Black or green or sweet tea? In 20 years, never been asked that. House tea please, hot. She brought out a glass of tea. She only brought two waters. Tea was Cold, barely lukewarm and tasted horrible. Yuck, I spit it out. Told her it was cold, she didn't understand. Take it away. Then, she still charged me for it on the bill! You charge for TEA Now? Ordered 3 Miso soups. They came cold. YUCK! Barely warm and tasted like she just poured warm water on a packet of miso mix. Yuck. Take it away. She seemed confused. She still charged us on the bill for 3 Miso soups. WHAT? What a rip off. Had to grab soy bowls from the bar area as she never delivered any to the table. Horrible service and the Bill came to $115 for 4 rolls of sushi and two glasses of wine for the ladies. Last time we went in we ordered Kalbi Korean style short ribs marinated in our chef's special soy sauce for $16 NEVER ORDER THESE!!!!!! EVER 1/8" thin bone slices with tons of FAT and teenie tiny hard pieces of meat . YUCK! 6 pieces and maybe a total 1 teaspoon of meat for all six. What a waste. Get that off the menu. I'm surprised by the average star rating based on my recent experience! I don't come to Celebration often but was house sitting for family and my husband and I met his sister for lunch during our stay. She suggested Ari, and we looked over the menu and decided to give it a try. The lobster Rangoon was delicious but the real keeper is the sauce!!! Not your standard plum sauce--it has a creamy element that is so delicious we held onto it for dipping other food in! I opted for a pick two rolls (only $13 for the lunch special!) and they were super tasty, although the sushi came in wider rolls than I prefer for ease of eating. The lunch special was decent but it overall I think the menu is generally a little pricier than what you might expect for a similar restaurant outside of Celebration. It wasn't too crowded and we were able to find parking easily. I preferred this place to some of the other restaurants in the area. read more

Tuna carpaccio that I heard so much about was such a disappointment that I did something I never done before- send it back to the kitchen. The Tuna Carpaccio came with a thick layer of Parmesan cheese that was not listed in the menu and it totally destroyed all the other flavors. Other than that, the rolls we carefully selected without any fake "KRAB" (ie imitation crab) and requested to come without any sauce on top, were actually tasty. The favorite was lobster roll- usually not a fan of fried things in sushi rolls but it was delicately fried and very flavorful. The service was very slow, we had trouble waving down anyone for refills of tea several times during the night. Most of the time the dining room is empty of any servers- It's ridiculous that such simple needs of the customers would turn into a painful ordeal. If I really have to return to Seito again, I would order the bento only. At least they're not going to cover the rice with parmesan cheese. .. one can hope. read more

