My favorite secret restaurant in town! I take everyone here for the Bento Box lunch specials. For only $10, you can get gyoza, ginger salad, rice, California roll, your choice of entree and rice. They come out hot and fresh in a tray with individual dividers for each food. This means no ginger dressing in your rice and no soy sauce in your salad. I love love love the bulgogi. A thin sliced seared beef that's marinaded in a sweet soy sauce and cooked with onions. Everyone that has tried is has never been disappointed. I've recently tried the teriyaki salmon, a sweet and healthy option that comes with some steamed broccoli and is cooked perfectly. Pair this with an iced green tea for a meal with plenty of antioxidants. It is the perfect option for a healthy and unique lunch option in a beautiful town. Came in here with a colleague for Lunch and the place was somewhat empty. We were seated and my colleague had her baby with her at the time - There was a wait on recieving a menu and so we ordered a bottle of Korbel ($9) and 2 orders of shrimp tempura bento boxes and a mixed tempura appetizer. We asked the server if there was any items "baby friendly" and she offered the clear soup with rice. The wait for the Bottle of Korbel was quick and also the baby's food however the wait for the appetizer and bento's were a long wait and we didnt understand the whole wait due to it was not that crowded for an afternoon eats. I noticed they served the bento boxes and never served us our miso soup -- so we ignored perhaps they forgot it and will serve it later? After everything was served I noticed this location only serves 4 pcs of california rolls and not 8 unlike the Baldwin Park location. It also seemed that this location seemed not as polish and clean compared to the Baldwin Park area. The lady gave us the bill and I noticed that they charged $2 for a bowl of rice UNLIKE Baldwin park they serve extra rice for free .. as a courtesy. Also they NEVER served us our miso soup and the server decided to remove the clear soup of the baby from the tab - I found that okay however they should at least just removed a few more things because the clear soup was about $3.. 2 orders of miso soup costs more than that. The good thing about this location they still had my colleagues debit card after she realized she had left it when we were @ the Sanrio Store. They had asked for her ID prior to handing her the debit card which was a good thing however I warned my colleague to check her bank daily just in case they scanned or took her card # for unauthorized usage. Don't go here if you don't have at least a couple of hours. Today I went there for lunch with a friend and it took them an hour to serve us food from the time we were seated. Once it got there, it didn't arrive all at once. I got my food first and then my friend got part of his food without the main part (meat). No apologies were given, just excuses. On top of that, the California roll was very thin and poorly put together. I used to go here as a regular lunch spot, but after today I'm not sure I will be back. Sad to say since I think their bento box at lunch is tasty (hence 2 stars instead of 1). No discount or apology for the inconvenience. Very disappointed! read more

We were somewhat put off by the reviews, so we were pleasantly surprised by Ari. We ordered our usual plate of 4 rolls for the 2 of us thinking that the rolls would be small since the price was reasonable, and there was plenty for us. I guess we figured that anything associated with Disney would be overpriced and ordinary. We were very pleased. Sitting outside on the patio watching the world go by was a real plus. Celebration is so quiet on a Sunday night it seems surreal, though it really is just a nice little downtown. Thankfully, the 'holiday season' was just starting to crank up but not yet nutty. She didn't know the name of the fish. Hmmm- this is Florida, USA. So I asked for red snapper. She said 'yes, but our fish is not that red, it's only little bit red on the top' haha! Well, finally we ordered udon soup. Guess what! She brings stir fried noodle instead. I asked manager that she ordered wrong food. Ari has become one of my favorite local places to get sushi and sake. I have gone there with a few groups of friends and each time, we had a great time. They have a good selection of alcoholic drinks including my favorite, Electric Lemonade. It's like you're sipping lemonade on the beach with a twist. As far as sushi, they have a variety of types ranging from traditional Rainbow or California to their own creation Lobster Katso. Each time, I try something new and enjoy it. The quality of the fish was subpar, as there was a lot of sinew that couldn't be chewed. They were out of one of the menu items we specifically went there to try (and apparently had been for days.) The bathroom was dirty with a broken toilet seat. We were told that we had to look up the menu ourselves on our phones, which I understand for Covid, but when we explained that a member of our party had a vision impairment and was having trouble seeing it on the phone, our server shrugged and walked away. Such a staple in Celebration! My husband and I have been coming here for years, even before moving to town. The service is always friendly and impeccable. Their bibimbap tacos (a new item I believe) are incredibly delicious and full of flavor. I've always loved all of their sushi, haven't had a bad one yet! Keep up the great work guys!! read more

