This review is a few months overdue, but only because we have been busy enjoying our Arctic Spa every day! We came into the showroom repeatedly to look at different models and asked what felt like thousands of questions. During the entire process we felt no pressure, received honest and great information from Jen. She was stellar! They even delivered the spa on the agreed upon date even though it started snowing! Jen came to our house after the install to deliver the stairs herself! We had our first soak as a family with the snow falling around us later that night! Amazing! The saltwater system is so easy and low maintenance. We have called with only a few questions and Jen and the team have been super responsive, helpful and friendly. Do not buy a spa from Arctic Spa! I love the spas themselves and they also used to have good service on them. Since all service goes through HQ in Canada now it's a mess. Called about a noise last winter they sent a brand new tech who they told me actually then broke our jet motors. Have been trying to get it fixed since, they finally just came out, but then left the hottub empty and dirty for me to scrub, fill and test, guess what it is still broken! Which they would have known if they filled and tested it before leaving but they did not! read more

I went to three spa places locally to try and find a replacement spa heater element. I ended up going in to Artic Spa and was helped by a new inexperienced counter person whom was very nice but unknowingly rang me up for the wrong part at the register. Jen over heard the the price and questioned him and I mentioned it was considerably cheaper online but I didn't want to wait so I was willing to take it at the more than double online price to have my spa going that day and I left. 15-20 mins go by and I get a call from Jen and she had gone back and figured out what had happened that the new counter person miss typed the part number in the computer and grossly over charged me and was willing to give me a refund over the phone of over half my money back!! Honesty and integrity is rarely found like that these days and I really appreciated it. Excellent product and customer service We bought a hot tub from Arctic Spa about a year and a half ago and have been 100% happy with the product and service. I was hesitant to get a hot tub because I didn't want to deal with the maintenance, but our salt water system virtually takes care of itself. We check the app periodically and add a bit of solution here and there, twice a year we drain, clean and refill. I probably drove these guys crazy when it was first installed because I kept bringing in water samples for them to check, I couldn't believe that I didn't have to do anything. Last week we had them come out to add more jets and they were great again - proactive communication, show up when they say they will, do the job right at a fair price. Always friendly and helpful. So after three months of the incredible Tub it's been simply amazing. The deck and the tub changed my back yard from a place I maintained to an oasis I entertain in. We had a Cub model, built in 1995, when Arctic first started. The spa has lasted 22 years with a minimum of upkeep or repairs. We did have to replace the controller board about 4 years ago, but hey, the spa lasted considerably longer than we expected! Now, repairs are too great and they've really upped the quality game. With such a great experience owning a spa (despite the crook - not these guys - who sold it to us) we weren't interested in any other brand. Chris is very low-key, no high-pressure sales, and between the spa being a floor model that they hadn't put water into and the "nation-wide" sale, we got a *great* deal! Couldn't pass it up. Absolutely the WORST and most unprofessional spa service, customer service and follow up I have experienced as a consumer. We chose an Arctic Spa swim spa bc it had wonderful ratings. It is a great misfortune that the only local distributor is Chad Newton, owner of Arctic Spa NW. The swim spa had metal components that rusted with our salt water upgrade, the cheap fix of replacing those parts with plastic took over 6 weeks and the silicone is coming off yet again. When this happens the spa is out of commission for a week and it is very expensive to drain and fill. What else?-the appts are over 2-3 weeks wait time, the jets have air locked several times decreasing output, the controls do not operate the appropriate jets, the cover is tearing already despite upgrading to hydraulic cover lifts, the "plumbing" has had to be redone twice outside of airlock issues, the anti microbial lining is sloughing off bc of the chlorine being so out of whack, the electrode that controls the salt water chlorine balance went crazy and the water got so acidic it burned my 4 yr olds skin and made me itch for a week. The list goes on. On average I have had to call on some issue every 2 weeks for a year. Warranty replacement? Why that would make sense, however Arctic Spa NW does not keep accurate records and is 'trying' to make that happen. What???? These are safety issues, ongoing issues, frequent ongoing issues. They are doing NOTHING, barely communicate and no follow up. Do NOT buy from these people. They got my $30G and with all the issues withing my first year are not replacing the swim spa. I was told my calling Arctic Soa directly to follow up on warranty replacement "didn't help" and now Chad has stopped communicating or trying to help and we have a broken swim spa. We have contacted a lawyer and the BBB. All complaints will be formally filed. Save yourself the trouble-buy elsewhere. read more

Blown away by poor service! Sales women made us feel cheap and inadequate. She was very judgmental and rude as we were purchasing chemicals.

Top-notch service. The sales people are really knowledgeable and walk you through everything, even showing you the nitty-gritty insides if you like. Chris was a really great salesperson and answered all of my questions in person and on the phone. He set up a wet test for me so I could try it out and was very patient while I made my decision. I also never felt pressured or talked down to. The staff really stands behind their product. Go Artic! read more

It's been 2 years since we became Arctic Spa owners. I joke with friends who bought spas of their own from cheaper brands (like those sold at Costco) and all of them regret not getting one like us. We are in it almost every day, and it's always ready for us without us learning to be chemists! With the really cold winter last year, we never had to worry about a thing freezing or seizing up... sitting in the snow fall in a hot spa with big jets spinning on your back is priceless. Arctic builds a great tub. These guys serve customers well, and I 100% will buy my next tub from these folks (and I will have to... our kids are growing). read more

My wife and I bought a hot tub a few months back and I have to say that this was one of the worse, if not the worse purchasing processes we have ever dealt with. Not because of the purchasing process because that was very simple but I tell you what, as soon as you get that tub out the door, this company has no intention what so ever to take care of the consumer afterwards. The sales gal Jen sold us a ton of chemicals that we didn't need or where the chemicals she sold us used for a hot tub, they were for pools only. I was so frustrated with the advice they gave about balancing the tub I kept the tub empty for the first 3 months we owned it. I was tired of refilling it after following the exact steps that Jen had given to me. If you understand the chemistry of a hot tub and can take care of it yourself without any help, Arctic Spa may be a place for you to purchase a tub. If you are not knowledgable enough to do so STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! read more
