Partner and I stopped by Argentinian Grill. Though it has a rather good menu, it's a wine and beer-only café with a certain characteristic café feel about it. I had the Skirt Steak (Entraña) which, I must add, came in a large portion and had a very good rich meaty flavor. Partner had an Argentinian Sandwich which was a filet mignon served with mayonnaise, lettuce, tomato, and chimichurri, served in a medium-sized bread. We came for lunch as I was in the mood for a good steak sandwich. I'd seen a post online with a picture that looked exactly like what I was craving. When we stopped by they weren't that busy. We found a parking spot right outside the restaurant. And we were told to sit wherever we wanted. We chose a comfortable booth. We both decided to get their medium sized steak sandwich. They also have a larger version. The sandwich has lettuce and tomato and mayo plus chimichurri sauce. I ordered my sandwich without mayo. The sandwich comes with your choice of one side. I selected the Russian salad which the server explained was a potato salad. My husband chose french fries as his side. It didn't take too long for our food to be served. The sandwich was wonderful. The bread was nice and crunchy on the outside. And the combo of the thin steak and chimichurri was quite tasty. The potato salad had peas and carrots in it. It also was pretty good. We both agreed that we were more than happy with our lunch selections. In addition to sandwiches, they have salads and full entrees. Plus, there are a lot of various empanadas. My son has been talking about this restaurant for a while and we finally got around to going to celebrate his birthday. I'm so glad we did! Liz was our waiteess, and the service was excellent. She was very attentive and kept or drinks refilled and anticipated our every need. We ordered an empanada, cheese app, and a variety of entrees. The meat was so delicious and tender. My family and friends really loved this place! If you love meats and empanadas, you HAVE to give this place a try. It's not pretentious. The place was clean and comfortable to relax, have a nice meal and just gather. The staff were all so attentive and nice also. I'm still amazed at how tender and flavorful the meats were! We tried the meat sampler for 2 to get a taste of it all. And none of them disappointed. I was pleasantly surprised that the chorizo was not overly salty. And the chicken which we sub'd from the blood sausage was pleasantly tender also. I was worried the chicken may be dry. My cousin had the skirt steak and finished the entire dish herself. The chimichurri sauce was delicious! Even though we were stuffed, we still made room for dessert. We tried the tiramisu, a dulce de leche crepe and a flan. The crepe filling seemed a little too much but the crepe was delicious. It had a little hardened sugar top to it which was a nice touch. The flan was good too! Not too overly sweet. Not sure how this place has an average rating of 4.1 stars because it is truly one of the best Argentinian restaurants in South Florida not only in terms of value but also food quality. Portions are enormous and they honestly have some of the best empanadas I've ever had. This is definitely my go to spot when Im in Boca. The one issue is that service can be a bit slow. This month, our group of friends met at Argentinian Grill. As an appetizer, we ordered meat Empanadas for everyone, they were authentic and delicious. It's an Argentinian restaurant, so the steaks are the stars there. We ordered different types of steaks, that by the way were tender, juicy, delicious, and cooked to perfection. We had the Vacio steak, skirt steak, steak sandwich, rib-eye and the Parrilla, a mixture of all kinds of meats possible including Argentinian sausages, blood sausages, short ribs, Vacio steaks. The fries were nice and crispy shoestring fries. Only two of us ordered dessert, I had the Tiramisu and one of the guys had the flan, it was delicious. The ambiance is cool and hip! Maria our server, was polite, friendly and professional, she took care of us without missing a beat and always smiling. The only negative thing about the restaurant is that the chairs are extremely uncomfortable, they're made of me metal with no cushion whatsoever. They should do something about that!! I've been a patron of the chef who operates this location and used to operate the Argentinian Deli few blocks south. The food has always been on point. The empanadas are fresh, tasty, and while some may complain that they run out of empanadas, that's because they only make a certain amount to maintain the freshness, so sometimes that happens and you need to wait for the next batch. If you are planning a large order for pickup, call ahead and reserve what you want. I've never tasted their red meats, but trust that they are great. See Albert P review, he is a big red meat guy and he sang their praises. I trust his judgment. I'm boring and consistent and order their grilled chicken sandwiches or grilled chicken platters with a side dish. The side salad - either mixed Italian salad or Caesar - are both good. The home made potato salad is creamy and chunky and excellent. I could make a meal of just that! They make a fierce cappuccino, also and frequently have desserts made by others and brought there for sale. Here's my one complaint and it is a consistent one, and causes me to rate 4 rather than 5 stars. The service is painfully inefficient and slow at lunchtime. I've commented on this when reviewing the Deli location. At lunch there is sometimes one server and even when there are two, there appears to be a longer than needed wait. For someone to take your order. For someone to bring the cappuccino you want at the beginning of your meal, like any other drink you would order. And then the food. You wait. And wait. And wait. While the servers answer the phone, take orders, or deal with walk-ins who are placing orders or picking them up. Finally your food is brought to the table. The server is always pleasant. It just seems they have no order in how orders are placed into the kitchen and how the kitchen makes them. It's frustrating and annoying. But I return because the food is good. And always leave feeling like I've spent way too much time waiting for the food, because I have. I doubt this will ever change, so be prepared, especially if you are on a schedule at lunchtime. read more

So glad that I found this place! Delicious Argentinian food. The Food: 5 out of 5 The Parrilla was delicious! All of the meats were super tender and tasted amazing, especially with the chimichuri sauce. My favorite part of it was the skirt steak. I'm surprised that I enjoyed the blood sausage since I normally don't like it. They give you a LOT of food. Definitely late for 2 meals with the amount of leftovers. West side of US1, north of 20th st; The Argentinian Grill opens it 2nd location less than half a mile from it's first. It's original location still running, just smaller. Sharing the building with FedEx Kinkos, you can't miss seeing off the street. Big open area with booths along the sides, tables in the center and a few outside in the front. Most of the time it is seat yourself. The staff tends to get themselves busy, so bare yourself that you may wait for some items at times. I don't think they purposely do it but, maybe having designated table sections or work better as a group could help. They're very helpful, genuine and smile as they work through. I don't mind it, because I do come back, the food is solid for what the price is at. I've had the steak sandwich at both locations and it's exactly that, baguette, lettuce, tomato, steak. Ask for some Chimichurri, pour that on & you're all set. The Parrilla is a great dish to share with and even sometimes the made for one can even be shared for two. Classic Argentina empanadas are always satisfying to indulge before entrees or even to take home. Three cheese & onion, spinach & cheese, along with classics are available. Pastafrola is a yummy dessert I grew up on served here, ask them to warm it up. It's basically a guava cake. If you have a moment; the Argentina pre made sandwiches are great to take home to have as a snack later. Check out some of the munchie items they got. Now you don't have to go to Argentina for really bad pseudo Argentinian food. We have it right here in Boca. Unchewable low grade steaks which they claim are USDA Prime beef. Truly deceptive advertising which I didn't believe. It won't be around much longer with quality like this. When you think of Argentina you think of beef but this was a true disappointment.
