Burgers are mediocre at best. The prices are a little high for the burgers you get. The patties are super thin, I was wondering where the tomato was on the burger so I opened it up and found a small almost green paper thinly sliced tomato. The only way they could have gotten it that thin was to cut it wat a deli meat slicer. Then both of our burgers were supposed to have cheese and neither did. I hate to write this but I can't sleep unless I speak up about what I witnessed. I went here because it's a local spot and I wanted to give it a try. So I ordered a beer and happened to witness the main cook grabbing a handful of sausages out of the freezer and he dropped one on the floor. He looked around and realize that I saw him accidentally dropped one. He walked back to grab something else but on the way back he picked up the dropped sausage and placed it with the other sausages on the counter. He directly looked to see if I was looking and I most definitely was. My mouth dropped just thinking there's people in the world like this. You would think he would just throw them away after noticing I witnessed it all. ordered the frisco boy burger only to be disappointed. I have ordered this burger many times in the past and it was absolutely delicious with no complaints. but tonight was a completely different story. asked for no tomatoes , and was very adamant about it. got some of the largest slices I've ever seen in my life. the cheese on the Texas toast was beyond hard, couldn't even bite the burger without grinding my teeth together and having half the contents slide out in the process. the fries were small and extremely flimsy, and my Dr Pepper was watered down to all hell. what a shame , I really enjoyed this restaurant and its location in relation to where I live, but this time absolutely sucked. read more

The most underwhelming "food" experience of my life. Never ever have I paid so much for such horrific food. This place makes McCrap a 5 star. Over $14 for a wet burrito. No drink, nothing else. They charge $3.50 for the sauce and sour cream. Was barely enough sauce to cover the burrito (but it was the ONLY part that had some flavor). Their salsa was a tasteless joke. The chips that came with it were stale. Stale freaking chips. How hard is it to keep chips fresh? Carne asada was overcooked and somehow all the flavor was extracted prior to serving (a special skill). It was mostly filled with black beans and rice. The rice was that crappy premade food service rice. Has the old corn, peas and Lima beans. Even cafeterias stopped serving that crap. Still waiting for ol' Archi to get that memo. Anyways, total waste of money. Save yourself and just eat roadkill. Has better flavor. read more

I want to highlight some recent excellent customer service received from the menifee location. I feel like people usually are only complaining on these reviews. I frequently order breakfast sandwiches for the family. Especially when we headed on the road or hosting a ton of people. Regardless of the wait the food is hot and fresh, real eggs real bacon and fresh when I receive it every single time. I rarely go inside but from the window View the kitchen seems clean. They do have a nice selection of beers and bar seating. My fiancé and I have gone a couple times late night just to getaway. This past weekend we had a challenging order of sandwiches and several special requests. Mustafa took our order and relayed the order perfectly back to me. Once we got to the window Mustafa checked the order, determined it was not right and made the kitchen correct each sandwich. He was so enthusiastic and ensured that not only were the sandwiches correct but labeled correctly. I was so impressed by him i had to write this review. That little gesture made a wonderful impression on everyone in the car. I do plan to frequent and hope Mustafa is available to serve us. Thanks again read more

SUPER OVERPRICED. All I can do is hope theyre paying their employees well. The food is pretty average. Got a large milkshake for $5.39 or $5.49.. not sure in what world they consider that a large ut def was the smallest large ive ever seen. Is this place under new management? I would say it's under NO management! Food is way overpriced. I waited in the drive up line for over 20 min before ordering. After waiting another 25 min with just 2 cars ahead of me ... the girl says can only make 1 gyro . So had to wait again to get a Philly cheesesteak. The fries were limp and extremely oily- the worst I have tasted- not edible! And this horrible meal for my son was $50. Never ever will try this place again. I am not happy at all for 2 reasons. I ordered a CA Breakfast Burrito with NO MEAT. Instead it looks like they put extra meat, and barely anything else! ( see picture) Also, why do I have to pay the same price when they are *supposed to be leaving out the most expensive ingredient?! I just wasted $11 and still left with nothing to eat. So after missing items from my order, I called the restaurant and spoke to an employee named Miguel. Despite me having an attitude, he was very kind and offered to remake the entire order. While we waited for our food inside the restaurant, we ordered an Oreo shake fully intending to pay for it. The same employee said not to worry, that it was on them. This is how every restaurant should treat their customers when they make a mistake. Employees with a positive attitude truly make a difference. read more

