I bought $5,000 sectioal with the "worry free" warranty for an additional $300 and when i had an issue with the sectional that was clearly stated in the guidelines that was covered they gave me the run around for months and then said it was past 30 days since the incident happened and therefore they weren't going to cover the damage. What a scam! This is the worst customer service. Shop somewhere else that actually does what they advertise. read more

I came to Arhaus looking for hanging planters/vases and mirrors which they had a great selection. Immediately coming into the store I noticed 3 beautiful white vases with small plants inside of each one them sitting on top of a table. I noticed that several items at the store were marked off for the floor samples, the vases were originally marked $50 and had hand written "-$19." I decided to buy a mirror and the 3 vases. Now, when I came to the counter with the 3 vases to pay, the woman behind the counter literally sprinted out to get the attention of a customer that I guess she had been helping and was leaving the store. She told us to wait. When she came back several minutes later, she told us that the actual price of the vases was $50 each, and the plants inside of them were an additional $19 each. Then in a very condescending tone explained that the plants were "real." I had such a bad experience with the way I was treated as well as the sarcastic tone that I decided not to buy the vases with "the real plants" nor the mirror. Will not be coming back to this store. read more

My experience with Arhaus was unfortunately not a great one. My wife purchased a set of cocktail glasses, which we both love. Unfortunately, a few weeks after using them, one of the glasses cracked right in front of us while it was sitting on the table. We explained this to Arhaus, but they responded that they were not able to do anything about it. I feel that this was a flaw in the glass, and should be something that a company would be able to help out with. We will not be shopping here again, and I urge you to consider this when purchasing with Arhaus in the future. read more

I'm very happy that Arhaus has come to San Diego, and given homeowners and renters here the opportunity to find newer and more refreshed styles than those found at the same tired furniture stores we've grown accustom to. Every time I've gone into Arhaus to decorate and furnish my home, I'm personally greeted and have always felt my needs and interests are taken into consideration, rather than being pushed into a purchase. The store's GM and his associates are very personable, and give off a very family, one-on-one feel--the type of company I would rather do business with! We went in November, and ordered a dining table and two living room chairs. We spent nearly $5000. We were told that because our table was backordered we wouldn't receive our table before First week of January. Frustrating for a furniture store, especially given the holidays were coming, but willing to look past it. Mid January comes and still absolutely no word for Arhaus. We literally had to call to get an update. Low and behold our chairs (that were in stock when we ordered them) were now on back order, so they said we would have to wait until February unless we wanted to pay another delivery fee. What??? Ridiculous. But that's not even the worst of it. After being clear that this policy was ridiculous, they agreed to deliver the table. Well day of delivery comes and the team hired shows up in a moving truck with NO Directions on how to build it. After an hour They literally asked me to show them a picture of what it was supposed to look like. To add insult to injury, they said arhaus forgot a piece of the hardware and asked me if I could give them a ride to Home Depot!!!! What??? I have a baby at home, sorry I'm Not about to drive a complete stranger to Home Depot to fix a problem arhaus screwed up. Worst part, I inspect the table, that is half built, and realize several of the pieces are broken!!!We got on the phone with customer service who said it would be 6 weeks before another could be ordered. So here we are.... 10 weeks from Order date, with another 6 weeks to wait. But they were nice enough to waive that delivery fee???? (Rolling my eyes) save your money. It's a beautiful store but if I'm spending this much money it better come on time and work! So sadly disappointed. I wanted to like it so much. read more

I just purchased an expensive ottoman from Arhaus UTC - which ended up being the wrong size and shape- from what I wanted when I went into the store I was told the larger square ottoman would work better with my new Lansbury sofa set - and that the Rectangular ottoman would not fit So without reading the fine print carefully enough - relying on the professional sales staff for their advice - I purchase the one they recommended- only to find out its very out of proportion and too large for my living space - I am extremely disappointed with the results of my inquiries with the store and the regional manager All I heard was defending their sales staff - Never once did they offer to try to make this right somehow - I had a much better experience at Nativa - they came out to my house to assist - Arhaus appeared only concerned with the sale and the contract - it wasn't clear to me that the square ottoman was not exchangeable - I trusted them and very disappointed- and stuck With the wrong item - which does not work ... read more

