Nice new complex in the middle of Mesa. The parking is ample if there isn't multiple events going on. I have been here when parking is back up to the street and unorganized. They do have fees for parking and entry. Bathrooms are available throughout the complex in the style of restroom trailers by the fields. You will have to walk quite a bit as everything is spread out. read more

This place was so much better when it was Bell Bank. Parking "officers" act like the gestapo. Next to no seating inside. Only options for food are chicken fingers or burgers. Now have metal detectors at the entrances, but no security inside to deal with unruly parents or to ensure safety standards are met. This place is destined for bankruptcy a second time. read more

Such a cool concept that was poorly executed. I thought this place was really cool when we first started having sporting events (gymnastics and basketball) here last year, complete with a restaurant to kill some time in between events. However, it's clear that they are having financial troubles and turning to nickel and dime parents. After re-upping for a second season of basketball with Legacy Sports and paying the league dues we were told we were going to have to pay parking by the hour. I mean these are 10-year-old kids we're talking about and now grandparents, aunts and uncles, friends have to pay parking to come watch a game. Also haven't gone back to the restaurant since now I have to pay parking while I'm there. The restaurant prices are already pretty high. Poor way to try to pay off debts that in the end is going to drive away the current revenue. Not only will they not get parking dollars from us They won't get league dues. Our team won't be playing in this league again. read more

I haven't even visited yet but can tell how unorganized they are. I went to buy tix for the circus and there was General Admin and VIP, no description of what differentiates one tix from another. Had to call, no response, had to call again and email, no response finally on the 3rd attempt someone called me back to say it was a Marketing oversight and explained the difference on the phone and that it was in the midst of being updated now online. That was 2 weeks ago, just checked as I was looking to see what time doors opened and still not updated. Also that you don't have reserved seats, its basically general admission and if you have VIP you have to choose from seats in the 1st 2 rows. This place sucks. They spent all their money on facilities BUT make no investment for customers and spectators. It's a Friday and although they have several good option they have only one little hot dog and burger window (a la food court merchant) available. Was here for a soccer tournament paid to see my daughter play. Needed to use the bathroom. The two bathrooms near our field were over flowing. Next we have to pay to park and the tipping point for me was being told by security I couldn't sit on the grass of fields not being used. I have emailed multiple times to try and rend fields for practice. I got tired of no answers so I went in person to ask about renting a field for practices. I spoke with their coordinator Layne and gave her my contact information. It has been over a month with no return call or email. These guys are clowns. If you are in charge of scheduling a sports event or the coach choosing to participate in a tournament, DO NOT CHOOSE THIS PLACE. In addition to over-building the complex so you are fighting with 50,000 people on game day, you have to pay to watch your kids play in a game you already paid for them to play in. Oh, and you have to pay to park at the place you are paying to get into to watch the game that you paid for your child to play in. Biggest joke ever. There are 100 (softball anyway) complexes more fitting than this spot. read more

The place is enormous! Kids everywhere! It has a lot to offer. Be prepared to walk a lot. It's kinda of a bust leaving out of there, traffic takes you in one direction. Only way you're going make it out is they they put in a stop light or have officers directing traffic. Then it's await at a signal. So that part is a joy killer. For mom and day with kids! Our experience at this place was awful. We were there to attend our daughter's club volleyball tournament. First, we walked into the court area, and the noise level was deafening, and I mean deafening!! Couldn't even hear my husband who was right next to me. You had to lean over and scream into each other's ears in order to have a conversation. The players were having a hard time hearing the ref's whistle, let alone their coach. Makes me wonder why they didn't think that some sort of noise absorption would be necessary in a huge room full of screaming players???? Second, and I have found this to be the case quite often at these tournaments, is there is NEVER enough seating for spectators. Tiny bleachers that are as uncomfortable as you can imagine and everyone was squished together like sardines. Third, there were no nets in between the courts (there were about 25 courts in this huge space) and balls were flying everywhere -- flying into other games, flying into people's heads, etc. I felt like my life was at risk just sitting in there! Fourth, the food lines were so long, we didn't even have time to eat during our daughter's hour long break. Completely inadequate to handle the hundreds of people that were in this particular building that day. Last but not least, it's in the middle of nowhere with a dinky two lane road in and out of the place. Getting in wasn't bad, getting out was another story so beware. Just hope that our daughter doesn't have to play here again. Would much prefer a high school gym to this place. Big doesn't always mean better. It was a complete disappointment. read more

