Went to the restaurant for a late lunch on Friday. We had 2 Polish Platters and potato pancakes. Food was fine. Decided to get 2 orders of Tiramisu and an Apple Cake to go. We came here after being in the area at H Mart shopping and wanting comfort food on a chilly rainy day. YUM! We were one of two tables eating in that day and were delighted by all the options. I had stuffed cabbage in tomato sauce, husband had pork cutlet and potato dumplings. One kid got chicken tenders and another went with a giant bowl of soup and a plate of potato cheddar pierogi. I really loved my meal and the service here! The place is small but very cute and authentically decorated. I got husband and wife vibes from the staff, they were both super considerate and friendly. I started with an appetizer of grilled sheep cheese. The cheese is good quality and the accompaniments of bacon and (I think) cranberry relish really made for a tasty bite. I went with the polish plate for my entree. This might be the best polish plate I've ever had! The perogies were done just right, the potato pancake was huge, and the sausage was great as well. I'm not a big sauerkraut fan but this iteration is fried which makes a big difference, I loved it. The stuffed cabbage was probably the best part. I have always loved Polish cuisine, but finding a restaurant that exceeds expectations in highlighting all the wonderfully earthy, rustic flavors along with having cooks who take pride in and have a love for everything brought to the table can be daunting. Arcadia not only fulfills the above but surpasses them in every regard. There is a great deal of love and care here, and it reveals itself perfectly from the beautifully decorated, colorful walls to the exceptional service to each and every spectacular item on the menu. I have dined here many times with my best friend and loved every moment we visited. Recommended here is the sour rye soup that is as comforting a snuggling in a warm blanket. The goat cheese and bacon appetizer is also a standout. I highly suggest the pork cutlet which is an enormous, succulent beauty draped in a superior breading that is flavorful and fried perfectly. I had this a few times and am already addicted to it. Plus, all the sides are ideal companions. Love the cucumber salad and roasted potatoes with dill. Please do not pass up their lusciously warm apple pie slices and kolaczki which are far superior to anything store bought. I also want to mention our server, Alicja, who is magnificent! She has such a lovely smile and greets her customers with warmth and sincerity. Alicja is attentive and a consummate professional yet has a genuineness which is truly charming. She makes our dining experiences a complete joy. There is just something about people who love to cook traditional recipes carried down from their family members. The place is tucked away inside a little strip mall and easy to miss if you don't know where it is, but it's surprisingly spacious inside for the space it has. After reading several good reviews about Arcadia I decided to try in for myself. I frequent European restaurants, Polish, German, Bulgarian etc. last month I was in krakow Poland so I know my polish food. I ordered the pork meat balls with mushroom gravy. It came with mashed potatoes and cucumber salad. The meat balls were very hard, I had difficulty cutting one apart. The mushroom gravy didn't taste much like mushrooms, in fact I didn't see any mushrooms in the gravy. The mashed potatoes and cucumber salad was good. Another member if our party ordered the mushroom soup, the soup tasted good there wasn't a mushroom in the soup. Other polish restaurants have fresh mushrooms in their soup. We also had perogis. They were good. I don't like to leave bad reviews, I believe in giving everyone a chance and the benefit of doubt. Maybe it was an off night there. Our server Kasia was very nice and accommodating. It's questionable as to whether we will return. read more

Today I tried the meatballs in mushroom gravy, potato dumplings, and coleslaw for the first time. All were excellent. The coleslaw has a little touch of horseradish in it, which gave it an extra little zing! My husband had the stroganoff, potato dumplings, and cucumber salad. He said his was great, too. As was the beer. (I'm not sure what brewery, they just brought him a big golden glass of Pilsner.) I can confirm that it was delicious. My beet salad and potaro pancakes were also delicious. And in enormous portions. I took more than half home. The only non-A+ item was the Hungarian (beef) goulash. The taste was good, though a bit bland, but the meat was tough and dry and a bit stringy. My guess is that they didn't brown it and then cooked it at too high heat. I don't know if maybe that was a one-off because someone was in a hurry or if that is their standard. Today I picked up a lunch for 3 people at this Polish restaurant . They offer traditional Polish cuisine that combines many dishes common for Eastern European countries . The portions are large and if you get your order to go , better ask to put all the sauces and sour cream on the side. Otherwise something like a potato pancake will get all mushy. Their Polish Plate was good . we also got goulash and cheese blintzes . That was enough to satisfy my craving for Polish food which is the ultimate comfort food if you came from those parts of the world . The interior is pleasant and the service was friendly . Delicious Polish food! To get a sample of their offerings, I highly recommend their Polish plate which comes with sausage, sauerkraut, potato pierogi, stuffed cabbage, and a potato pancake. Was in the area for late lunch, and thought we would try this restaurant. You enter from the parking lot and walk through a long hallway before you enter the actual restaurant. They were open for indoor seating, even though the sign on the entrance door stated differently. We were immediately greeted and offered a table. The menu is in polish and english which is always nice. The tables are beautifully set with a large placemat and flowers. They start off with rye bread, liver pate snd sweet gherkins served in on a cute tray with glass jar. My husband had the borscht soup with meat dumplings. It was very good and there were many meat dumplings. The price was $7.00. He had the golabki (stuffed cabbage) with mashed potatoes and coleslaw. Each dinner comes with a choice of hot and cold side. The golabki were served with a tomato sauce, mushroom sauce was another option, and the cabbage was tender. The portions of the hot sides were very generous. I had the meatballs with potato dumplings and side of beets. The meatballs were mini meat loaves and very good. Often polish food uses lots of dill that can over power the other flavors and theirs did not. We also had a side orfer of potatoe and cheese pierogies. The blend of sweet cheese with potatoes was perfect. All of the food was beautifully presented and the server was very proud when it was served. The ambience is great. They have decorated. It's so cute inside. The service was fantastic. My large party of 10 had finished dinner. We were the last ones out of the restaurant. I realized I lost an earring when I got to my car. The waitress or owner I don't know was going to her car I called to her she answered. I told her my earring dilemma, saying please keep an eye out for it. I will call tomorrow. She went back and opened up the restaurant and helped me look all around our table and even in the parking lot. She was more concerned about helping me find my earring then she was about going home. The food is fantastic. It was a little different from the Polish food I grew up on and also had at restaurants like White Eagle and other Polish restaurants but it was all very good.