Michael and Kat sourced my floor plan with dimensions in order to create a digital presentation to help me visualize the final arrangement in my home: master bedroom, family room, and kitchen/foyer area. Kat helped me (I need the help) pick out custom fabric and leather for my Remington sofa and Ranch ottoman; Michael mailed me the samples. Love my Pearson Gallery bedroom set. Delivery was smooth/on-time; Arhaus' Concierge also sent a furniture technician. Will be adding to my home in the near future and only through Michael and Kat at the UTC store. After visiting nearly every furniture store in San Diego we stopped by Arhaus. The moment we walked in we knew this store fit our style. The showroom is clean and beautifully furnished. Kudos to Tracy the designer who helped us. He was very professional and patient during our decision making process. His product knowledge put us at ease once we decided on our bedroom set. We never felt pressured into buying something we didn't want. The Palmer bedroom set we purchased looks great and very impressed with the quality. The salespeople were very helpful. The quality of their sectionals seems very good. If you don't place a custom order, you can get your sectional in 12 weeks which is way less than the 6 months most other places offer (due to COVID). We ordered a sofa from Arhaus for our new home. We loved the sofas and because of that, we paid more than we expected to get what we needed. Although confusing from the start regarding measurements etc, we finally placed an order. The couch was scheduled to be delivered and never came. We had a large party and no furniture. The furniture came late. It is 2 inches short but I was told in the contract, it is noted that that is acceptable. Watch the fine print!! We were told the couch rarely has to be fluffed up (once a week on the show room floor) but you can't sit on it without it being totally destroyed on the back cushions even for a few minutes. The fabric is all wrinkled and it truly looks awful. Working with Babs and Michael with little or no response. I have sent a number of emails with no response at all. It has been a struggle and customer service is truly non-existent. read more

We're redecorating our living and dining room and had specific pieces picked out online, but i wanted to see them in person before purchasing. I had a full list of items to look up and our sales person, Maite, took us to every single item and was great with additional suggestions. The leather chairs we bought are beautiful, yet sturdy and I found a few extras that I hadn't even considered. We had one price adjustment that needed to be made and the manager, Michael, was extremely helpful and accommodating. Great experience. read more

We bought large amounts of furniture from Arhous. The delivery process was painful and required baby sitting. They did finally get our order completed a few months later. The follow up service is just as slow. We got the warranty and it still takes months to get our new furniture repaired. Beautiful showroom but very unprofessional service. I've been in multiple times to check on orders, etc and almost each time i overhear sales employees lecturing patrons to always ask for them and also have observed more than once sales associates arguing over who "gets" the client right on the showroom floor. I've had to cancel orders due to incorrect lead times quoted, dates continually being pushed out, and absolute lack of follow up or promised return phone calls that never happened. I am a trade professional and no longer specify from Arhaus due to lack of service and professionalism experienced at the UTC store. read more

After we bought a significantly large piece of furniture, in less than 15 days it went on sale. since then i have been trying to contact the corp office and the store office but they kept delaying it. And finally now when i got hold of them the price adjustment cannot be made. It was a $1000 adjustment that they did. Buyers beware, guaranteed all products are over priced. Unless you are ok with shelling out thousands for the sake of it I would be very cautious of this store! read more

My boyfriend and I adore this store! We have visited many times because we are in the market for a new couch. We have always wanted the "cloud" from RH but to be honest it's not in the budget. We discovered the Tahoe, which is even better. Tonight, we decided to go in to see if we 100% really wanted that couch or if there was anything else that we liked better. David approached us and I have to say we are so happy he did. He was so genuine & professional. You know those sales people that just bug? He's the complete opposite. He allowed us to walk around the store while he put together some quotes for us on several different couches and offered help if we needed it. For this reason, we will be purchasing the Tahoe & we will continue to work with David. I can't thank him enough for being so friendly, helpful, and honestly just a normal person.. without trying so hard to sell something that actually sells itself. We are looking forward to purchasing our first furniture item with them & hopefully working with David in the future to purchase much more. If you are looking to work with anyone, we recommend working with David for sure. read more

My experience here was terrible. An old man in his 60's named Tracy was very quick to kick us out for merely looking around. He was very rude and said "you're done looking around get out." A place like this should be accommodating to everyone and he was very discriminatory due to us being around the age of 20, however we definitely had money to spend. Terrible customer service as others have mentioned. Everything online or in store has a "ready to deliver" date that is usually less than half the actual time it takes to deliver the item(s). I put in a significant order for a bed, coffee table and bedside tables in early January. They charged me 50% and said the bed would be ready to delivery in 2 weeks, coffee table and side tables in 9-10 weeks. I got an email a month later that the bed had been delayed and would now deliver end of March. 5x the original delivery time but I understand there are shipping delays right now so not the end of the world. No word since then and I finally call this month to find out that the bed and coffee table are in stock but they wont ship any items until the full order is ready. WHAT?? I have to wait 20+ weeks for everything to be delivered when you have most of my order in stock and ready to go?! Not to mention, nowhere in the order confirmation or online when checking out did it say all items in the order must be in stock to ship and why would you send me an email about the bed being delayed if you couldn't deliver it until everything else was ready anyway?? I love the furniture at this store but their operations are a disaster and support has no empathy and is useless. Never ordering from here again. read more

