot and I really wanted to love it. Unfortunately, it missed the mark in nearly every way. My guy got the Avocado Smoothie, which I didn't like at all and he said it was barely passable. I got their Taro Smoothie, which had zero taro flavor and was way way too sweet. I felt like I was just drinking straight sugar. The only thing I genuinely liked was the dragonfruit popping boba. I would rather have a bowl of that than try another actual drink from here.

Crème Brûlée Purple Tiger is pretty good!Surprisingly not as sweet as I thought it'd be given that it's a crème brûlée drink. The ube and taro worked really nicely together! Staff were super sweet. Drinks took a little bit longer than the average time, but it was worth the wait! You can tell there was care put into the drink. Minus one star because it unfortunately didn't not have WiFi, so not the best to study or work :( It's still a cute little grab n go shop!

Jungle Tea in Mira Mesa is a little boba shop with a playful, tropical palm tree theme. I ordered the taro boba and was pleasantly surprised by how smooth and well-balanced the flavor was. They have a good selection of drinks that go beyond just the classics, with some unique flavors and toppings you don't always find. One sip of that taro boba and I was sold. If you're in the Mira Mesa area and craving a fun, quick boba experience, Jungle Tea should be on your list. I'll definitely be back to try more of the fun flavors.

Enjoyed trying this boba spot in Mira Mesa! I was in the area and spotted its great reviews on Yelp so figured I'd stop by. It's located in a small shopping center with easy parking, very inconspicuous. The inside is very cute though and seasonally decorated. I had no idea what to order but the gal working the cashier was happy to provide a few recommendations. I ended up going with the Red Tiger at her recommendation, which was some sort of strawberry drink with a crème brûlée topping. They were unfortunately out of boba when I was there so I went with the strawberry jelly topping which had a nice texture and good flavor. One small downside is that the menu doesn't list what's in the drink, which would be helpful for some of their more speciality items. However the staff is helpful and was happy to elaborate. I would definitely return to try some of their other drinks. They had "bursting dragonfruit boba" on the menu too which sounded super interesting - Next time!

It felt like the cup was filled with ice and then put the coffee in. Don't get me wrong, the drink was good and the coffee was strong. The other drink was the Creme Brulee Latte. If you like the sugar un-bruleed, this is the drink for you. I saw the top was torched for a few seconds, but the drink was still in the tiny sugar crystals. They don't have a lot of seating inside the cafe, but there are lots of tables and chairs outside at the plaza area. We were incredibly happy and super impressed with every single thing we got--from the drinks, to the desserts, to the famous halo-halo. Everything was delicious and perfectly balanced in flavor; none of them were overly sweet or bland. Here's everything we tried: ORIGINAL HALO-HALO: 9/10 This one was the more traditional version, having the brown sugar milk base with ube ice cream on top. It was really good, a little more on the sweet side. But I just loved and preferred the upside down version more. UPSIDE DOWN HALO-HALO: 10/10 This one had the ube base with vanilla ice cream on top. I loved this one so much more than the original. I really liked how the ube flavor stood out. I just think this one was more balanced compared to the original. UBE MATCH LATTE: 9.5/10 I love that the ube flavor was prominent enough here that you can really taste it with the matcha. None of the two overpowered the other--it was the perfect balance. It wasn't too sweet either. I also appreciate that they did not charge an additional fee for any of their milk substitutes. UBE BUTTER BAR: 9/10 This dessert tastes *so much* like the ube halaya we have and LOVE in the Philippines. Ultimate *chef's kiss*! UBE CRACK CHEESECAKE: 9.5/10 Creamy and luscious with a really good amount of ube flavor! Would gladly have another piece of this dessert, or five. UBE LECHE FLAN CUPCAKE: 7/10 I had high hopes for this one, but the leche flan on top was not as soft and bouncy as a leche flan should be. I found it a bit dry, like it was sitting out for way too long. The cupcake was okay--good ube flavor, but a bit dense and dry too. MILO CUPCAKE: 9.5/10 This one was really good--the cupcake was moist and fluffy with a great amount of chocolate flavor. I think the Milo was only in the icing, but I only got a slight hint of it there. Still very very tasty though! Overall, this was by far the best and most Filipino-tasting ube I've ever had here in the US--and we've had a lot of ube here. Will definitely be back!