I was visiting a friend who just moved nearby and we were hungry and they said they drove by here a few times and wanted to check the place out. We came in here for a bite and wow, this place had a lot of interesting food(such as zucchini fries)! I can see why this is a local favorite, it is definitely a place for guys (portions are huge!) and greasy (which was perfect for us because we were moving stuff and cleaning all day). The servers brought food over our table too, that was nice since we were all pretty tired and hungry. I didnt expect this type of service at a fast food restaurant. She also came back several times to get sauce etc for us. We were so tired and we did not know exactly what we wanted, but she did it with a smile too. Not a place for you if you are on a diet. I ordered a cheeseburger without onion. I was told it only comes with lettuce mayonnaise and tomato. I said okay the menu says it includes thousand Island dressing, she said that's our golden cheeseburger. I said okay a golden cheeseburger without onion. That's all I ask for it's $2 more for a golden cheeseburger so apparently you're paying $2 for thousand Island dressing and a tomato. The order took about 15 minutes to arrive which I understand they say they're making each Burger individually but that seemed excessive. And, it came with onion. No attention to the detail and the burger wasn't any better than a cheeseburger from McDonald's or Burger King so no reason to pay $7.99 plus tax for this. Also no reason to return. read more

So, Chris Burgers in Winchester would definitely be my go-to over Archibald's, which is somewhat disheartening. I really wanted to LOVE Archibald's. Unfortunately, for what you get, they're overpriced (by about $1-2/item), have mediocre service, and just don't quite crack into that "must-go" category. We've eaten at this location twice - once on opening week (which was NUTS; I don't think they were anywhere close to prepared for the onslaught of Menifee, and how much everyone's starving for something new and different), and once about 3 weeks later. The first experience was not great, but I'm happy to forgive that. The place was so hyped, that you can't blame them. Second experience is what I base my review on; good food, subpar pricing. Ordered take-out (instead of waiting in the drive-thru), and they were average pace. Again, just about 1-2 minutes off of what I'd hope/expect they'd be. My wife got the bacon avocado burger with fries, and I got the Frisco Boy, both of which were good, but not amazing. Ordered the fries well-done (because who likes soggy/limp fries?), and they were similar to lite-well at In-N-Out. Not quite, but almost. Ranch was free and abundant (good!), and the chips/salsa freebies were nice (but their salsa is meh). Other than that, just one of those places that we'll randomly go to from time to time, but probably not something we'll be jonesing for on a regular basis. read more

Definitely a below par type of place. We've given this place a few fair shakes at winning our business and they disappoint every time. We've never gotten correctly cooked fries. Can you believe that? From a burger/fries place??!! Every time we order fries they are undercooked, dripping in oil, and raw. We've gone 3 times and this has happened every time. I'm not sure why their cooks can't correctly time pulling the fries out of the oil. They get it wrong every time. The workers aren't particularly friendly. They sort of act like they're overwhelmed and are annoyed that you're asking them to take your money. Contrast that with other burger places (ehem, In-N-Out) who are just down the road who make burgers and fries consistently perfect every time, deliver incredibly professional service time in and time out, AND ARE MUCH LESS EXPENSIVE, and I can't help but want to take my business elsewhere. This food is not worth the premium price you pay for it. And it doesn't seem fresh, even though there's a sign outside that says it is. To the manager who may be reading this: you gotta at least get these basics right! Maybe your cooks aren't trained right. Maybe you needed more time in a soft opening. You may be still in the middle of the initial traffic that comes from a new business opening, but you're not making much of a good impression, and everything is going to slow down soon. Start making consistently delicious food and treating your customers better! Hire people who will do that. That's all it takes! read more

Alrighty then, he gets me tacos first bite I realize I am eating the driest taco ever constructed by man topped with a mountain of lettuce. immediately had to raid the fridge for any sign of moisture. My wife and I decided to give this fairly new Archibald's a try once again, after being turned off in the past, feeling that they are way over-priced for what we got. We left this time feeling the same way - like we were taken advantage or even ripped off. On the plus side, cashier Jackie was great! Extremely friendly and seemed like she was really trying hard to take really good care of her customers. Very impressed with her. They are lucky to have her. In our opinion, Archibald's would have a something really good on their hands if they would take a serious look at their pricing. We were excited to try a new place nearby. Its a bit pricey for fast food. Cheeseburger waa $4 79 and a medium Pepsi is $2.89. I would compare flavors and freshness to In and Out. Fries were $2.99. Gave this place a try on 4/19/19 I ordered the Monster burger and a small fry, hubby got the DUI fries. My burger was pretty good the first few bites, the third bite I tasted something sweet and weird. It was the pickles, ewwww, I love pickles too. However, sweet pickles or bread and butter pickles, or whatever you want to call them, I find absolutely gross. I promptly removed them but kept tasting that gross sweetness randomly, so I didn't finish my burger. Fries were nicely seasoned but limp and undercooked for my personal preference. Hubby has been to the Archibald's in Chino and was quite disappointed with his DUI fries from this location. He said the fries tasted stale, but everything else tasted good. Ended up eating mostly the toppings because the fries were gross. So since I absolutely abhore sweet pickles I deducted one star, yes I hate them that much, especially when there was no mention of them on the menu we looked up before even heading to this place. Took another star away for the crappy fries. So my conclusion is that this place pry won't make it on our return list, bummer too because it's close by. read more

I ordered a double bacon cheeseburger and when I got home it only had one patty, so I called and they have such good customer service!
