I think that depends on the toddler, but it wouldn't be my first choice for them. It's loud with flashy lights so it might bother some kids. The activities aren't quite made for that age either. Slightly older kids would probably enjoy it more.

Now regardless of your skill or lack thereof with consoles and games, even my husband, who has a lot of experience playing driving and racing games with manual mode, found it troublesome It's a cool experience - but I wouldn't pay for it again. We absolutely love cars, so in general the theme is awesome (even if you're not a gearhead), but would come back here again for the amazing cocktails, especially if it's as chill and quiet as when we went here.

Another time, a pack of teenage boys determined to ruin the movie for everyone else. This time, my neighbor ate an entire large bag of chips from the opening scene to the closing credits, crunching every bite and rustling the bag nonstop. I know not every situation can be handled perfectly by staff, but people who disrupt the experience really should be escorted out. Pro tip: bring blankets because they like to run ac even in winter.

If I could rate zero stars I would. Management has no control of their security guards! They are on a power trip and reading some of these other reviews I see a trend with security. There was a mistake made on our behalf the bar area has no security or person standing in the front, there are tables and chairs to sit which one person in our party decided to sit the kids since we were all waiting to get our party together. Security came up and told him they couldn't be in there to which he realized the problem and said oh ok yea and took the kids to the flower bed area. He was met there by some more family and security walks up and starts yelling at my sister in law saying "You guys need to leave!!" When she asked why he stated "Because of him!!" And pointed at her boyfriend to which she replied with why? And he started yelling at her saying everyone was going to get kicked out because "he (her bf) was talking back" and they needed to leave the premises immediately and he then walked away. By then we were all together, my brother in law decided to try and speak with a manager at the customer service desk that is where the security guards were standing around all of us surrounding us which we disregarded and Tara came out to speak with us. As we explained the situation we pointed out how they were standing there watching all of us. Which she did acknowledge and let us know she would get their side as-well. Once she spoke to them she came back to us and said she wouldn't be kicking us out we can go about our day as planned since we still had other events to attend but to be mindful of the bar area to which we all agreed. We all started going upstairs and out of nowhere this shorter security with longer hair popped out of a door and stands in front of my brother in laws face pointing at him saying "oh no no" shaking his finger at him. At this point we are confused because we have already "squashed" this so we go back to Tara my sister and mother in law are in there talking to Tara when the Fat Cartman looking one is following my father in law and starts confronting him yelling that he needs to go, as this happens my husband steps up to him and all the security rush us yelling in our faces of course we were not going to let them harass us like that. The Supervising Security comes out I believe his name is Brian and stands in the middle of his employee and my father in law, come to find out the one with the longer hair that pointed his finger in my brother in laws face was supposedly on break at the time, so he went to harass my brother in law on his break??!? Crazy!! It's a shit show in there our whole families time was ruined we have younger kids with us and we had to leave as we were not trying to have anything happen with our kids there. Unfortunately we wasted our time and money to be harassed by security who are on a power trip it was disappointing. We spent well over $1000 there were about 20 of us in our group. And to the "CEO" there is nothing that can pardon your security, they need some kind of training they are bully's and have no respect for anyone and their families, they obviously have no care for their superiors either since they come out during break time to harass patrons and yell in their faces. I hope they can fix their security issue, because that will be their downfall. read more

