    Shredded beef empanada

As we were driving down Kam Hwy, we noticed a few new food trucks parked by the Leonard's truck. I went to IG to see what they were and then to Yelp to check out the reviews. When I showed my husband the pictures of the arepas, we knew we just had to try them. We finally did the other night and OMG... we are hooked! We tried the chicken and pork arepas and the shredded beef empanada. Everything was so tender and delicious! You can tell it's all made from scratch and with lots of love. You definitely have to try her sauces!!! Our favorite is the cilantro garlic. I could drink it, it's so good! Their food is so good that my husband is there again to grab breakfast this time. We're hooked!

As a Venezuelan I thousand percent approve! Her arepas are huge and with so much filling. The empanadas also have a lot of filling and are also twice the size of normal empanadas so it's definately worth the price. The plates are perfection as the rice and beans are well seasoned. The carne mechada (traditional venezuelan shredded beef) is well cooked and flavor is spot on I've already been 3 times in less than a month and I'll be coming back for sure. Note: It does take a bit of time as her food is fresh, especially for the empanadas, so just know that and be patient because it's definitely worth the wait

First saw this truck on Tuesday and tried the shredded beef arepa. So delicious!! And since the truck was back on Cooke Street yesterday, had to try the chicken arepa. This one was also delicious!! The shredded beef and chicken are seasoned perfectly and are tender and juicy. The sandwich may look kind of small but it's really filling. I could barely finish half of it at lunch. Reheated it for dinner and it was still delicious. Also tried the cilantro guacamole this time. Wonderful addition to the sandwich. Very worth the extra $2. Hoping the truck is back next week so I can try the plate!

This arepas made me transport for a second to my country Venezuela. The flavor is AMAZING! The service outstanding. I would recomend this place a 100%!

Food was delicious. If your looking for something new to try I'd suggest trying out this food truck. Service was nice and there is a lot of parking space around it.

Carne Asada Arepa is so delicious!

I love Ariannas Arepas! Great food and great customer interaction. She's such a friendly human and it reflects in her food. One of my favorite go to spots.

Arepas were great! Fresh off the grill, filled with the perfect amount of filling and so delicious. Service was also awesome!

Lady that helped us at the counter was super nice! :) coworkers said they came here a lot, but it's my first time- so we'll see. :) Okay wait- update on the food. Their stuff is mean! It's been a while since we got some pastele, so decided to phone order for lunch. Simple order, #5…read moreone pastele (hot) and gandule rice, 1 small order of pastele stew, and 1 side order of bacalao salad, and 2 pastele lumpia. Hubs picked up the order and brought home lunch. Side note, the last time I ordered the stew/rice combo, it wasn't enough for the Mr, and since there was rice at home, he ordered the stew separate. I was in a meeting, and would enjoy my food after I was done. As I stepped out of my home office, I see hubs hardly at any stew, and I asked him if he was waiting for me to eat. He said no, and told me "if you want the stew, you can have it". Oh no, I know exactly what that means, so I offered him half of my pastele plate. He said no, and he looked bummed out. I knew I would need to reheat my plate, as it sat for 20 minutes before I got to eat it. While I was reheating my plate, I took a bite of his stew. I had to stop and look at the stew and it looked different. So I took another bite. The taste was ok (not like the amazing stew in the past), but the meat had a different texture. One more bite.....that's when I realized and then asked hubs, "Is that ground pork? Is that why it's different?" And he agreed, "that's what it is! ground pork!" The flavor was a bit off too, but the meat made all the difference. My reheated #5 plate was fine, a little bit salty, but just fine, no complaints. Finished up with the pastele lumpia, which was greasy (usually is unless its fresh) and asked hubs about the bill. Well, I understand inflation is a terrible thing for small businesses and consumers, but my jaw dropped when he said it was $50. And he wasn't a happy camper about the price or the stew. -Sigh- I don't give up easily on places I've enjoyed for years, so I will be back, eventually.

Super fresh, good chunks of fish, super small shrimp though. I will say they aren't the most allergy-friendly restaurant I've been to in that they weren't super willing to make accommodations. Mexican sounded good to everyone so we picked this spot and we're all very happy we did. Our server was kind and attentive. The place was lovely and decorated with just the amount of fun you expect. Some great photo ops in there. He even told us they were having a mariachi band tomorrow and invited us to come back. The food from the start with nachos and salsa to the end with tres leches was all delicious. I ordered the chorizo queso and it was fantastic. My son ordered the guacamole and it was so fresh and limey. Also delicious. My grandkids shared a quesadilla which was definitely large enough to do so with. My oldest grandson ordered a torte and he loved it. Also a generous portion. My son and I both ordered the grande burrito. He got his wet and I didn't. His was served on a plate and mine came wrapped in foil in a basket. I wish it would have also come on a plate. I like to cut it up to eat and the foil made that difficult to do. We ordered the tres leches to go because we were all so full. Enjoyed it the next day. Three of us could share on piece. It's delicious but very rich.

The tables were full initially bc it was HH on the cantina side so we just ordered drinks then went to the other side to order food. A table opened up shortly after then we went to sit but they told us since we got food from the other side we couldn't sit on the cantina side. Service otherwise was average. Got the molcajete which has a variety of meats, rice, beans and small corn tortillas. It's enough to feed 2-3 people. Had some leftovers. Flavors were ok. Not the best Mexican food I ever had but decent.
