Perfect course to practice your short game. I've been coming here since middle school and the place has not changed, except for extra green for soccer golf. The longest hole is about 150 yards so you can really just get by using 3 clubs total. The only downside is how cramped the holes are so it's easy to have some close calls. read more

This is a fun little golf course for the price. Close to home, open to the public, and unpretentious par 3 action for golfers of all ages and skill levels. The pro shop is staffed by nice folks who understand this isn't Augusta or Pebble Beach, yet take their job seriously with the appropriate amount of jocularity and professionalism. There is a decent driving range and putting green... I often wonder if folks don't just come here to use those facilities exclusively. The course is not complicated, and at times, a little municipal-feeling. Greens and fairways are what you would expect for twenty dollar walkin' golf, and the marshal will give you grief if you're acting like a punk or an idiot. Kudos for that! On the back, the scintillating view of the Rio Hondo bike trail, Pecks Pit "lake", the concrete storm drain, a grade school, and some unincorporated Arcadia backyards complete with yapping dogs round out the ambiance. No matter-- if you take a deep breath, enjoy a long draught from your cold tall boy, and state up at the sycamore trees, you'd swear you were at Bushwood playing with Ty Webb. Be the ball, Danny. Decent par 3 course with friendly staff. Driving range does get really busy to the point people will put their golf bags and a bucket of balls behind you and wait for you to finish, so you're kinda being rushed to finish. I have noticed on several occasions that kids will take up stalls and leave their gear there, while they are out running around playing on the putting green, this is super frustrating when you're trying to find an empty stall to play on. Seems like parents don't watch their children. Last thing is there are no basic rules enforced on the course. Some people have no etiquette or respect for others. I was stuck behind a group of like 6 that took forever to finish up the first couple holes. Took me about 50 minutes to play the 1st and 2nd hole because they were backing everyone up. An hour in, i was still waiting to play the 3rd hole so i turned around and left. The pro shop gave me a complimentary bucket which was nice but i was there to play on the course. Hopefully they start enforcing basic rules on the course and on the driving range to keep people playing. Not sure I'll be back. read more

I have been coming to this golf course for quite a few years. I often appreciates that there is such an affordable range for an average golfer like me to practice. There were times that I drive to the course and the range was either temporary closed for out if balls, ball machine broke etc.... we would just waited patiently or, leave if the wait time was too long. We understand that things like that could happened. However, this morning, Dec 26th, at around 9.40 or so, I walked in and found that the ball machine was locked, I also saw the young guy that worked as a ball picker was locking up the gate to the back of the ball machine. I asked if there s no ball and he said the ball machine broke and left. I looked around, there were only no more than 10 golfers practicing, and the field looked clean out. Where were all the practice balls?? After the closed down on the 24th and 25th? I was disappointed and left. I was hesitating to write this bad reviews since I am one of tge regular, I know almost every staffs, I took my golf lesson here and I am the elite member. But I do feel that someone might not be doing the job, at least today. I am sure there were balls at the back if not already loaded in the machine. I suggest the manager to look into thus mornong incident. There were quite a few of us left without knowing why..... read more

I come here once a week to work on my golf game. Brian, Doug, and the staff are amazing. I see the friendliness of the staff on how they interact with the guests. They laugh and joke and give pointers on how to improve on your game. The course itself is good. If you're looking to play 18 holes while staying local, Par 3 is the way to go! Been coming here ever since I was a kid when I started golf back in 2000 and recently I feel like this range had some significant upgrades. Also it is the best driving range in the area in my opinion. Here are the reasons why.. -There are many targets to aim for on the range which varies from metal targets to flags. -The balls are not flight controlled. -You can practice the driver, woods, and long iron unlike Rancho Duarte Golf Course. -Mats are in great condition with just the right amount of cushion. -The hitting area is leveled unlike Santa Anita Golf Course and Rancho Duarte Golf Course. -Love the vibe and the music on the range. -Best beer selection I had ever seen at a golf course. The place does get extremely crowded from 7pm to close. Which means that I am probably not alone in regards to thinking that this is the best driving range in the area.. Lastly, I never thought about posting a review for this facility in the past because the personal were simply normal. However my last trip back, a gentleman by the name of Tim ( I believe he is the general manager) checked my friends and I in. It was my friends first time at Arcadia Golf Course and Tim took his time to explain where everything was at at the course and it made us feel very welcomed. HUGE recommendation for this range. All the employees including Bryant, Tim and Doug are very friendly and always make sure their customers are having a great time. Their range is great with constant upgrades here and there, even targets with prizes!! Their Par 3 has always been one of my favorites, great for short game practice. Their new weekly scrambles tourneys are tons of fun and I definitely recommend a try, and of the prize pool is definitely worth the experience. read more

