He ordered a sandwich with some stale bread and a beef with no hot peppers. So naturally he went back in to complain. They did not replace the sandwich give him a sausage for the trouble and whoever is there also stated that the bread is stakel and that they don't have any more bread. If you knew that the bread was still why would you still serve it to people?!!! It's really disappointing because I see good reviews for this place and then this is what we experience.

I like that they don't have onions at the deli so it doesn't overpower everything else. My husband typically loves the club. They rolled a generous amount into a container and I used scissors to quickly and easily cut it. It was a perfect lunch and I have enough for another tomorrow! For $8, or $11 for a generous tuna scoop, you can't beat it. Staff is also quick and friendly at the deli, as well as checkout. You can find all kinds of things for the house or to gift someone whether it's food, a cookie jar, something imported from Italy, or a homemade meal. You'll find something for everyone.

I added a drink and black and white cookie to complete the meal. The service was great. My only issue was that they don't have seating or a table. So I had to bring it back to my car to eat. Though a bit obscure and hard to find, those who want a good sandwich know where to go. There is a curated selection of Italian, French and German sandwiches. This was my first visit so ordered a Cipriani with Italian mortadella, marscapone(!), arugula, pistachios and balsamic. It was the marscapone that sold me, but this was generously portioned and (let's be honest) messy for me to eat because the sandwich was piled high. I had to take half to go. I heard a few orders for the Gusti dal Nord (prosciutto, Gorgonzola, arugula and pear), and that sounds enticing as well. The bread is fresh and crusty. The place itself has a cool old school Italian deli feel with plaid tablecloths, and the staff told me they just opened in June 2025. I grabbed mine to go since I was working the convention center, but it looked like a cozy spot to sit down too. It's a little hidden, but totally worth seeking out. Definitely one of those spots I'll stop at again when I'm in the area.

When you walk inside there is a runner leading up to the counter with their case of delicious looking eats and a platform above with an old Indian motorcycle perched looking over the place. To the right of the counter are some toys for the kids, including a kids motorcycle and other funs toys to keep the kiddos busy while their parents enjoy a magically concocted coffee drink by the shops artisans. There are comfy little sitting areas composed of oversized furniture from your parents basement. The front has a few racks of leather jackets that feels like your at The Alley's northern location. They do have some hats and apparel for their own shop and I almost bought a hat. On the left side, they have another seating area, but it looks more like a table in a cozy kitchen than a sitting room. It's quaint no matter where you look or sit. Lastly, their drinks and food are quite good. With all the stand alone coffee places popping up, Grinds N Gears is one of the cooler places and I don't mean hipster.