Great place for lunch with the family. Ordered the tuna kobachi as a starter and it was absolutely delicious! Fresh tasting with a bit of heat, the sesame seeds and masago gives you a little crunch. Also ordered a steak bento box for myself which would have your typical items you usually find: salad, gyoza, and california rolls. Basic stuff, but it serves its purpose. The steak was cooked well. My husband ordered tuna 3 ways which I took a sample of, and if you are a great fan of tuna, this one is for you! You get a spicy tuna roll, tuna nigiri and tuna sashimi dipped in ponzu sauce. This little nook is quiet, clean, and is a favorite lunch spot of mine! There's nothing particularly outstanding about it and the prices are okay. I traditionally get a bento box for lunch and it's under $15. Inside and outside seating available so it's a good place if you want to bring Fido as well. Just would like to preface this with i LOVE chicken fried rice. I'd also like to think that I am understanding so I like to give the benefit of the doubt. I had the serving of chicken fried rice and it was pretty bland. No big deal, for some restaurants it's not the MAIN draw so I can live with this. Now I don't know if it was the last batch on deck and I want to say it was or just a freak batch in general but I spent the next few days in a state of nausea. One of only a couple positives from my dining experience was the quaint location in Downtown Celebration. The other was my somewhat knowledgeable and nice server. Hostess experience: the worst. We arrived with the restaurant half full. No one was at the hostess stand and we looked around for someone to direct if we could just sit down. Eventually the hostess showed up (looking like someone casually dining) and asked us how many. "2" It'll be a 10-minute wait. "Ok". Another couple walks in with the same question and answer. But they got one additional question: "do you want to sit inside or outside?" "Outside" they said. 15 minutes later the hostess comes back up to us and says "I'm going to seat you guys first" while the other couple waited near by. "Inside or outside?" she asked. "Outside please" we answered. She peered out the window and said "oh. We only have one table outside and it's reserved. You'll have to eat inside". So we sat inside. She sat the couple that arrived outside on the patio immediately after she sat us. Server experience: nothing exceptional. Probably worth noting that the appetizer I ordered came after my sushi was served. My boyfriends soup came at the appropriate time. Food experience: it was generic sushi! But can we talk about the menu. I wanted edamame, but strangely enough it was nowhere to be found. So we placed our order, and no sooner does the waitress walk away then I noticed a small card on the table notating four different $4 appetizers, including edamame. Also worth noting was the menus were literally falling apart in our hands. Nothing like an old sticky torn up menu to wet your whistle. We ended up here for my birthday because my first choice was closed. We were seated immediately although they were pretty busy. Our waitress greeted us quickly and was friendly. The atmosphere was pretty nice. We were given the menu which has an extensive sushi list but they also offer bento boxes, appetizers and various items from the grill. I started off with an adult beverage called Pineapple Pearl. It's made with Sake, pineapple juice and vanilla syrup. Can you say yum? I ended up having 2 of them. Since I have a shellfish allergy I opted for the deluxe bento box. It came with your choice of 2 different meats. I chose sea bass and filet mignon cooked medium. It also came with steamed rice, salad, miso soup and something called harumkai which looked like an egg roll. The soup came out first and it was a pretty decent miso soup. It actually wasn't that salty like most miso. My dinner arrived in a reasonable amount of time in a nice presentation. The sea bass was absolutely delicious. My filet mignon was cooked perfect. Everything paired well together. I actually ate everything in my box. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because of the dessert. They have a pretty decent selection but most items aren't made in house. One thing to note that if its your birthday your dessert is free. I chose fried ice cream although my first choice was fried bananas. They were out of bananas. The ice cream came out in 2 pieces that looked like little logs and had whip cream and a chocolate sauce. I went to Seito two nights in a row just to give them the benefit of the doubt. The first night I went, I ordered a simple sushi combination, which really should have taken no more than 30 minutes to make with the rush of the dinner crowd and all other factors included. On top of that, I was seated at the sushi bar and was in plain vision of the chefs who didn't seem terribly concerned that I was just sitting there, getting hopped up on caffeine after about 4 iced teas. After about 50 minutes, I just asked my waitress to tell the sushi chefs to box my food, because I was tired and no longer wanted to eat in the restaurant. It did finally come after about an hour and I paid the check and rolled out. When I got to my hotel room I was expecting to see some unbelievable work from the sushi chefs. Possibly they had taken so long because they had cut the sushi into awesome shapes or something. Maybe they had spelled my name with the fish, who knows. But nothing really. Just fish in a box that should have taken far less time. I was pissed. I went back the next night because I have been on this ridiculous Asian fusion binge and can't get enough of the flavor. I sat in my same seat and immediately the waitress and chefs recognized me and apologized for the wait the previous night (hence the fourth star). I ordered the bulgogi this time and it was really really good. I had a side of seaweed salad as well and it didn't disappoint. I would have given them five stars had I not waited so long for my meal the first go round, but so is life. The food is good, the decor is nice as well. I've visited this location several times before writing this review, but this was probably my worst experience visiting Seito out of all of them. First off, don't come here expecting high-quality, upscale Japanese food. If you want that, visit NYC or LA. The food is ok quality for the price point. But quality isn't the issue, it's portion size. Especially for the Japanese Chirashi. I've had Chirashi in several other restaurants, and I usually receive twice the amount of sashimi (raw fish) than what I received at Seito. Seito's interpretation may have more variety, but only one-two pieces of each. While I've come to expect consistent quality across various visits, the thing that irked me the most was the lack of attention by the wait staff. It took our waiter 4-5 passes by the table before he decided to clear the table of empty entree plates. Other servers, who weren't responsible for our table, did most of the clearing. Seito needs to step up their attention to customer service pronto. read more

I was pretty darn happy with this place! The atmosphere is adorable and warm and super comfortable. It's an easy walk (like anything in this town) from like anywhere and nearby everything. I had a cocktail - the name I do not recall, but it was a take on a mojito with sake and was delicious. I quite enjoyed it. The food was also good. They had a solid age dashi tofu (a dish we are sure to try everywhere) and their bento box was a really fun item to get. The tempura was perfectly done, but I wasn't overly a fan of the kalbi but the bul go gi was pretty darn good. Their miso soup was solid. we were a group of 7 visiting celebration on a Sunday afternoon great stop. It was mid afternoon and we were seated right away. We started with a few appetizers the Firecracker Shrimp was great with big pieces of shrimp. and the pork gyozas and tempura veggies were good. The BBQ Calamari we could of pass on very small calamari and nothing special. THe meals of chicken teriyaki with steamed broccoli and white rice were a good portion and the fried rice could of feed the entire table. Our Sushi was amazing! We had the mango tango, the sweet hear roll was delish( coconut shrimp/ mango and cream cheese) and the spicy volcano roll was AMAZING! Great presentation and we enjoyed our meal. Seito in Celebration is my go-to place when I need a sushi fix. The food including sushi is consistently good and the service is always friendly & efficient. The restaurant is very clean and well decorated. It's hardly ever crowded and the al fresco dining option is always nice to have on a beautiful sunny day. I have tried just about everything on their sushi menu and here are some of my favs: TGIF Roll--All my favorite fish topped with eel sauce. Ultimate Spicy Tuna Roll- Spicy tuna topped w/ more tuna; what more could a girl ask for?! Spicy Volcano Roll--One of the best I have ever had. Mango Tango Roll- Great Tempura batter and the combo w/ mango is fantastic! Mexican Roll- Jalapeno inside a sushi roll---brilliant! Philly Roll--Tried and true favorite They also have great Mixed Tempura appetizer. The Baked Green Mussels are fantastic and the Tuna Three Ways makes a great starter for a group.