We recently experienced the Legacy Sports facility in Mesa, AZ because our granddaughter from Oregon had a soccer tournament there. I cannot tell you how impressed we were with both the facility and the customer service we received. The staff was gracious and extremely helpful. My husband uses a walker and we were concerned about getting on the fields. That was no problem at all, because they had service vehicles that took us directly to the soccer field our granddaughter was playing on. In addition, they picked us up and took us back to our vehicle. It made the experience very enjoyable. If you haven't experienced Legacy Sports facilities in Mesa, put that on your to do list! Here for a Baseball tournament. The facility is out in the middle of nowhere, with a lot of dust. $8 to get into the dust bowl, no food or drinks allowed. Strange at $9am the hard seltzer trailer was open, but none of the other food/drink carts were open. Restrooms were closed for some kind of repair in the brand new facility. I struggle a bit with the rating on this facility. On one hand, its absolutely beautiful inside & once built out will have nice food options, lots of seating & as of the last visit this weekend, finally has internet service available. On the other hand - a small bottle of water is $6!?, there is one road in/out for access (for the largest facility in America - who thought this was a good idea!'??), and they are charging per game on entry & then applying tax to your entry fee? I've been attending tournaments for years and never once have I ever been charged tax on the entry fee until here - ridiculous!! The internal design was not great also as balls were constantly going into other courts since they had a volleyball tournament right next to basketball courts with no dividers between. At the last game - we were interrupted 17 times by a volleyball coming into our court which really throws off the rhythm of the game. read more

This place is an ASSAULT on all your senses, except possibly visually. There is no noise absorption, so your auditory system is attacked incessantly (similar to being at an airplane airshow. Bring earplugs, headphones, or use torn up tissue to plug your ears, as a headache or migraine will still ensue. Then if you are lucky enough to not be assaulted by flying balls (as there are no nets to stop them from catapulting from all other courts) the long lines at the food court will suck the rest of your energy. At that point, you won't care how much the food or alcohol costs.... You will just want the pain that keeps being inflicted upon you to subside. I'm usually into essential oils and natural remedies, but prescriptions meds may be the only thing to get you through tournaments here. read more

I cannot express how much this place drives me insane. Almost seems like a death wish to enter because it's impossible to leave. The heat is something I can mentally deal with, the whole structure to get in and out will make me go mad, and then they want to charge me for it?! Children should not have to walk a mile just to do what they love. People who designed this place should be penalized by eternally driving around searching for parking and occasionally walking two miles to fields and back. Was there this weekend for a softball tournament. The fields are turf, so everything smells like hot plastic and the fields radiate heat, which on a 100 degree day is especially hard on the players. The pitching mound turf on our field had bubbled up in front of the rubber, creating a puffy area that made it harder to pitch/follow through as well. The fields are really far away from nearly everyone, and not only do we get the pleasure of going 30 miles out of our way, we also get to pay for the privilege with a $5/day parking fee and $14 fee to watch our own child play. Having a child in sports/club ball is expensive enough as it is, without gouging even more money out of the parents--especially when there is a tournament fee for the teams to even be there in the first place. Food and drink options listed on the website made it sound like there was a large-scale food court with multiple options; however, the only options were one liquor truck and one taco truck. There are so many options for fields that are better maintained, not as hot, closer, less expensive, and without a million rules about what you can and cannot bring. If I never have to go to these fields again it will be too soon. read more

Terrible parking, narrow sidewalks, mud everywhere, bathrooms practically on the fields, impossible for older or disabled people to get around. You already pay tournament fees to play here and then you have to pay to park and pay to enter. It is a complete scam. this park is way too big and was not designed well at all. Parking is miserable as it can take 30 minutes to find a spot. Then, you probably have a 10-15 walk to get where you are going. Finally, after the game, prepare for the nightmare congestion getting out of the place. There are. not enough entrances or exits because they want to get you through the ticket booth to make sure you pay to watch your son or daughter play. I have been here twice now for soccer games and it is probably one of the worst experiences at a soccer tournament I have ever had. Clubs need to say NO and sign up in tournaments that are much more family/spectator friendly! I don't know how this place will stay in business. read more