Normally I would start out with a five-star review. But at this point over the last 7 months that I've been coming to Vegas setting up my own business and taking investors to Area 15. I've had a few different observances of employees at Area 15. I enjoy taking my potential investors on the Lift Off ride, giving them that 360 view of Vegas. It's very impressive. Most times there are different employees that are operating this ride. At first I believed these employees were genuine, one in particular named "Roger, Riley, Richard", not sure on his name as that was in the Summer. He stated how "he's struggling with taking care of a sick grandma and his mom, trying to work his way through school. So he basically was begging for tips. Which really embarrassed me in front of my investors. But I went along with it, and gave him a good tip. But what made it worse is most recently I heard the same exact story from a young white girl named Shantel. Now I thought that was really odd because her stories were exactly what the young man said to me in mid Summer. EXACTLY, almost verbatim. How can two people have the same sick grandma, and mother and be struggling to work her way through school..? From my understanding, this is called "Tip Hawking". I've never heard that term before but it's interesting where they're both begging for tips using the same stories. This does not bode well for Area 15 to have employees doing that. Now I've had other employees that have helped me on Lift Off over the last 7 months, very pleasant and gracious. I'll ask them "can you accept a tip?" Most of them respond with yes, it's allowed and they don't beg. The last one I believe his name was Aaron a very nice young man, HE deserved a tip (he didn't beg). And a couple months ago, an older woman with purple hair, I think her name was Millie or Mel, was very gracious and had a lot of energy and personality and "believable"stories as apparently she grew up in Vegas. She basically said if I'm not mistaken "tips aren't necessary, but are greatly appreciated" at the end of the ride, but she didn't beg, she just said it and left it alone. So the two out 7 employees unfortunately gave Area 15 a bad taste, embarrassed me by "begging/Tip Hawking" for tips with falsities. Unfortunately now I'm taking my investors to the Eiffel Tower. They still can get the 360 view without my fear of being embarrassed by the same two "begging" for money. Otherwise Area 15 is great. Just get rid of the bad eggs and maybe I'll bring my future investors back to enjoy. I may post revue on other sites as a warning. :( read more

My husband and I had the most exquisite time in Las Vegas this past weekend spending New Years there We stayed at Resorts World which apparently is like a museum to Elvis Presley, not quite sure what that's all about but it was informative. They have this awesome restaurant called Fuhu, very exotic Asian cuisine. I would recommend it to everyone. We checked out the Mob Museum. Fremont Street and a hole in the wall local bar called Davey's (Jones) Locker. We visited a real spooky place, The Haunted Museum. As long as you don't scare easily it's a really interesting place to go. Finished up at Area 15 on New Year's Eve, which is really not the experience I expected but it was most enjoyable. One of the best things was something called Liftoff. It takes you up in the air so many hundreds of feet and slowly spins to where you can see a 360° view of Las Vegas. It was beautiful. Inside there were a lot of things to do. A virtual reality room. My husband and I played Dueling Axes which I beat my husband at (not literally). There was this room called Museum Fiasco (not nearly what it sounds like). It had Christmas music and lights that you used 3 D glasses to walk around inside with. The lights were very beautiful, but it was country music and it didn't really tickle our fancy. Still very enjoyable. One of the workers came up to us and asked if we wanted a picture taken? She took several for us with the flickering lights around us. Her name was Mel, I took a picture with the 3 of us for memory, but can't seem to load it on this review. She actually had been working at Liftoff when we were outside and is a very personable, funny lady with interesting stories of Old Vegas, Showgirls & Frank Sinatra. She put a very pleasant spin on our visit there. Mel made Area 15 worth visiting. In closing, everyone should make Area 15 a part of their Las Vegas vacation, hopefully you will get Mel, she will make your day! read more