I stopped by because it's super close to the freeway and I just wanted a quick drink before heading back south. Sunday around 4:30 the music was good, the place was clean, and the workers were friendly. There's a lot of seating inside and outside, plus board games if you want to hang out or study. Ordering was easy with the kiosk too. I got a jasmine milk tea with boba and asked for less sugar and less ice. The drink came out pretty fast and the cup design was actually cute and different from what I remember. I didn't try it until I was already back on the freeway and the first sip was honestly confusing. The jasmine flavor was super faint and watered down, but then it tasted sour. Like really sour. Not in a tea way, more like something went bad. It genuinely tasted off. I couldn't even finish it. I took maybe three sips and threw the whole thing away, which sucked because I was already driving and couldn't go back. That's the main issue. With how many boba places are in Mira Mesa, you can't be serving drinks like that. If it was just bland that's one thing, but tasting sour like that feels like a bigger problem. It honestly made me question the quality. I'd skip this spot for now. There are way better and more consistent options nearby.

Be prepared for hard parking during peak hours (lunchtime) and possible lack of seats (especially during schooltime). DRINKS It is RARE to find a shop whose matcha is on par with its coffee; normally, one is better than the other. Easy Does It, or EDI as we affectionately call it, is pro at BOTH. With coffee served from Provecho, matcha from Nami and hojicha from Paru??? You just hit a trifecta of GOOD good. Our Typical Order: 1) Iced Earl Grey Latte - omg, I LOVE the earthiness that the earl grey syrup brings to the matcha. Matcha, to me, is either too grassy or too sweet; the earl grey syrup makes it a perfectly earthy balance. 2) Honey Cinnamon Latte - how good could a standard coffee shop latte be, you ask? They have the HCL at almost every shop, and it's not usually standout. EDI, again, blew expectations wide open. Their HCL is balanced: sweet without being saccharine; and you can actually taste the cinnamon. 3) Hojicha Latte, Hot - omg, there was a time when I ordered almost one of these A DAY. Again, another sleeper - if you like the taste of coffee but can't take the caffeine (for a late night drink, perhaps), a hojicha is a good choice. It has that grounded taste that coffee gives, and the hot version of it is like a HUG for your mouth and stomach. They also have cool inventive flavors like the Matcha Cloud, the Coconut Cream Cloud (which is a coffee cloud on top of coconut water, I hear it's refreshing), so you'll never get tired of the drinks they have here. I also want to mention that they do serve wine and beer, too... so there's something for everyone! FOOD Spend any time in a coffee shop and know... you're gonna get hungry! Thankfully, EDI has open-faced bagel sandwiches AND pastries here, all of which look mighty tasty; all of which I cannot partake in, since I am gluten free. But ohhh, gluten warriors unite! Thanks to the partnership that is Jacob of Made for Mei Mei Mochi (aka the protein mochi) and Easy Does It, you'll have your PICK of 5 different flavors of homemade, chewy, ooey, DELICIOUS MOCHI -- SANS added sugars and preservatives you normally find in the store. I'm telling you, I don't normally like mochi (it tends to be so sweet) but I love the texture. And Made for Mei Mei hits it all! Flavors include: 1) chocolate hazelnut -- which tastes like Ferrer Rocher, yum 2) ube 3) green tea / red bean 4) black sesame 5) pb&j (yes, he's stocked peanut butter & jelly, a fan-demanded flavor) My favorites are #1 and #4; sometimes I go for #2 and #5 to mix it up. Either way, I spend WAY too much on these tiny li'l treats I might as well become an early investor. AMBIENCE This place is perfect for computer work as light doesn't directly fill the whole space. I like a li'l shade when I'm staring at a bright computer screen. There are two rooms: front and back; the back is a li'l darker and more chill vibes than the front. I also appreciate that they have a free bookshelf (just replenish it with your own!), plus a few magazines scattered around (for decoration, but I still browse). I miss when coffee shops had analog media, especially for when we don't want to be glued to our screens. EXTRA CREDIT Easy Does It also offers their shop as space for community events. From mahjong with No Ambition Tile Club to wine and jazz nights IN SUM THANK YOU Easy Does It ~ Grace, Nancy, the sister I haven't met, Eugenia, and the entire team ~ for creating a lovely third space where I can work, enjoy my snacks / drinks, meet friends and co-work, and have a great conversation. You make it so easy to feel welcomed, and I'll forever be grateful for you :)