Went in for dinner, ordered a glass of wine, two rolls, and soup. Got the wine and soup but waited over 20 minutes for the rolls. Many tables after me received their food, and seemed to have great service. My waitress never came back to my table. She never acknowledged me until I stopped her to ask for my rolls. She looked confused and then informed me since they had new people working that my rolls had been delivered to another table. Very strange. She offered to have them made again, I declined. She didn't charge me for the soup and a glass of wine. That was the best they could do at that point. I just wanted out of there. Very strange environment. I love sushi! This was the first and LAST time I order from this restaurant. Fresh fish should not smell fishy. Fresh tuna should have a bright red color. What we got smelled and tasted like it was on the verge of being stale. The tuna was dull and dark. The rice had a day old taste to it. Interestingly, I had some sushi in my refrigerator that we purchased from Publix, which is always just average but will do in a pinch. Came here the other night for dinner in search of some good sushi since all of the local options were over an hour and a half just to sit down.My wife was wondering if there was an option To eat in Celebration for sushi and sure enough we found Ari. We were seated immediately and the service was pretty good food came out within 20 minutes and it was pretty good as well. I love Ari. I'm a frequent diner with both family and friends. And I have been for years (even before it was called Ari). I have seen the restaurant change over time - for the better! The menu constantly evolves. It's evident they want to continue to introduce new flavors and specialities, along with keeping the favorites. I have not tried the Korean BBQ yet, but the Bulgogi from the kitchen is heavenly. This restaurant also introduced to me Bibimbop, which is now one of my go to Korean dishes. I'm just here visiting, but my friends are residents by celebration. We normally would go to Disney springs, but during the quarantine, we had to stay local. Ari is amazing. The food quality is so good and it's also SUPER affordable. In fact, it's such a favorite, that we've gone back 4 times this week! We had servers Rebecca and Yoon. Both of these ladies are so so sweet and professional. They also are very good at following the safety precautions due to covid-19. Overall not bad. I went for lunch and ordered the eel roll, dragon roll, and New York lunch special. My 2 points of criticism are that the eels rolls were a bit drenched with sauce. Initially I thought they used brown rice, but realized later that it was the sauce over white rice. My second point is the imitation crab over the nigiri. I'm personally not a fan of imitation crab, and having such a big piece over rice was a bit of a turn off. Service was very good, food was fairly quick, atmosphere was nice, and tea had a nice aroma. So, our family has been visiting from California, where in-person dining for the past 7 months meant you were sitting on chairs at tables in the parking lot. Needless to say, just the mere fact that we can eat indoors is worthy of a 6th Star. My wife and I visited ARI on a Monday night (8:10pm), when the weather was a bit breezy and cool. Normally we would have sat on the patio, but "indoor dining" made us feel like we were in "Merica" again. The host sat us immediately and gave us a booth. Our waitress was quick to greet us, take our drink orders and direct us to the QR code to access the online menu. We ordered the specialty Candy Cane roll (sweet, but tasty), Beauty & Beast roll, Godzilla roll and Sushi & Sashimi platter. All arrived on a traditional wooden boat with pickled ginger & wasabi, for a nice presentation. The specialty rolls were a sweet departure from the soy sauce and spice. But the sashimi was fresh and generous. The nigiri was nicely made, with fresh and well proportioned fish. So to my review of this place on 12/23/2020. 1st the hostess was not friendly friendly 2nd The waitress started ok but then she like totally forgot she had a table, she came back about 7 minutes later to bring our starters; a salad and a clear soup, which I paid extra. 3rd The food came out 35 minutes later after our starters, it was luck warm as it had been sitting, and the food was way over priced. Definitely not worth the wait and I don't think it was due to COVID. 4th The atmosphere was not that great. If your looking to buy Japanese food then go elsewhere with better ratings. I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately I did not. I used to frequent this location back in 2009 and 2010 when it was Seito Sushi. I had not been since it made the transition to Ari, but a friend of mine suggested it so we decided to check it out last night. We met at 6pm and the place was dead. There was 1 table outside and maybe 2 inside. We were seated promptly and given our choice of where to sit. It was a really nice night so we chose a large table outside on the patio. Our server Eunice showed up right away and got us all waters. We all ordered sake tails. I ordered the Pom Pom which was pomegranate, sweet and sour, and sake. It was fine, but not spectacular. My girlfriend had one with sake, pineapple juice, and vanilla. It was delicious. I would get that one next time. Her husband had a sake Long Island Iced Tea. My man had plum wine. The plum wine was not on the menu anywhere that we could find, but someone had posted a picture of it on Yelp, so we knew to ask for it. The drinks were reasonably priced around $5-$6. So, I don't eat fish, which leads you to ask, why come to a sushi place? My fiancé loves seafood. My girlfriend is vegan and they have some options for her, and honestly I usually love Bento boxes. I've never had a problem eating at a sushi restaurant between the edamame, gyoza, ginger salad, miso soup, kalbi, bulgogi, katsu, and teriyaki. Sushi restaurants usually have great options for those of us who don't eat seafood. Ari is no exception. They had most if not all of the items I just mentioned. Here's the thing though, I'm not totally sure what they had because it seems that they have things that are not on the menu. For example, we could not find the plum wine on the menu anywhere, but they had it. I saw people with edamame on their table and I saw pictures of it on Yelp, but I did not see it on the menu. I really wanted some gyoza, which was on the lunch menu, but completely missing from the dinner menu. I ordered chicken teriyaki which came with rice, vegetables, and my choice of soup or salad. I received a ginger salad which I loved. Ginger dressing is one of my favorite dressings ever. It was the dressing that convinced me to eat salad as a kid. But, then my entrée came out. First of all, the teriyaki was on the side. No problem. I usually like stuff on the side. Here's the problem though, the chicken was so bland and completely lacking in any flavor at all. It most definitely needed to be marinated in the teriyaki. I kid you not, this was the worst chicken I ever ate in my life. It was tough. It was chewy. It was almost rubber like, and again ZERO flavor. I ate about 3 pieces hoping it would get better, or it was just the ends, but no. It was absolutely awful. I ate my sticky rice. My fiancé said he knew it was bad when they offered me a to go box and I said no. The worst part is that chicken teriyaki was $17! Even if it was good that would be a high price to pay for what I received. So let's see, absolute worst chicken I ever had in my life. Overpriced chicken, and missing menu items equals a one star experience for me. I didn't even mentioned the bugs that bit everyone's ankles, but I guess that's our own fault for eating outside. However, I am giving this place 2 stars because I am the only one who had a negative experience and therefore it is possible I just ordered the absolute wrong thing. My man loved his sashimi. He was super pleased with his order and ate every bite. My friend loved her veggies and her husband enjoyed his rolls. The drinks were good and reasonable. The tuna steak and tuna carpaccio are among their absolute best dishes. However it really depends on the chef that's making them as well as how close to closing they are. If it's even over an hour before closing the food will likely not be that nicely prepared compared to the middle of the day. Great part of downtown Celebration. Nice variety of rolls! We started with the lobster tempura. I have never seen that before. I thought it was absolutely delicious! We then got the What's This, Sweetheart Roll, and Fireworks on the Beach. I loved the Sweetheart Roll. With mango, coconut shrimp, and cream cheese it is a very different roll. I really appreciate when a restaurant comes up with something unique and this definitely was. The other rolls were good too. It has a great atmosphere and the decorations are beautiful. Ari Sushi is a nice sushi spot in the heart of Celebration. they offer an extensive sushi menu- which can almost be overwhelming! Prices are a bit higher that other sushi places in the area, but the quality was good. I opted for the Avocado Roll ($5) and the Mexican Roll ($8) and enjoyed both. Presentation was also nice and the food was prepared quickly! The ambiance of the restaurant was comfortable, with both indoor and outdoor seating. It was pretty quiet when we visited around 5:15 on a Tuesday, but I could imagine it feeling somewhat crowded if the restaurant was busier. Service was fast and cordial, but not overwhelmingly hospitable. I'd visit again when in Celebration but would probably opt for other sushi places in the area if able! read more