My friend and I decided to go all out for her birthday weekend by getting the biggest package at Area 15. While the experience was overall enjoyable, there were some aspects that left us with mixed feelings. On the positive side, the inclusivity of the package impressed us. Being able to explore everything, including activities separate from Area 15, was a fantastic feature. It pushed us to try new things, adding an element of surprise to the weekend. The complimentary beverages at most places were a nice touch, enhancing the overall experience. However, there were notable downsides. Despite opting for the biggest package, we were disappointed to find that several items were missing. A lanyard or a keepsake ticket would have added a tangible element to our experience, instead of solely relying on our phones for everything. The absence of souvenirs like t-shirts, pins, or stickers was a letdown, especially when looking for something to commemorate the special occasion. The restriction on visiting Omega Mart only on the first day seemed unfair for a 3-day ticket. Omega Mart itself requires a dedicated day, and having the flexibility to choose when to visit would have been appreciated. Another aspect that didn't quite live up to the "biggest package" expectation was the lack of incentives. Food and drink coupons, as well as merchandise discounts, would have added value to our purchase. While we did get sweatshirts and enjoyed the food, a little extra incentive would have truly made it feel like we were getting the most out of the biggest package. In conclusion, while the experience at Area 15 was fun, there are areas where improvements could enhance the overall value of the biggest package. We spent a week long vacation in Las Vegas, mainly for my husband and I, but we took our children as well. On our way to the airport, we stopped at Area 15 Amusement Park which had a multiple of things to do. Not your normal amusement park per se, but it was different. I have children from 6 to 12 years old who couldn't do certain rides which was unfortunate. But other than that it was a great experience. Our last ride before we left was outside, I believe it was called Lift Off, it goes up a couple hundred feet, and you get a full view of Las Vegas which was very beautiful. The gal running this ride was very delightful, her name was Mel. We actually saw her throughout the park as she was overseeing other rides inside the structure. She was very gracious and funny each time. She calmed my daughter down when we were on the ride Lift Off because my daughter has what I guess a fear of heights which we just never knew before. But Mel made her feel comfortable enough to stay on the ride for a few minutes. Mel is very entertaining and very likable and has some amazing stories from growing up in Las Vegas that she shared with us. She is an asset to this amusement park. She goes out of her way to please, especially the way she handled my young daughter was so helpful. We will be coming back at Christmas time. Hopefully my daughter won't be as afraid, especially if Mel is there to calm her. Mel has a unique personality that really made our final hours in Las Vegas great. And hopefully calmed my daughter enough to take that airplane ride home now that we know she's got a fear of heights. PRO: Mel is a valuable and pleasant acquisition to Area 15. I've held this in for too long I loved my overall visual experience with Meow Wolf but I have to share my experience with their horrible security team at Omega Mart this October Here's my review of their las Vegas location on FB! Really disappointed that the omega mart security interrogated my disabled husband and his service dog. We let the business know weeks in advance that we would have a service dog. They brought out 4+ security employees out while we waited in line during a week day and questioned us on HIPA PROTECTED information in public!! Then after approving our entry they told security and others not present to turn to a specific channel on their radio to observe/reports us while we were present. We used an e collar and leash!!!! Then!!!! We had to go up a flight of stairs to access a part of venue which my husband could not use his hands to hold the railing and his service dog by leash at the same time. No employee or signs at the bottem of stairs!!! So I went to the top of the stairs and signaled his service to wait at the top while my husband walked up using the railing. He is not required to use his hands to restrain his service dog. He can use verbal and hand signals with this service dog.. what if a disabled person had no arms/hands but needs a service dog?!?! Once all of us were at the top of the stairs a worker called security and said his service dog not under control. This dog does not need a leash to provide service and a leash/vest could possibly impact the dog from providing Medical service. very disappointed and looking into lawsuits for discrimination we did not have this experience at the Santa George Meowolf house of eternal return. they were amazing. read more

One Star - Clearer on-site notice needed for closures I recently attempted to visit AREA15 to check out the Interstellar Arc attraction, but was unable to access the property due to a private event. As we approached, our usual route--and multiple alternate routes--were closed. We spent roughly 30 minutes trying to find a way in, with no visible signage explaining what was happening or indicating that the venue was closed to the public. We also received inconsistent guidance from security: one person directed us into the parking garage and told us to walk, while another--once we had already entered--told us the entire facility was closed and to leave. I had previously posted a brief review saying there was "no notice," and the response I received was that the closure had been posted on the website. Respectfully, that misses the issue. Visitors who are already on-site should not have to check a website to learn whether a venue is open. There needs to be clear, physical signage at or before entry points to prevent guests from driving around a large, multi-acre complex trying to access a closed property. To add to the frustration, we were charged $6.95 for briefly entering the parking garage solely because we were directed there before being told to leave. I would appreciate that charge being reviewed or refunded given the circumstances. I understand the need for private events, and AREA15 is a unique venue that I've enjoyed in the past. This is intended as constructive feedback: better on-site communication during closures would significantly improve the guest experience and prevent situations like this. read more

