Probably bought at a flea market. We were crushed. I had a combo platter of one crispy carnitas taco at $23. Ground beef. Very basic and lacked flavor. Outrageous for over $20. Wife had two enchiladas a la carte, cheese and green at $13. Mush. At least we have our memories and hope that someone will come along to resurrect it into at least something close to what was.

I frequent this restaurant and always get the same thing: chicken chimichanga with extra cheese and an extra side of sour cream. It is so good, I can't help myself. I eat it with tortilla chips, which are always hot and fresh. The salsa is quite spicy for me, so I dip them ever so slightly in the salsa so I don't totally burn my taste buds off!! The flavor of the salsa is wonderful, just a bit too spicy for me. I get a bottomless soda and they are usually really good about refilling it quickly. This is good because I drink a lot with my meals. The chimichanga is so large that every time I wonder if I can finish it or if I will have to take half of it home. But, each time I end up finishing it. I appreciated that they had a discount for the Morro Bay Winter Bird Festival participants, birding is hard work and we bird nerds need to fill our bellies!! I plan on bringin my family here when they come to visit soon and will most surely dine there at least once a month, bringing cash because they have a credit card fee.

By the way, clean bathrooms are outside the restaurant in a separate building. Parking is all along the water front...no problem. A very nice and surprisingly varied menu is all yours. Dinner menu has more seafood and upscale dishes than the lunch offerings. Both are great. Wife had the sandwich and their green chili soup 1/2 & 1/2 ($13 + $2.50). Really good and different.