My brother and I made a reservation on a Friday afternoon for Saturday tee off at noon. We were happy to see that we weren't getting forced to pair with another random group during this pandemic. They're doing a great job enforcing social distancing among the guests and there's plenty of signage around the entrance area. Half the people on the course were playing foot golf. These groups were generally larger so we ended up having to wait a bit before moving on to the next hole. Everyone we encountered on the course was friendly. Lastly, literally all 18 holes are par 3 so it's great for working on your short game. read more

Came here the day before Thanksgiving because my buddy got a good deal on Groupon. For $22 we got an 18-Hole Round of Golf For Two, with Two Draft Beers, and Two Sleeves of Nike Golf Balls. We threw down a couple more bucks for a cart just to make sure that we finished up in a timely manner. A large bucket of balls cost me $12 and the driving range was fairly empty. After finishing off the bucket, getting our beers, golf balls, and cart, we were on our way. My only complaint is that some of the holes are a little hard to spot from the tea box. But I guess that has to do with being new to the course. The course itself is well maintained. On another note, they have soccer golf at this course. The only people playing during our round, were the two young kids playing alongside the two some behind us. Lastly, I wanted to give a special shutout to the gentleman working in the pro shop. He was very personable, friendly, and couldn't have been any nicer. This place is worth the visit if you are in the area. read more

This course is great for beginners. The longest hole is about about 125 yards. My biggest issues about the course are the greens. The greens felt inconsistent across all 18 holes. Additionally, the course is COVERED in s**t. This is the green of the 3rd hole. read more

Came to this place last weekend for footgolf or soccer golf, whatever you want to call it. Its almost hidden. Small course that runs with golf course. The course is ok, nothing to fall in love with, but for the fee, I would think that it would be better. Been to other places that has more to offer for the price. The service day of was great, friendly and helpful. But the day I called to inquire, a male answered and he didn't seem to know that he is in customer service, so his sarcastic and irritating attitude is bad for business. Arcadia golf course is fun and friendly for all golfers! 18 holes available including a driving range. They have a small lobby that offers alcoholic beverages and some food. The prices are fair and they also FOOTGOLF. For those who are wondering, FOOTGOLF, is golf with an actually soccer ball. You use your leg strength and accuracy to kick a ball into a special soccer ball hole! Very fun and organized. The price is a bit under $20 and they provide a special footgolf map to track scores! My friends and I enjoyed the experience. We rented a golf cart and had a blast going from hole to hole. The golf coarse is shared between golfers and foot golfers. Some areas are a bit tight so you gotta be accurate. Overall fun and for a group of friends. read more

This review is not about the course itself but more focused on the conduct of one single employee. Came here to meet up with friends for some golf and after the warm up, a few of us went inside to get ready to pay. 4 of us total and as we walk toward the starter from the putting green area, I can clearly see the employee - 19 years roughly, Asian. wearing a pink/salmon colored sweater and at least ONE douchey ear ring on his left ear. You know the type. I don't make stereotypes, I just see them. He was just staring out the window, doing absolutely nothing as clearly as "nothing" can be described. Nevertheless, the look on his face when we were walking in was clearly, "ahhh dammit.. Now I have to work." Those reading this know exactly what I'm referring to. My GF and I asked if there are any tee times avail as a courtesy and respect of scheduling. It was pretty open that evening so we were able to go out and play without waiting. He asked for every players first and last name. My GF asked if its necessary for everyone's last name as 3 of the 4 players have last names that consist of more than 6 letters. Not exactly efficiently using time if we have to spell out every single last name so we just keep it simple. On we go with the first names. No eye contact whatsoever. All we heard was, "next player....next person... " A crystal clear tone of attitude with every single comment that came out of his mouth. One of my other friends in "kitchen" area even commented on his attitude. My friend asked about the kitchen and the starter's answer? "It's closed already..." Here's the thing - we all have choices. It was obvious that he didn't want to help us. It was obvious he didn't want to be there. It was obvious that if there were a supervisor or manager present, we would have received a different time of treatment. You want to take your anger and frustrations out on people who want to enjoy companionship with their friends and jealous because you're working alone in a pro-shop, grow the F up. Don't want to work there? Don't work. It's very simple. I've been here on a weekly basis. I've seen most employees doing their jobs responsibility except this kid. I don't have the name, but I hope the manager can look into this situation my friends and I were presented with. Saturday evening of March 9, 3019 at approx. 5:30PM. I hope other regulars who come to this course do not experience the same type of customer service that my friends and I had. Why 2 stars? At least the practice mats were above par and the range balls were above average compared to some other ranges. read more