I went to Liftoff at Area15 with a few friends and had an amazing time! The ride is very slow and smooth, with amazing views of the city. I accidentally dropped my phone beneath the platform before the ride started. I felt bad about it, but the attendants were extremely nice and understanding about helping me get it back. When we were up in the air on the ride, the view was beautiful. The platform spins in a circle so that you can get a good view no matter where you sit. The attendant on the ride went above and beyond to offer to take photos for us. Everyone at Liftoff was so sweet and helpful. Afterwards, we went to The Beast restaurant and bar. Last time I was here I had the Bronx Bomber Pizza, which was incredible. This time, I tried their Pulled Pork Sandwich--my new favorite. It was so good I found myself craving this exact meal for days after. We ended this trip at Area15 by checking out their Arcade. I didn't like that I couldn't take the drink I got from our previous Area15 places into the arcade (especially since they have a bar there near the machines anyway), but I didn't mind paying for another one. There weren't that many games, but my group had a lot of fun with Skeeball, Foosball, and Shuffleboard. I also thought they had some unique and cute Pinball machines. The management of AREA15 displayed a shocking level of incompetence - or perhaps worse, calculated deception - during their New Year's Eve event. What should have been a celebratory evening turned into a frustrating and cold nightmare for countless guests. Despite selling tickets well in advance, AREA15 failed to implement proper entry procedures. Hundreds of paying customers were left standing outside in frigid temperatures for hours. The most egregious part? Many of them missed the midnight countdown entirely - the very moment they had paid to celebrate. Those who purchased open bar packages (which expired at midnight) were conveniently kept outside during the hours they could have used this service. This feels less like poor planning and more like a deliberate strategy to minimize their bar costs while keeping guests' money. Some key issues: 1. Multiple entry lanes were visibly understaffed 2. No communication from management about wait times 3. No consideration for the weather conditions 4. No compensation offered for missing the main event as of 1/1/25 5. Zero accountability from organizers The fact that they continued letting people purchase tickets while knowing their capacity issues suggests either profound mismanagement or intentional overselling. Either way, it's unacceptable for a venue of this size and reputation. read more

This is a very fun place with different fun experiences. The only reason I took off one star was due to the prices. For example I was in one of the bars that had pinball machines and arcade games. I ordered 1 Orange Fanta, it was in the standard bottle but cost $5. If it was a fountain drink with refills that would be different. I noticed other prices and they also seemed high as well. Surprisingly the video games were 25 cents per play and the pinball machines were 50 cents per play which were very reasonable. If you are on a low budget you can still have fun hanging out with friends and walk around. There are plenty of things to look at free of charge and there is music playing everywhere. Each experience costs to enter. Some last longer than others. One of the VR experiences I was looking at had a posted length of 3minutes. The Wink World psychedelic experience was just under 30 minutes for $24.50 with the 3D glasses. Overall this would be best shared with one or more of your fun friends. I did notice a ton of families inside when I attended around 2pm on a Saturday, and yes it is a very much a family friendly experience. When I was going through the Wink World, there were a handful of under 12 kids in my group who were very much enjoying the show. read more

I visited AREA15 with my friends last weekend for his birthday and we had a blast! It is a new attraction that offers a variety of experiences, from art installations to virtual reality games. There is something for everyone, whether you are into sci-fi, fantasy, or just plain fun. The atmosphere is amazing, especially during this time of summer. The place is air-conditioned and spacious, so you don't have to worry about the heat or crowds. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the prices are reasonable for the quality of entertainment. We enjoyed both the outside and inside activities. Outside, there is a zip line that lets you fly over the complex, a mini golf course that is themed after Alice in Wonderland, and a food truck park that serves delicious snacks and drinks. Inside, there is a huge arcade with all kinds of games, a VR arena that lets you battle zombies and aliens, and a museum of oddities that showcases weird and wonderful artifacts. We spent about four hours there and we still didn't see everything. There is so much to explore and discover at AREA15. It is definitely one of the best attractions in Las Vegas, and I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a unique and immersive experience. read more

