Best diner in Ardsley!! Boasting quality diner menu selections, the food is always quality. Some of my faves are the Pulled Pork sandwich (nice tangy bbq sauce) and the Ruben sandwich (piled high with corned beef). Good soups, fresh salads, and an OK kids menu. Absolutely disgusting. I found a piece of hair in my mash potatoes and asked for them to refund part of my meal(the mash potatoes). The manager refused to speak with me. After waiting 5 minutes, I finally got up to find the manager. We got into a full out argument which involved him yelling and acting aggressively towards me. He refused to refund any part of my meal and insisted that I pay for the meal immediately. He even threatened me. Absolutely disgusting. I would recommend eating out of the garbage than this place. I called the health department. Anyone who decides to eat there better check for hair! And if you find it don't expect your money back. read more

Went for the first time yesterday with my husband. We were seated immediately by the window. The place is bright and has a cute decor, service is good and food came out quickly. The food was fine, not life changing, but fine. I had a Mexican omelette, made with chili. I'm obsessed with chili and have to order it everywhere I go. I probably wouldn't go out of my way to have this one again. My husband had an omelette with spinach and cheese. Spinach was fresh but my husband thought the omelette was bland. I thought it probably just needed salt. Everyone looked happy with their food and the portions were good. So, nothing about this place would compel me to return but it's a decent option if you're in the area. read more

Came here after trick or treating w/the family because my grandma mentioned that there was a new and good diner in Ardsley. We were expecting just a regular diner like most others in Westchester..wrong! We were enthusiastically greeted and sat, our waiter was so friendly and accommodating, they immediately brought rolls and a fantastic chick pea salad. And the menu...there was falafel! And hummus!! When have you ever seen such things in a diner?! Never! We will definitely be back...good job guys! read more

This evening, Sun. June 5th, after finishing up at Kim's Salon @ approx. 5:30pm, I thought I would like to stop at the Ardsley Diner that my Brother, Sister-in-Law and 2 nieces, who go there every Thursday evening after their nail salon appt., HOWEVER, this Diner discriminates against a single patron and the owner/manager is rude. Remember, you are only as good as your chef and clientele and you are on your way down and not up. I walked out of this Diner and will NEVER return. There are plenty of diner's in the area and probably less expensive and better food, management and atmosphere and who would be thrilled to have one single diner as well as many. I went to my neighborhood diner, Seven Brothers, on Saw Mill River Road in Yonkers, NY at the corner of Odell Avenue where Betsy the owner is thrilled to see each of her customers no matter if we come alone or with a group and always tells us to sit where we would like. First time going in the restaurant was last week. Was greeted by friendly staff as soon as we walked into the establishment.The restaurant was very clean. Food was delicious and there is something there for even the most eclectic palate. Service was excellent. As we ate, more and more people were coming in. There was even a few minutes wait to be seated for some as the restaurant started filling up. We had the steak Quesadillas which came with guacamole sauce with a tiny bit of spice, salsa, and sour cream. The guacamole sauce was so fresh and the Quesadillas were the best I have ever eaten anywhere and they came with a side order of rice and beans which I had never seen that before. My friend could not do rice so she asked for an avocado sliced on the side which was brought out to my friend right away. My friend's daughter had chicken nuggets which we tasted and they were delicious along with the sweet potato fries. Good food at a reasonable price and right in our own backyard. I am thinking of doing take out for the family tonight. I would truly recommend this restaurant. You will not be disappointed. read more

Just had my second visit. Both times I got an omelet. This is by far the best omelet I've ever had. Most places either throw chopped veggies in and fold the egg over it. Others are just oozing with grease. Here the veggies are cooked into the eggs and the omelet is nice and dry without nasty grease. So good. The best. Bigly! read more

This place always seems crowded, but I'm not sure why. Large portions of bland and tasteless food. It's not horrible, but I would choose a place with smaller portions of tasty food every time. The people who own/run the place seem nice, though, and it seems like a good place to bring kids. read more

This is a new place so we'll be back later to give it another try. No system for dealing with the crunch of patrons at the front door, they don't take names, seemed disorganized. Server was friendly but with an accent she was a bit tough to understand. My salad was great, my husband's chocolate milkshake wasn't thick. I had the Chicken Kebob - great veggies cooked just right and yummy rice - problem was the chicken was dry and overcooked. My hubby's Tri-Tip Roast sandwich was okay, he didn't eat the roll it came on, it was rather tasty but dull - no onions or anything on it, boring pickle, average cole slaw and average fries. I liked the large glass of iced tea, didn't need a refill. I told our server about the chicken, she mumbled something and walked away. We waited quite a long time for our meal to be served. The server brought our bill without ever asking if we wanted dessert or anything else. I had higher hopes fort the place, the newspaper article in LoHud made it sound a lot better. I have been there three times all at different times and all three I have experienced a total lack of service. Host will seat you promptly, then it seems the waitstaff isn't sure what to do with you. 5-15mins later someone will come and take your drink order. Drinks will be dumped on the table and maybe your food order will be taken, if not you will have to try to catch the eye of a server to place it. Food will take any time from almost instant to painfully long to come out of the kitchen and may or may not be hot. after the food is dropped off ever seeing the server again usually requires a signal flare as they are more content to do anything other than look out into the room where they may catch eyes of someone that wants something. Of the three times I was there all three I have had to snag a server that wasn't mine to get my server. I really hope they read these and work on their waitstaff. I want them to do well, the food is decent, the price is ok, and it's in my town but I won't be back until I can go there and get hot food, drink refills, and a check without having to wave my arms around like I'm directing traffic. read more
