We did a family photo mini-session with Hailey last month. It was the first time that we had taken professional photos with our 8 month old, and we were anxious about what would happen if our baby had a fit or was uncooperative for the limited time we had. Hailey patiently walked us through how to plan for the shoot and best practices to ensure a calm baby but also reassured us that she would have plenty of tricks up her sleeve if we did have a fussy baby. Fortunately, our child was well behaved the morning of and through the shoot. Hailey was also fantastic, keeping our baby cheerful with heart-warming interactions while also providing my wife and I with great prompts to capture our family love and energy. I knew Hailey from a local moms group and she did these super sweet Mother's Day mini sessions for us that came out perfect, and I'd kept her in mind ever since. Two years later, I finally booked a session for the three of us in the family, which we'd never done before. Hailey / Archer Inspired was amazing to work with, and our photos turned out amazing as well! We found Archer Inspired after looking at our Friends' wedding photos and seeing how well she captured the fun and love at their event, and we're happy to report she exceeded our expectations, and we would highly recommend her to anybody. My husband and I are not necessarily used to being the focus of photos, but Hailey made the entire process fun and comfortable and really brought out our best. She made the couple/family/group shots easy and smooth, and then the rest of the night she did a fantastic job capturing tons of great moments while we got to fully focus on enjoying our event and our guests. For our engagement photos, Hailey got every shot we could imagine and more, with a perfect blend of romantic and fun photos, as well as great photos celebrating everything from the detail of our rings to the natural beauty of the garden where we were holding our ceremony. For the actual ceremony, Hailey used the garden to the fullest, capturing a huge variety of elements and backgrounds. Our reception was at an interactive science museum, and she made the most of that venue as well, capturing tons of shots of our guests playing with the exhibits along with all the "traditional" photos like dinner and dancing. We also had a lot of smaller details we were really proud of, like our centerpieces and name cards and desserts with nerdy theming, and she made sure to get tons of pictures of all of that so we can appreciate those details forever. On top of the actual photos, Hailey was also basically a bonus wedding planner who gave amazing feedback on the timeline of our day. She gave great logistical tips on when and where to get our couple/party/family/large group shots, and she also gave fun ideas for the reception timeline and incorporating photography into the flow to actively improve the event. One of our favorite examples was staging a large group photo with all our guests on the dance floor, then immediately starting the music so everyone was already there and just started dancing. Hailey was both extremely organized and super flexible - we met over the phone a couple weeks before the big day to talk through the plan, then when the light and the timeline were cooperating better than expected day-of, she adapted with us on the fly to do our group/family/party photos early so we could enjoy even more of our cocktail hour. We also decided at the last minute to do two parallel aisles at our ceremony to walk down simultaneously, and Hailey rolled with the challenge and captured amazing photos of both sides.