I must admit I really didn't want to go to a place called Area 15 but my family wanted to go so we went. I'm from Texas, so this kind of stuff is just silly, that being said, my family and I had the best experience out of Texas that we could ever have had (and we just came back from Disneyland) that's saying a lot coming from me, because Las Vegas isn't Texas. As I said my family and I enjoyed it so much. There was so much to do. I am a salesman by trade and came across a young lady (not so young) who worked there and assisted us in every possible way. Selling Area 15 to us and all the different things to do and what's potentially to come based on what she said the CEO has stated. If this lady I believe her name was Melody lived in Texas, I'd hire her as a salesperson in an instant. She has potential if only she was younger and I don't mean that in a negative way but she stated she's retired and this is just something fun for her to do. If this is what she calls fun, my God she would have been an awesome salesperson in her younger years. That being said, when we come back to Las Vegas we will be visiting Area 15. My wife and children wouldn't have it any other way. I give this place 5 stars! read more

Overall, I really enjoyed my visit to AREA15 in Las Vegas. It's one of those places that's kind of hard to explain until you actually go there yourself, because there's so much going on at once lights, art, music, different experiences, strange little details everywhere, and just a very different feeling from the usual Vegas stuff. I liked that you can walk around, look at things, take pictures, check out the exhibits, and just kind of explore without it feeling boring. Everything felt creative and fun, and I'm glad I went because it definitely left an impression. The only thing I would say is that it was a little more expensive than I expected, especially once you start adding different attractions, food, or drinks, so it's not exactly a cheap place to hang out. Also, even though it looks cool, I wouldn't say it felt super cozy or relaxing it's more loud, busy, and interesting than warm and comfortable. But honestly, I still had a really good time. It's a cool spot to visit at least once, especially if you want to do something different in Vegas, and despite the price and the not-so-cozy atmosphere, I left with good memories. read more

Disappointing Experience for Large Groups We made a reservation for a large group at one of the restaurants in Area 15, excited to enjoy the unique atmosphere and vibrant neon lights. The location itself is visually stunning, with incredible art installations and an immersive ambiance. However, our dining experience was incredibly frustrating. Upon arriving at the restaurant, we quickly realized they were out of multiple menu items, including several food options and even some drinks. As we attempted to place our orders, we were repeatedly told that they had run out of what we wanted. It was disappointing, especially considering we had a reservation--how can a restaurant accept large group bookings but not have enough food available? Ultimately, we decided to finish our waters and sodas and eat elsewhere. If you're planning a large gathering or a structured dinner, I wouldn't recommend this spot. While Area 15 itself is a cool place to explore, the restaurant experience was a major letdown. read more

AREA15 is definitely one of the most unique experiences in Las Vegas and worth checking out at least once. The entire place feels like stepping into another world with all the lights, interactive art, music, and immersive attractions. There's always something interesting to look at, especially if you enjoy creative spaces or want a break from the typical casino atmosphere on the Strip. I spent a few hours walking through different exhibits and taking photos, and the vibe was great the whole time. Meow Wolf was easily one of the highlights and feels like a giant interactive movie set you can explore at your own pace. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because some attractions can get expensive once you start adding everything up, especially for groups. Still, the atmosphere alone makes it worth the visit and I'd absolutely come back on another Vegas trip. read more

