With a conspicuous entrance, the Guild House has a great menu that will suit anybody's needs. They're clearly used to getting a lot of business dinners as they're set up for multiple large tables. Service was great, food and cocktails were delicious. Portion size was perfect to actually fill you up and not leave a lot of leftovers.

I came here with a couple friends and we loved it. My friends don't like to venture downtown much but they loved it here and they shocked me when they said they would love to come back here. So that is very impressive to me. The place itself is very clean and the decoration is beautiful, it's a great addition to the short north. Our server was lovely, she knew everything about the menu and was able to answer multiple questions surrounding the menu that we had. She was very sweet. The food was lovely, I got the sea bass croquettes and carrot cake for dessert. Neither of them disappointed. They also have a great wine selection, we all split a bottle so you must all come here if you haven't yet!

BEST brunch of 2025! I've visited the Guild House on a taste of the Short North food tour, so I was expecting a good time. It's a beautiful restaurant with chandeliers and good lighting. Our server recommended the lobster toast, but we ordered the dumplings as an appetizer as well...they were great. The lobster toast was light but crispy and full of flavor. The poached egg added a creamy element, I ate every bite. I'd love to come back for dinner :)

I highly recommend this place for a date night. The service was great! They were able to accommodate me at a table even though I had a bar reservation. The food was good. I recommend the carrot cake! It costs around $111 with tip. Come if you enjoy fine dining without it being too fancy. I was dressed casually. Parking is available on the streets.

Fantastic dining experience. In town for work and the Guild House was a recommendation. We didn't have a reservation but we were sat right away. Our waitress was fantastic. She was very helpful and willing to answer all our questions. She was extremely attentive to our table and ensured that we got our orders and anything else we needed. We shared a couple of appetizers which were delicious. My dinner was fantastic. Great seafood with a great presentation. I also got one of their desserts which was pretty large and tasted great The atmosphere of the restaurant is very welcoming and comfortable seating. Great job. Will be back.

Overall great meal and great time at guild house. I've been here several times, and this was probably my favorite time here! The food was excellent- we shared the dumplings (must get, absolutely divine), the Brussels sprouts, and the burrata toast (probably my least favorite of the 3 but still good) as starters. I got the Cavatelli with duck confit for my main course - this was lovely. My personal preference would be with fewer tomatoes, but if you're a fan of tomatoes, this dish is wonderful. The sauce was deliciously creamy and the quality of the duck was fantastic. Dessert was the miss for me. I ordered the cherry chocolate Sunday. The ice cream was supposedly dark chocolate, but it still seemed like milk chocolate to me. The cherry flavor was nice, but I found myself wishing I had gotten the carrot or poppy cake (as others at my table did). The ambiance was nice, the seats were comfortable and the noice level was good for a group of 5. Service was 10/10 phenomenal. Our server was wonderful and quite attentive throughout!

Need to have a quiet yet tasty breakfast meeting near the Convention Center in downtown Columbus? The Guild House is a great option where you can make reservations and choose from a mix of expected standards and creative combos. My latke with salmon was the latter that did not disappoint. If you are super hungry, maybe the pork cheek, potato and two egg hash is a hearty choice and what my dining companion opted for. The coffee was a little too good and plentiful as I had to say no to the offer of a fourth cup just to avoid getting the shakes later today. And I should have gotten the name of our waiter who was attentive without being a nuisance and made good recommendations to get us to our two excellent choices.

Great location and nice decor. Service was really wonderful and very attentive. Food was just okay in my opinion. Lobster toast was fine but not really a special dish. I would give this a try for dinner in the future but probably wouldn't return for brunch.

Stopped by for a business dinner. Amazing location, the service and food were spot on. The server was excellent he made sure we had everything we needed. The restaurant has a SOHO vibe so the decor was on point. The food we ordered was fresh and was amazing hats off to the chef. If ever in Colombus a definite place to stop by and enjoy!!

One of my favorite restaurants in the Short North, The Guild House does not miss. The modern ambience and excellent service makes this place great for a date night or a special occasion. Their craft cocktails and freshly prepared dishes are fantastic and they'll be sure to have something unique or different that you haven't yet had anywhere else. I highly recommend you come here if you haven't yet been!