Facility could use more signs to show people where public restrooms are. Waited in line for 20 minutes with small children to access 4 stalls in a huge complex. If there are other bathrooms mark them so people can access them and don't lock people out of the ball park areas so they have to walk a mile to get back into the game. The design of this place is horrible, parking a nightmare and the entire complex is not user friendly. Access in and out is so bad it is an embarrassment to Arizona. Arizona deserves better. Ellsworth is bad street with crazy traffic issues. Just not thought out properly. Whoever approved the building of this place should be voted out of office. read more

Poorly planned out and rough experience every time. They have hundreds of youth athletes in the gyms every week and didn't consider the pick up and drop off process. They want all the parents to park and players to walk across the parking lot. The food is over priced and slow. Although soccer is typically free, you pay $9.50 to watch elementary soccer. Volleyball is horribly loud with no sound dampening. They cheaped out on nets between courts and games are constantly interrupted. If you buy a membership in hopes of saving a little money, it doesn't actually cover all events and you have to pay again. Parking on the weekends....awful. Wish we had not chosen the club hosted there. read more

Legacy ownership should really start to think about better service as they continue to lose community support due to rude staff, ridiculous prices and unhealthy food options. I've been to the facility a few times for my daughter's volleyball tournaments. Beautiful facility, but if you're there for 12+ hours it would be nice to have wifi. Daughter was hurt and I couldn't find the medical table. When I finally found it I just so happened to walk past it located in the courts next to a pillar. No signage to indicate where they were. I've seen them in the lobby at previous tournaments but there was a gymnastics competition going on at the same time. Definitely overpriced and you are not allowed to bring anything in. read more

Great facility with tons of potential. However, we were there for a volleyball tournament and the court layout and seating arrangements were terrible with people sitting on the floors. During the day, lights in several sections of the facility went out for several minutes at a time. The food service was slow with not enough seating to eat. And last, but definitely not least, there is zero cell phone service inside the facility. read more

Legacy sports park seems like a great facility but far from it. You have to pay to park and parking is terrible only half the parking is paved. To get into my daughter's softball tournament had to pay as well, not a big deal until you realize the amenities are terrible. Bathrooms were shut down half the time we were there and for as many fields as there are they should have more bathrooms, couldn't bring in your own food and drink except water, and then to buy food it costs as much as going to a professional sports game. Plus the food options are not enough, always waiting in line for a long time, and come to find out there was nothing even available for my child to eat because of her health restrictions. On top of this the director for the tournament RAMSAY HARKNESS!!! His team was playing in his own tournament and during our game calls were made in his teams favor every time even was blatantly obvious it was the wrong call, a runner running way outside the basepath and coming back to the bag to avoid a tag, runners getting tagged 2 feet before the bag being called safe, ball in the circle and runners dancing off the base but not getting called out. I haven't seen calls made that bad anywhere else. You could tell he had umpires favoring his team, and we weren't the only team that had this happen to us, watched other games his team played in and we saw the same thing, but when his team wasn't playing everything was called fairly and just. read more

WORST PLACE EVER FOR SPORTING EVENTS! The staff is useless and just down right incompetent. Multiple players getting hurt at a game and a parent and players are getting heat exhaustion and no employee knew what to do. No carts to transport injured players in a massive facility! Every cart that drove by "wasn't allowed to take passengers"...they were doing NOTHING but driving around and sitting in the carts. No Gatorade or disposable cups in this heat is ridiculous. Covid does not spread on surfaces and isn't spread in outdoor spaces. Get the carts where you can actually help when needed like every other real sports facility. AZ Arsenal is the worst club and should be ashamed of themselves for allowing a soccer game in triple digits at noon when there was an 8 am opening to play. Legacy sports and AZ Arsenal is a joke and hopefully you get sued for negligence of not being able to supply proper first aid. read more
