The waitress then came over and, in a confrontational manner, announced that we would be charged a $25 cake-cutting fee. The fee may have previously been mentioned to my wife, but I was not aware of it when I began serving the cake. I understand that restaurants have policies, and a calm explanation would have been enough. Instead, the situation was turned into an unnecessary scene during our son's birthday celebration. Then another large male employee came over, stepped directly into my personal space, and angrily asked, "Would you bring beer into a bar?" He got right in my face without first asking what had happened or allowing me to explain. His tone and decision to get that close were aggressive, disrespectful, and completely unprofessional. We ultimately paid the $25 fee even though the staff did not cut, plate, or serve the cake. The fee was frustrating, but the confrontational way the employees handled the situation was far worse. Families considering celebrating a child's birthday here should confirm every outside dessert policy beforehand. In our case, what should have been a joyful moment for our son became an upsetting experience. It did not leave us feeling as though families celebrating with children were welcomed or valued. A simple and respectful conversation could have resolved everything in seconds. Instead, their response changed the entire mood and ruined what should have been a special ending to our son's birthday dinner. The food may still be excellent, but a restaurant is remembered for more than its steaks. After years of loyalty, the aggressive and disrespectful way this was handled during our son's birthday has cost them our business. We will not be returning.

It was absolutely disgusting, and I immediately threw away the rest of my meal because I no longer felt comfortable eating any of it. I tried calling the store more than 10 times before someone finally answered. After explaining what happened, I was transferred to the kitchen manager. His response was, "Fosho, I'll put your name on a list and you'll get 10 wings on the house." How is that "on the house" when I had already paid for a meal that I had to throw away because of a food safety issue? There wasn't even a sincere apology or any acknowledgment of how unacceptable the situation was. This isn't an isolated issue. My family usually drives to the Murrieta location because we've consistently had poor experiences at the Menifee location. Orders are often incorrect, wait times are much longer than expected, and the restaurant always seems understaffed. I also contacted corporate to report the food safety issue. They assured me they take these complaints very seriously, but they offered no resolution. I asked for a refund or even a gift card so I could visit a different location, and I was told they couldn't do either and that the franchise owner would contact me. It's hard to believe these issues are taken seriously when customers are left without a meaningful solution. Based on my experience, this location has ongoing issues with food safety, customer service, and management. The work culture needs serious improvement through better employee training, stronger leadership, and higher standards for sanitation and customer care. The way this restaurant is being run is unacceptable, and until management takes real accountability instead of offering generic responses, I don't expect these issues to improve. Customers deserve safe food, respectful service, and management that stands behind its business when something goes wrong. Unfortunately, this experience and the way it was handled by both the store and corporate fell far below that standard. UPDATE: I received a voicemail from Reese after 6 p.m. Thursday four business days after reporting a hair in my food. Corporate told me the franchise owner would contact me, but after waiting that long, I had already handled the situation myself and disputed the transaction. I never even spoke with Reese. The lack of urgency over a serious food-safety complaint says enough. After seeing the ongoing negative reviews about this Menifee location, it's clear my experience isn't isolated. Customers deserve safe food, accountability, and timely customer service not generic apologies and four-day delays. I will not be returning to this location. Management needs to do better.

This place is pretty inconsistent with quality. And everything they give you is big enough for 2 people...I wish they offered smaller portions and lower prices. I end up spending enough for almost two meals and end up throwing half the food away. I like their veggie burger and their chocolate shake is the best I've had around here. They use real ice creams and I've seen them scooping the ice cream by hand through the drive thru window, so you know it's actaul ice cream. So, it's worth a try if you've never been there, but just make sure you're super hungry or have several people to feed. Came in yesterday for my first time to grab food. Ended up having a beer while waiting. Not because it was a long wait but I didn't know they had their own small bar inside. I understand that restaurants can get busy, and bathrooms can certainly get messy throughout the day. However, basic cleanliness and regular restroom checks are extremely important, especially in a restaurant where people are eating. A bathroom in that condition can really take away from an otherwise enjoyable dining experience. The frustrating part is that the food was genuinely good, so the restroom situation was especially disappointing. Red Robin has a lot going for it, but cleanliness should be part of the overall experience--not something customers have to brace themselves for before finding the restroom. Hopefully management takes this seriously and makes sure the bathrooms are checked and cleaned regularly. Great food deserves a clean place to enjoy it!

I arrived at the…read morerestaurant around 2pm on Friday, the hostess (Morgan) immediately sat me at a table of my choice, outside on the patio, overlooking the golf course, it was a beautiful day, sunny, mid 70s. I ordered the Fish & Chips and substituted the chips (fries) for mixed vegetables. I was craving clam chowder; I didn't see it on the menu, I asked Morgan if they had clam chowder, she said yes, (only available on Fridays), score! So, I ordered a bowl of Clam Chowder. The food arrived between 15-20 minutes. The fried fish (generous (2 X 4oz = 8oz) fillets of beer battered pollock) white, chunky/flakey, was fried to perfection. The mixed vegetables consisted of zucchini, carrots, red onions, no complaints. The clam chowder was good (different than the thicker/chunkier clam chowder typical to San Francisco that I'm used to, but still good, more savory). Midway through the lunch I ordered the Cajun Shrimp Pasta to go, and it was ready in about 10 minutes. All in all, I had a very good lunch experience at the Canyon Lake Country Club Bar & Grill (The food was delicious and reasonably priced (see attached menus), and the service was prompt and professional). I will definitely be a return customer and would absolutely recommend to anybody that hasn't yet tried the restaurant to drop by and give them a try. Note, speaking to the staff, it does get crowded in the evenings and they recommend making a reservation.

Highly recommend their Belgian waffle and breakfast quesadillas. Waffle was crispy and fluffy and the salted butter was on point! Quesadilla was delicious, super crispy and loaded with fillings. Our waitress was super helpful and friendly as well. Interior is a bit of an old school classic diner but everything was clean. This is a great spot in Perris for some breakfast or brunch!

I ordered breakfast and my friend ordered a patty-melt... they brought out my breakfast... 10-15 minutes later they brought out my friend's lunch... I was almost finished.. I told the waitress this is not acceptable... usually the cook will start with the item that takes the longest to prepare and then when that is almost finished the breakfast will be started they should come out together ... the waitress said that is not how her kitchen works‍ I think it's rude to eat in front of someone that is waiting for their food... But then mine would have been cold... It really Didn't seem to bother anyone at this restaurant except us...

He actually came outside and apologized sincerely, and made it right without me even having to ask. Jamaal was extremely empathetic, kind, and professional. The way he handled the situation made me feel genuinely welcomed and appreciated as a customer. Mistakes happen, but it's how you handle them that really matters, and Jamaal went above and beyond. The food was delicious, the service felt personal, and because of the way Jamaal treated my husband and I, we will definitely be coming back for more. Awesome employee and a great experience overall!