Our family of six had dinner on Thanksgiving. The place was packed but we were seated at our reservation time. We had to finagle a bit to get Dad with his walker settled, but the staff was patient and kind with him. Our server Bobbie was fantastic! She was funny, endearing, and attentive for how busy she was. The volume of the room was energetic, but I could still hear conversations at the end of the table. It is SO nice that they offer a Prix Fixe Thanksgiving menu as well as the regular menu. My elderly father had Thanksgiving dinner and enjoyed it very much. The rest of us ordered off the menu. I read that there is usually a heavy hand with the salt, but our experience was all over the place with seasoning. Here are our thoughts: Hamachi Crudo - pretty, but not the best we have had. More flavor? Steak Tartare - fresh but a little on the acidic side. Served with plain toast points that we would have better if buttered and grilled. Beet Salad - very fresh with golden beets, crunchy quinoa, and a farm cheese cream base. I enjoyed it but this dish could have used more salt. Shagbark Grits - we wanted to just love this, but it needed salt as well. Oyster mushrooms - great batter and sauces, mushrooms cooked perfectly, but this dish was oversalted. Cavatelli - the flavor with the duck and sauce was delicious, but the broth was a salt bomb. Pork - perfectly cooked and seasoned. The cabbage was lovely. I would order this again. Pork Cheeks - this was our favorite dish of the night. Seasoned perfectly. The cheeks were so tender, and it was fun to eat with the spaghetti squash. It's a generous serving for an appetizer and I ordered it as a main. Sea Bass - perfectly cooked and wonderful. I only had one bite, but my sister loved it. We would 100% come back here for Thanksgiving when we are in town. They do a great job.

Haven't been able to stop thinking about this experience ever since I dined here. Upon walking in, i knew I was in for a treat. The restaurant was beautiful and felt refined without feeling stuffy. I sat at the bar and was greeted by two of the kindness, and helpful bartenders that talked me through the menu and suggestions. I started with the tartare which was absolutely delightful and could eat it every day. For my entree I went for the scallop dish that was beautifully presented and had a light but very balanced flavor. The broccolini I ordered as a side offered an excellent contrast of texture and flavor to the scallops and I highly recommend both dishes! Overall excellent experience! I would love to come back just for the atmosphere at the bar and have a few cocktails and appetizers. If you're not in the area, this place this definitely worth traveling for!

We were a little worried but decided to see it through. I'm so glad we did! Everything about our experience was amazing. Valet parking is available which is always a plus. Walking in you're well aware you're in an upscale restaurant. The lights are dim and the design is rich and romantic. We arrived early and sat at the bar while waiting for our table. The hostess and the bartenders were all very attentive and professional. The hostess came to get us when our table was ready and we were asked if we preferred the elevator or stairs -we opted for the stairs going in, after filling our bellies we took the elevator! Our booth was spacious and comfortable, shaped almost circular so that we could sit close together but large enough there is plenty of space for more people. Our waiter, Sam, and his assistant, Brandon, very promptly arrived and introduced themselves. They brought amazing rye & sourdough bread in a basket with 2 choices of butter. Sam was very knowledgeable about the menu and his recommendations were on par with what we had in mind. We both ordered half salads, I ordered the Freddie and my husband had the Iceberg Blue. Both fresh and flavorful, neither of us could choose a favorite. For our entrees my husband opted for the Steak Collinsworth and I chose the pork chops... we both were impressed with the pork chops. Very flavorful and juicy with just the perfect amount of charring. We also ordered mashed potatoes and creamed spinach. It was all delicious! My husband really enjoyed the creamed spinach and said it was among the best he's had. We were too full for dessert, but Sam treated us to a cupcake for our anniversary. The experience from beginning to end could not have been better. We were thoroughly impressed and will definitely be back!

I love Ted's Montana Grill but don't know why this location delivery service via DoorDash is so bad. I placed an order and received a confirmation email for a chili and loaded baked potato. The email confirmation was at 6:28 PM on Sunday, Aug 23 with a delivery time estimate of 6:50-7:09pm. The location of the restaurant is half a mile away. DoorDash sent someone within 15 minutes to go pick the order up. When the delivery person got there, they waited 15 minutes and had to leave for another order, then another DoorDash delivery driver arrived waited 15 minutes and had to leave, then a third DoorDash delivery driver arrived and was told it was gonna be 20 minutes so they had to leave then a fourth Driver and then a fifth Driver. No joke. When the fifth Driver was there I personally called Ted's explaining the situation and to ask if there was an issue with my baked potato and chili. Whoever I spoke with didn't even know there had been 5 doordash drivers waiting for the order or that anybody was waiting for the order. Meanwhile, he goes back to check in the kitchen and it's sitting there waiting to be picked up in the window. I received my order at 8:02PM. The driver sent photos of the restaurant and kitchen staff to show it wasn't even busy - be aware. They may not be your best choice for dinner if you are on a timeline, however, the chili & baked potato was delicious especially since I was starving after waiting an extra hour.