What a disappointment Arcadia 3 par has become. I was so happy to get out of the house & come out & play golf with my 10 year old son. It was his first time & we were surrounded by people who completely are disrespecting the game. People drinking & smoking marijuana blatantly & this new idea of allowing soccer to go on simultaneously. WOW!! Golf is suppose to be a quiet sport not a tailgating party. I grew up in this neighborhood playing golf here & it is now a complete disgrace. I understand businesses are going through tough times however, allowing this disrespect is shameful & not the way to to succeed. Golf has a proper etiquette & it is not honored here at Arcadia 3 par. I also understand drinking & having a good time while golfing but this was over the top disgraceful. Have fun Arcadia 3 par cleaning up the mess of a bunch of drunks who cant even dispose of their drinks properly or turn in their carts . So sad!!! We won't be back! read more

2 stars I think for the green and inexpensive monthly membership for 2 buckets of balls everyday. If you are a member for $39.99/month, pls check your credit card bill monthly. My friend just found out they gave her an automatic $10 raise lol.....and had to call multiple times to resolve the issue( manager never called her back). My key didn't dispense the second bucket of balls. The wonderful stuff and manager questioned and questioned me with serious attitude like I was trying to cheat on a bucket of practice balls....really? Quite a lot clueless situations have happened. I don't know what has been going on inside this place. I have met some nice people working here but things are just getting more and more interesting...... Bottom line, cheap practice place with cheap service controlled by cheap management. Go have fun and take care of yourself:) read more

30 ports into a well-maintained grass range. The grass is still off limits for play, but they take 3-4 hours every Tuesday to maintain it. The range isn't available until 9am on those days. Periodically, the range is also closed in the morning on other days to maintain the unplayable green. The range can be very busy in the afternoons. read more

I've only been to the range here and much quieter and better range in my opinion than the Almansor one. Younger and non-experienced golfers choose to go to Almansor while at Arcadia, it's quieter and not a lot of young teenagers trying to whack the ball. Plenty of spaces here but does get busy. They also offer an area to teach young kids to play which is great. Become a member by paying $40 a month and get discount to the Par 3 course and two buckets of range balls everytime you visit. They are also large buckets so usually a bucket is good enough for me everytime I go. I tend to get tired after a bucket. I like the mat here compared to Almansor's. Also on some days, they let you hit off the grass. read more

I've been going to this golf course for about a half a year and I have to say that the staff here is consistently amazing and attentive, Brian is the man! The greens are always in good condition and the driving range is done well with multiple targets and flags to aim at. It does get quite busy around 6PM if you're going to the driving range, and the course does get backed up from time to time as it is beginner friendly. However, if you come at the right times it really is worth it. I would suggest if you plan on golfing a lot to look into their monthly plans as it is extremely worth it! read more

I just witnessed very considerate act of kindness on the part of a employee here. A young male employee offered a large cup of iced water to a gentleman who appeared very much in need of hydration. It did not appear to me that this gentleman was even a customer . The gentleman eagerly accepted and seemed to very much appreciate the random act of generosity. First time playing foot golf! I had a great experience and it was so much fun! I give this place 5-stars for even having this sport. The worker explained all the rules for us and the course (18-holes) is pretty easy to follow. It took me and three other people about 2 hours to finish the course. I only wish that the prices would be more reasonable. $15 per person for 18-holes and an additional $5 to rent a soccer ball. It was a good first time experience, although I am discouraged to come back only because of the price. I recommend having some sort of loyalty card/program where if you come a certain amount of times, you get a lower rate. Or a punch card where you pay a lower rate and get it punched for each visit so each visit is $10-12. read more
