Totally unsuspecting location but really great little beer garden! We came on a Thursday during trivia night and it was packed! Chill vibes, loved having a couple different drink options (wine/beer/mead), and tasty wood fired pizza. The meadery featured here is apparently quite famous. I didn't try it this time but looking forward to it next time. They do close fairly early (9pm) so come early to give yourself time to enjoy. Was very pleasantly surprised and definitely will return.

It was ok. We got seats on a rail, they do not allow stools on both sides so if there's more than two of you it's awkward trying to talk to the group. Outdoor area isn't really that big. Good music. Beer at the brewery was good and fairly priced. Wine was overpriced and just ok. Had the chicken sandwich from the pizza place. It was good, but not a $20 sandwich.

What a great venue. 3 adult beverage locations in one and a fun food truck type place. We went to the cider place and got the blueberry cider. Very similar to drinking sour beer. I loved it. My friend got a glass of the mead and enjoyed it so much that he went back and got some to go. We ordered food. The Italian sandwich which my friend really enjoyed and I got the pork belly sandwich. Which was everything you think it will be. Pizza looked good. Lots of outdoor seating. Had trivia the night we were there, but we didn't play. Parking is rough but would come back for sure.

Super cute spot for some casual drinks and pizza. Love the outdoor beer garden vibe and that you can order drinks from multiple vendors. I didn't love the wine options, they were all pretty light bodied and I'm more of a medium bodied gal. The pizza was great, the h to the expo was my favorite for sure, we also tried the lemon song but it was a little bland and lacking on cheese. Loved the idea of the lemon but only enjoyed the bites with actual lemon on it. The live music also never came on when we went, but that would have been a great add!

This was a fun spot! Live guitarist last night and a very relaxed atmosphere with heaters. We ordered food from Pizza Cassette which was good but I wish they had another food option as well. My boyfriend wasn't a fan of his IPA from Deft Brewing, but I thought my Bay Park Blonde was good.

The cutest, most laid back place for a chill night out with friends. Loved the communal atmosphere, and the live music matched the vibe perfectly. Great vendors and great service, my friends and I got wine, mead and pizza and everything was delicious. The Sting was my personal favorite, the hot honey was the perfect addition. We also got the H to the Ezzo and added hot honey and it was equally as yummy. Definitely going to bring more friends around to this spot, loved it!

I love the atmosphere of this place. The outdoor, picnic style seating is so fun, especially when there is live music. Not great for chatting though so if you're trying to catch up with someone go during a time with no performer. The pizza is super good and perfect for splitting between two. I had never had mead before either and the flight was the perfect taster, they were all very fruity and sweet which I love.

Really cozy place with all the right vendors in the area. If I lived here I'd come here, it was relaxing and the indulgences were all tasty.

Make sure to make a reservation for outside if you can because it's so beautiful out in their garden! Our server was extremely accommodating and kind. We ordered a bunch of appetizers and a few drinks- their parm fries are so good as well as their buffalo wings. Wouldn't recommend the chicken skewers though they were pretty dry. Also wouldn't recommend their cocktails as they're very sweet and don't have much alcohol in them. Their mango michelada was really good though! For entrees we got the birria melt and the Wagyu burger - both pretty good, would order the birria melt over the burger next time. Overall great experience and definitely recommend this place for some good eats, kind service, and good vibes.

While all Bistro & Gardens locations (including this Liberty Station location) remain intact, the Escondido plant will cease brewing operations by the end of 2026. Our party recently came here to catch the NCAA Women's March Madness basketball final because the TVs at next-door Liberty Public Market were not showing the game. [Parking]: Parking can be somewhat difficult during busy weekends, but there are designated parking lots throughout Liberty Station so it will require a bit of patience and driving around to find an available spot. [Ordering]: The bistro has walk-in-ready tables and customers can simply place orders directly via a QR code without having to speak to staff. Unfortunately, our food order never arrived after 30 minutes so I had to flag down a server to finally get the food. Customers can pay via Apple Pay with an open-tab option available. [Atmosphere]: The indoor bar section has multiple TVs playing different sports games. The outdoor patio section has no TVs. In addition, each table has private Wi-Fi network name with the Wi-Fi password provided alongside the QR code menu. There is even a section for lawn bowling. [Menu]: Some of Yelp's top highlighted items are Brussels Sprouts, Duck Tacos, Poke Tacos, and Fish Tacos. They also offer Impossible Burgers for anyone interested. *** Kung Pao Crispy Brussels Sprouts (Kung Pao sauce, fresno chilies, roasted peanuts, scallion - $14.00): Not bad at all - the Kung Pao sauce tasted better than I had expected as the sauce had a slight spicy kick and not overly salty. *** A solid 4-star for the appetizer, but I have to knock off a star due to the slow service. P.S. - The bistro hosts the Stone Run Club every Wednesday at 6 PM (a 3.2-mile course around Liberty Station).

The Cazuela is 8 hour slow cooked lamb and beans that you make into tacos. We bought it for an appitizer. It was soooo good my daughter ordered a second for her main. Legit 12/10. We also had the ceviche trio. Fresh fish, octopus and tuna. Great presentation. Lacked a bit in the acid department but really fresh. I had the duck mole. I will say I am not a mole fanatic, but in terms of a unquie dish that isn't just standard texmex or calmex, it was "authentic" (I think). Duck wasn't cooked as well as at a great Chinese or French or Thai restaurant. Fat needed to be rendered better and skin could be crispier. Wife had fillet mignon and bone marrow tacos. Meat was tender. Needed more salt and acid. Normally these small flaws would knock it down to 4/5 but the Cazuela said NOPE. Where is the 6? I also appreciate that the restaurant is nice (never seen so many types of tequila) and it's off the main part of old town so no mariachi band, no massive margaritas with an upside down beer in them (although my wife had a margarita and got so drunk she started being nice to me). No world cup fans making a ruckus. Very calm and enjoyable.