Amazing customer service! I bought a beautiful Italian chandelier (on sale) for our dining room which has 30 ft ceilings. After buying the chandelier, we decided to buy a new foyer chandelier as well, given it has the same high ceilings. We might as well have someone hang two chandeliers rather than one. After about two weeks and the sale was over, we decided to buy the sister chandelier for the foyer. We spoke with Michael, the store manager, and he honored the sale price for the second chandelier, and at that time he told us it was a 17 week lead time..ugh..I explained to Michael we wanted to hang the two chandeliers at the same time, given the high ceilings, and we didn't want to wait 17 weeks to have them hung. Somehow, someway, Michael was able to find the sister chandelier for us in Ohio, and had it shipped to us within one week! Now, that is customer service! With each delivery, we received phone calls making sure we were happy with the chandelier and there were no issues! I wouldn't hesitate for one minute to purchase again from Arhaus! read more

HORRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICES!! BAIT AND SWITCH WITH PRICE!! My wife and I went Saturday, July 21st for furniture shopping for our dining room. After seeing everything we were interested in the LUCA 54" BROWN TABLE with 5 chairs that Daniel the design consultant help find for us. They displayed the LUCA BROWN TABLE with a sale tag price of $1699.00. I must have asked him several times: "Is this table 54 inches?" Daniel said yes. "Is this $1699.00 on sale?" Daniel said yes. When we were done, he said he would email us the estimate so I would have the information we talked to him about (like the name of the table and chairs). I never got the email. I waited a few days. Asked him if I can get that email estimate? He claims he sent it the same day. Which I don't see it but that's ok. That's no big deal. He sent it when I asked for it again on Wednesday, July 25th. The estimate shows the LUCA 54" BROWN TABLE at $1,999 on the email estimate. I said I thought the table was on sale at $1699? Daniel said no sir. The table that's displayed is our 48" LUCA BROWN TABLE. Then he tells me on how "extremely popular it is and I should reserve it before the holidays". Daniel lied! My wife confirmed that he lied. She was standing next to me and heard everything. As a matter of fact she told me you don't need to keep asking him on the sale price and the size of the table. If they weren't so dishonest we would have purchased everything. I definitely do not recommend! SHAME ON YOU ARHAUS! SHAME ON YOU!!! read more

My husband and I were very familiar with Arhaus and the high quality furniture that they sell in their stores. We are new to the area and came across this store during a sale. Though the salespeople were very busy, they continued to check on us and made us feel welcome as well shopped. They were so helpful through the whole process from the sales floor, to the financing, and to the setting up of the shipment. The store manager Michael Babcock kept us in the loop with the status and delivery during this crazy Covid-19 time and even gave me his home phone number so he could continue to help with the purchase. I recently had a disappointing experience at Arhaus in La Jolla, CA. It was bad enough that I wrote this review - something i didn't ever see myself doing. The store is located in the Westfield UTC mall - the mall is oriented such that there is no parking near the store. We ordered a rather large chandelier from Arhaus for delivery to the store since it was 4 months back-ordered. When it finally arrived, we were told where to park to make it convenient to load. No problem! My wife and daughter went to pick up the chandelier and parked in the suggested location after circling for about 15 minutes to find a spot. The store was a good 10 minute walk from the location - up an escalator and through the mall. At Arhaus: after bringing out the chandelier - which when boxed was as tall as my wife-- absolutely no help was provided. When we asked for help, instead of helping, someone brought out a dolly, laughed about how big it was, wished us "good luck", and asked us to return to the dolly once we were done. Wow! Having just spent a small fortune on the chandelier, this level of "helpfulness" was astounding! Instead of helping, we loaded the chandelier on the dolly ourselves, navigated it through an exceptionally crowded mall, found the elevator ourselves, made it through the packed parking lot with traffic, and hoisted the chandelier into our car - with no help. Then we reversed the whole process to return the dolly to the front of store where the salesperson had asked for it -- since apparently it was too hard for someone to actually help/accompany us - even to take the dolly back. It was a very disappointing experience - we had considered Arhaus one of the better stores out there. read more

Beautiful store with an impressive selection of unique but current furnishings and accessories. We have recently completed a home remodel and shopped here for some new dining room and living room furniture. Purchased a gorgeous dining table and chairs as well as a unique coffee table. Daniel, our designer, was extremely helpful and kept us informed on delivery dates. Because we had a holiday party scheduled at our home, Daniel and the store manager, Michael, went above and beyond to get us our items in time for the party. We are extremely happy with the items we purchased -- top quality and beautiful style. Thank you to Daniel and Michael as well as the professional delivery team. I checked today and it is still on sale. Where they just trying to rush me? After reading so many bad reviews, and this false statement, I am hesitant to buy here.