Finished the Illuminarium next door and decided to walk next door to Area 15. I've done Meow Wolf in the past, but this trip we decided to visit and just walk around. We went as soon as it opened and the line was long. Definitely a mad rush for the those trying to be the first to enter Omega Mart. As we weren't visiting Meow Wolf the rest of Area 15 was pretty empty. It was fun to walk around and check out the various stores and food venders. The candy store was unique and had a ton of cool sodas you can't normally find. There aren't many free things to do at Area 15, so I wouldn't go out of my way to visit without purchasing some of the experiences. The various experiences there really complete the experience and make it feel full. Free Reservation is suggested, in case it is busy. We booked it, but it was not needed when arrived. No one ever checked for it. read more

With that being said, we have been to many of the Halloween Haunts at the popular theme parks. I love going to haunted attractions and enjoy all of the jump scare moments. Since we go to Horror Nights in Hollywood annually, we decided to stop by Universal Horror Unleashed to see if it was just as much fun. Universal Horror Unleashed (UHU) is a smaller version of Horror Nights situated in one building. They have scare actors, their food sticks to the horror theme, they have several mazes, the building encompasses the horror themes, and of course there's a gift shop. Also, it's air conditioned, so you'll escape the elements outside. When we came to UHU, there were 4 mazes. This experience was different from the popular haunts at other theme parks. Two things set this one apart from what we were used to. The first observation that we made was that you will never go through a maze with a crowd. Noooooooo!!!! They let each party go through the maze on their own and then you'll go in next. So, my husband and I went in by ourselves. There were no screams to warn us that there were actors ready to jump out at us. You are on your own! That was EPIC!!! I loved this so much! The second observation that I made was that you may have had an audience as you walked through each maze. Each step that you made was broadcast on closed circuit TVs. There was a TV outside of one of the mazes and you could see actors hiding and jumping out at people. My husband was watching to see if he could figure out where people were hiding. I like the element of surprise, so I got in line. UHH is great for people that don't live near a major theme park that hosts annual haunts. It's also great for people that want to experience this at any point during the year. I really enjoyed our experience at UHH. If we are in Vegas again, we will definitely come back for another round of jump scares at UHU.

What made me uncomfortable was the tip that guests feel pressured to give after paying just to enter. After paying the $26.00 entry fee per person, the attendant showed me the screen to complete the transaction, and I immediately saw the options for tips of 18%, 20%, and 22%. Don't get me wrong, I am a big tipper and love to tip for good to great service, but in this case, all I did was ask for three adult tickets, and I was being asked to tip at least $18.00. I paid the tip without complaint, as the young lady who helped me was not responsible for the business policy and simply greeted me with "hi and welcome." You're provided with a heavy parka and gloves before entering the ice bar area. Once inside, it's an amazing experience. The temperature is kept at a freezing -5 degrees, so you WILL feel the cold on your face as you step in. There are many ice sculptures throughout, as well as ice chairs and benches covered with fake fur, a full bar (including a tip jar) for those who want a drink, high-energy music blasting through the speakers, a free Pac Man game mounted on the frozen wall, and colorful, changing lights throughout the room. This was a really fun experience.

We booked our tickets ahead online because it appeared that in the past they would sell out, but we could have easily purchased them at the door. The museum houses old working and non-working neon signs from Las Vegas past. There's everything from old cleaners signs to old casinos like the Stardust. I highly recommend that you visit at night so that you can see a lot of the boneyard lit up. They offer guided tours but we opted out. There's plenty of signage throughout the museum to give context and history to what you're looking at, although the guided tour would have been cool. We spent about an hour walking amongst the signs and I didn't want it to be over! They have a separate fenced off section with signs that will never light up, but I wish that we could have explored that section as well, since many of the signs that they had on display in the main area also didn't light up. It was so cool to see this piece of Las Vegas history.

There were still employees around who were really nice about answering questions. We took a lot of great pictures here, and it was a memorable experience and something you can't really see outside of Vegas. I wish it weren't as expensive, and with each thing (the guided tour, and brilliant show) costing extra on top of the admission as well as the Lyft for the trip out here since it's far removed from everything else, it can get really expensive.
