This was our first visit to Swan. We started with cocktails. My husband ordered the Pineapple Passion and I ordered the Heartbreaker. Both were very good and I think the bar has a nice selection of drinks. Only issue was pacing. I didn't get my drink until at least 10 or 15 mins after my husband. So he was almost done with his cocktail before I started. Not sure how this happens with a Bar order so that's a glitch that should be fixed. On the plus (?) side (for me), our waiter misidentified the drink as mine so I had many sips before realizing it was my husbands. The cocktails were good but, for $17/each, lacked embellishments. Also Swan needs to put a spicy cocktail on the menu. Our dinner was adequate and did take forever to come out. I actually really enjoyed the shishito peppers, which were nicely done. I was less impressed with the sushi. We ordered Happy Ending, kiss of fire, double double, and rainbow. Somewhat mediocre and lacking flavor. The fish did not look or taste fresh and was very thinly sliced. The rolls lacked any sauces so were quite dry especially with the dried out fish. I personally would not order any of these again. Disappointing bc I am so desperate for a good sushi place around here. The patio ambiance was nice and the staff was friendly and helpful. I think our waiter was new, which resulted in some easily resolved glitches. But he was always apologetic and trying to correct. He apologized for the timing and kitchen slowness which must not be his fault. We will probably be back to try something different on the menu.