For the many times we visited Orlando, we never stopped by Celebration until this recent trip. We were pleasantly surprised. But this is not about the town Celebration, but about the wonderful meal we had at Seito. We started with Tuna Carpaccio. It was soooo tasty. Love the garlic and balsamic with the nicely sliced pieces of tuna. For sushi/sashimi, we tried the Ultimate Tuna Roll, hamachi, tamago, and scallops. Everything was tasty and fresh. Lastly, we shared a hamachi kama. I have to say, it was one of the best, if not the best hamachi kama I've ever had. The skin was torched crisp, but the meat underneath just melts in your mouth. The dish came with a side of baby green salad and ponzo sauce. Add a side of sushi rice and beer, I could of just had that for a complete meal.... The atomsphere was cozy and wait staff attentive and friendly. I would definitely go back again. read more

I've been to Ari Sushi twice--once for lunch during the week, and once for a Sunday dinner. Both times I got the Bento box, and had very different experiences with it. For lunch I had the teriyaki steak Bento box, and I loved it. For only $12, you get a nice portion of steak, a 4 pc California roll, a small traditional Japanese palate cleansing salad, and a side veggie. The teriyaki steak was the perfect combination of tangy and sweet, the California roll was flavorful without being overpowering, and overall I had a great experience. When I went for Sunday dinner a few months later, I got the bento box deluxe for dinner, and was not as impressed. I got the filet and teriyaki chicken combo. While the chicken was tasty, the filet wasn't flavorful at all, which was quite disappointing. I tried some of the ribs that my boyfriend got in his Bento box, and it was amazing--next time I come here, I'll definitely be getting it instead of the steak. I also was able to try some sushi--a New York, California, and Boston roll, and it all had the perfect proportions of rice, fish, and other filling. I will mention that the service was glacially slow, but regardless this would make my top two favorite restaurants in Celebration! (The other is Imperial Food and Wine.) read more

Came in here with a colleague for Lunch and the place was somewhat empty. We were seated and my colleague had her baby with her at the time - There was a wait on recieving a menu and so we ordered a bottle of Korbel ($9) and 2 orders of shrimp tempura bento boxes and a mixed tempura appetizer. We asked the server if there was any items "baby friendly" and she offered the clear soup with rice. The wait for the Bottle of Korbel was quick and also the baby's food however the wait for the appetizer and bento's were a long wait and we didnt understand the whole wait due to it was not that crowded for an afternoon eats. I noticed they served the bento boxes and never served us our miso soup -- so we ignored perhaps they forgot it and will serve it later? After everything was served I noticed this location only serves 4 pcs of california rolls and not 8 unlike the Baldwin Park location. It also seemed that this location seemed not as polish and clean compared to the Baldwin Park area. The lady gave us the bill and I noticed that they charged $2 for a bowl of rice UNLIKE Baldwin park they serve extra rice for free .. as a courtesy. Also they NEVER served us our miso soup and the server decided to remove the clear soup of the baby from the tab - I found that okay however they should at least just removed a few more things because the clear soup was about $3.. 2 orders of miso soup costs more than that. The good thing about this location they still had my colleagues debit card after she realized she had left it when we were @ the Sanrio Store. They had asked for her ID prior to handing her the debit card which was a good thing however I warned my colleague to check her bank daily just in case they scanned or took her card # for unauthorized usage. Don't go here if you don't have at least a couple of hours. Today I went there for lunch with a friend and it took them an hour to serve us food from the time we were seated. Once it got there, it didn't arrive all at once. I got my food first and then my friend got part of his food without the main part (meat). No apologies were given, just excuses. On top of that, the California roll was very thin and poorly put together. I used to go here as a regular lunch spot, but after today I'm not sure I will be back. Sad to say since I think their bento box at lunch is tasty (hence 2 stars instead of 1). No discount or apology for the inconvenience. Very disappointed! read more
