I would like to begin this review by expressing my disappointment regarding the lack of managerial presence throughout our evening. It was evident that our server, Anthony, was left high and dry tonight. We made a reservation for a party of ten to celebrate a friend's birthday. Upon arrival, we found the restaurant only moderately busy, about 25% capacity. Anthony was an enthusiastic guide, walking us through his favorite menu items with infectious passion. I was particularly intrigued by his recommendations of the pork belly appetizer (a highlight) and the short ribs for my entrée. So I got both. Unfortunately, we faced a lengthy delay, as our food orders were not placed until nearly 45 minutes into our evening. Despite the restaurant's quiet atmosphere, it became apparent that the kitchen was experiencing setbacks. Anthony periodically checked in to provide updates on our order status and assured us that a manager would come by to speak with us. After 40 minutes, we were still left unattended. When the entrees finally arrived, I was among the first to receive my dish. But, it was clear that my short ribs had been resting under a heat lamp for an extended period, resulting in a dry short rib. The cornbread, too, was disappointingly dense, resembling a giant crouton rather than the fluffy accompaniment I had anticipated. When Anthony returned to serve the remaining dishes, I mentioned my concerns and opted to have my dish removed without a replacement. He graciously offered to prepare a take-home option, which I accepted with thanks. The overall quality of the remaining entrees was inconsistent; while some guests enjoyed their meals, others faced similar issues with overcooked lobster tails and prime rib. A few dishes never even made it to our table. Despite these challenges, we appreciated the restaurant's gesture in slicing the cake we brought along, and some adjustments were made to the bill. Throughout the evening, we felt genuine sympathy for Anthony, who appeared to be managing the situation alone. When we wrapped everything up, I mentioned to him "Your managers did a huge disservice to you tonight Anthony." He responded with "I appreciate you saying and acknowledging that." Sadly, it seemed that the management was absent from the dining experience altogether, culminating in a rather memorable, but disheartening birthday celebration. I recently had another delightful experience at Arlo, and it never disappoints! From the moment I walked in, Maddie greeted me with her signature big smile and infectious joy. Her warmth and kindness always make my visits special. She genuinely checks in on my life, which adds a personal touch that I truly appreciate. This visit, Brigette shared her exciting news about her promotion and even helped us with the correct pronunciation of her name. What a lovely surprise! She went out of her way to ensure my mom was comfortable, bringing over a heater since she was feeling cold. Thankfully, we were able to cozy up by the fireplace with the heaters--such a nice touch! Bryan, our server, was, as always, incredibly supportive of our dietary needs. I enjoyed a freshly made decaf latte sprinkled with nutmeg and cinnamon, paired with delicious sourdough toast, eggs, and avocado. My mom couldn't stop raving about her chilaquiles, and she also loved her vanilla latte. Before our meal, I had the pleasure of meeting with Carlo to discuss hosting some events at Town and Country. He took the time to explore various options, venues, and menus with me, which I really appreciated given how busy Carlo is. When Bryan's shift ended, Arlene took over and was equally attentive, giving us just the right amount of space to catch up. Andrew was also great--Andrew maintained a friendly distance while serving our food, ensuring our experience was seamless. What I love most about Arlo is how inviting and fun the space is. With amenities like a volleyball court, multiple pools, a water slide, fire pits, and even hammocks, it's a fantastic place to unwind. Overall, my visit was filled with great food, wonderful service, and a lovely atmosphere. I can't wait to return! We came to ARLO for their DJ brunch experience and had such a good time. I made reservations beforehand and there was plenty of availability, which made planning easy. It was me, my partner, our 2-year-old, and my cousin. At first we were a little confused because we didn't realize the restaurant is basically inside a resort, but once we found it everything was great. We parked in the structure and the restaurant validates parking, which was a huge plus. The resort itself and the outside area were absolutely gorgeous--I'm already thinking about doing a staycation here. We arrived a little early before my cousin, so we walked around and there was so much grassy space for kids to run around and play. My little one loved rolling down the hill and burning off some energy. Once my cousin arrived, we were checked in really quickly. The restaurant itself was also really fun to look around. It had lots of cool decorations and things to see, including signed items and an Anchorman poster, which added a lot of personality to the space. The only small downside was we sat for about 10-15 minutes before anyone came by, but by then we already had our food and drink orders ready. The server did mention the bar was a little backed up, which explained why the drinks took longer and arrived around the same time as the food. The food was AMAZING though. I got the short rib hash and eggs and it was DELICIOUS. My 2-year-old kept asking me for more and more meat . My partner got the chicken and waffles and loved them, and my cousin ordered the Arlo Benedict. We also shared the soufflé pancakes and they were so yummy. The vibe was super fun too. The DJ kept playing old school music and we were all vibing the whole brunch. Between the food, atmosphere, family-friendly outdoor space, and beautiful property, we'll definitely be back! read more

I went here for dinner and drinks with some friends after work after we had heard some buzz around the new elevated dining experience + new foodie find in Mission Valley and we were very impressed! The food was absolutely amazing! There were 5 of us which was perfect because we got to try a lot of their different menu items - perfect for sharing! We tried the deviled pork jar, pulpo & passion, fungi wood fired flatbread, sea scallops & peas, pork belly roll, & my personal favorite the Thai carrot pasta. All of the food had a great presentation and everything tasted so fresh. There was no detail left untouched! We paired our dinner with their wine, they have a very notable wine list as well as some of their specialty hand crafted cocktails. The ambiance of the restaurant was great as well. Everything was brand new and you could tell. There was light music playing and it was an overall quiet evening. It was great because you couldn't tell that you were centered in the heart of Mission Valley. It was great for outdoor dining and perfect for any occasion - happy hour, date night, or a special occasion like a birthday or an anniversary. The staff was very attentive and our waters were full. Our server, Brooke, was friendly and gave us great recommendations on the menu. The restaurant manager, Jarrod, came out to make sure that our dinner was everything we wanted - which it was. Chef Josh (!!!) personally brought out our dinner to ensure that everything looked good. He was so personable, I've never had a chef come out to see a table, that was a very nice touch that they do. I thought I would try Arlo since the reviews were good, well...my experience was not so good. First of all it took 1 hour and 15 minutes before we received our food and we were just about to leave at that point. I thought maybe the manager would have come out to check on us seeing we were waiting for so long but he/she didn't. The waitress did check on us from time to time, she was pleasant and apologized and she eventually comped us for the appetizer. The way other reviewers were raving about the food....... honestly, the food was bland, I was surprised, really at how bland the food was and they charge too much for food that was very ordinary. We had the baked Boursin ravioli, 5 raviolis with broccoli and sauce....no wow factor. The other dish we had was flat steak carne asada......again very bland, no seasoning, the potatoes were tasteless and seemed to be warmed over.... it needed spices, garlic something to improve the dish and the mushrooms were chewy and again, tasteless. I was not charged for parking unlike the previous reviewer. The restaurant is new and probably going through growing pains and could give it a try again in the future but I would not recommend going there now until things get better. read more

Overall, the servers usually do a nice job here. The Maple Halibut was excellent! Entrees are hit or miss but when they are good, they are great. Today, Thanksgiving, the menu had the Seafood Charcuterie with Salmon Pastrami and Octopus on the menu. Neither was on plate when served. Love the Salmon Pastrami -- where was it? Dessert continues to be a sore spot! Ordered two ($14 each) apple pie desserts that tasted burnt and had some flavors that were outright awful. We returned the dessert and bought a chocolate chip cookie next door -- much better. We typically bring our own wine here because we are not fans of the wine selection. This time, the new manager thought a $35 corkage fee was appropriate. In their defense, they did allow us to return the apple pies and knocked off the absurd corkage fee. Fun brunch experience with a great vibe! We went to ARLO for their themed Pitbull "Mr. Wolrdwide" brunch and had a really fun time! The DJ was on point and definitely helped keep the energy going. The atmosphere was lively and we enjoyed hanging out and taking in the whole experience. Service was a little slow and our food took quite a while to come out, but we still enjoyed our time there and didn't let the wait ruin the experience. A couple things to know before you go: ARLO is cashless, so make sure you bring a card. Also, parking in the parking structure was a bit of a mess and could definitely be smoother. Overall, it was a fun experience with a great atmosphere and music. I'd definitely consider coming back for another themed event! read more

Dont count on customer support which is useless. in case the device is faulty and need to be exchanged. I have been trying to resolve the problem with the support. but just waste of time for weeks . they just keep sending a pre-formatted answer with general steps which is foudn on the site too. They dont really focus on individual problem. they never offer for exchange of the faulty hub. I had problem with one camera. I essentially throw it away. got tired of talking to the support and hearing the same repeated answers. the hub suddenly stop working, and need to be reset. it is faulty but they dont want to exhange that. they just waste time till you give up. read more

We made reservations for Arlo a couple of weeks ago for our anniversary. We happen to arrived early and were able to be seated. Our server introduced himself as Dan.
