    Potato and egg tacos

Great food! Ordered breakfast tacos and food quality was great! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Excellent ambiance and great experience![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Definitely recommend!

Every Wednesday, my coworkers and I get $1.25 tacos and take turns paying each week. It's an awesome value for awesome tacos! We are able to order online and pick up quickly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is small and bustling, but they move things along quickly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Highly recommend for lunch!

I've only been here for the Wednesday taco special (1.30 each vs 2.25) which I noticed is not advertised. Almost feels like you have to know and ask about it in advance. I wasn't feeling the tacos here, specials or not. The fajita beef was alright but slim on portions and just different. Pork was better. But the chicharron tacos didn't look right nor seemed edible. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Service was fine and the place seemed to fill up.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Just wasn't for me. I'll pass.

If you're looking for a good, quaint taco stand, here it is. If you're hungry for a proper meal, you'll find it here. If you're looking to be well satisfied, it will be here.

Easy ordering. You order on a kiosk machine. The wait can get a little longer during lunch. The tacos are good and tasty. I would eat here again. Good flavor and seasoning.

Authentic Mexican food! We stopped by on a Saturday morning and had the egg, potato and sausage burrito and the al pastor burrito. We also tried the Al pastor and barbacoa tacos and wow. The meat was flavorful and tender. They have aguas frescas and bottled soft drinks. The salsas (red and green)were spicy but flavorful! Service was quick and the staff were friendly.

Small place that doesn't look like much from the outside, but very clean inside and the food is amazing. Real Mexican food in the land of tex-mex. I will be back

Ordered a chicken burrito with sour cream and cheese, no lettuce, no beans. They gave me a burrito with ALL FATTY CHICKEN SKIN (no actual chicken meat) and lettuce. Very disappointed

I placed an order to-go over the phone to pick up for a quick lunch, cheese enchiladas for my husband and the one-meat pastor plate for me. I hadn't been here yet, so I just did a quick perusal of the menu and then ordered over the phone. They cited 10 minutes for preparation and I was there 11 minutes later and the food was ready! The pastor meat plate came over a bed of grilled onions with a side salad and two orders of rice upon my request. With the red and green salsas, it became the perfect combo to eat on its own or with the tortillas that came with it (3). My husband anticipated rolled tortillas filled with cheese but instead received the crispy tortillas fried with cheese inside of them pictured with the review. This surprise ended up great because he loved them! Note the red salsa is not for the faint of heart but is delicious enough to at least drop a few dots of it on whatever you order! There is pretty minimal parking, especially with all the construction happening right now in that area. They do take card payments in person!

Mexicana bfast burrito- good but I would prob choose meat and potatoes next time.

You can't ever have too many good taco places near the house. I came here for breakfast for the first time and grabbed a breakfast burrito to go. While I was waiting I was scanning the menu and was happy to see menudo served on the weekends. The prices here are super affordable and if the burrito was any indicator, their other menu items are going to be just as good. My breakfast burrito, while not huge, was plenty filling and tasted like fresh, especially with the two salsas they give you. Can't wait to return soon and try each of their tacos!

We had seen the place on Yelp and planned to grab something quick to go, but it turned into a great stop. The location is fantastic and convenient near the airport. The hostess was welcoming right away and directed us to the bar so we could place a quick to-go order. At the bar, the bartender gave excellent service and convinced us to try a couple of tacos along with the yuca fries and plantains we originally planned to order--and I'm glad he did. The Tacos Al Carbón were outstanding: grilled fajita beef with sautéed poblano and onion on flour tortillas topped with pico de gallo and guacamole. The steak was tender and full of flavor. The beans and rice were just right, and the plantains with coconut sauce were a perfect addition. The bartender also recommended a Stone Delicious IPA, which made the short wait enjoyable. We grabbed a Tamarindo agua fresca and bolitas de yuca for the road--light, flavorful, and perfect for the drive. Great food, great service, and a great find near the airport. Definitely worth stopping in.

Now, that does leave a lot of unanswered questions, but I'll just assume everything is above board. Fajita vegetables and proteins come out smoldering on a plancha, can't really complain about that. As others have mentioned the chips are no longer made in house, and as a result have the kind of consistency you might expect from bagged tortilla chips. The inside is rather chaotic and could use renovations, however given the rock bottom prices, I suspect you can't have it both ways. Personally I would rather pay more and dine at Lupe's or Animia's, but that's not to say that Ole's is lacking. It serves a unique purpose as the spot you take your rather frugal acquittances or friends to, or as a destination when you already know you're picking up the tab for a large group and are not feeling very spendy. That being said I always default to the fajitas here, the other menu items are not at all bad, just not as strong and lack the same value proposition.

They were pretty good, and who could even quibble with the quality if lunch was $9. Service was pretty quick and nice. Overall a good place to have in the 'hood in a clutch!

My new favorite Tex Mex restaurant. Love the fajitas…read more It was my wife's and my first time here. Kayla gave us fantastic service. Ample seating with festive birthday. The manager also came and gave us free beef fajita samples since he found out it was our first time. The flavor and juiciness of the beef blew me away. My wife and I got queso to compliment the complimentary tortilla chips and salsa and bean dips. I was a big fan of the beans too, didn't think I would be. We ended up getting a trio (beef, chicken, shrimp) fajita 1/2 pound and it was perfect for the 2 of us. You can taste the grilled and charred flavor on the meats. The chicken and shrimp were slightly on the drier side but when combined with the sour cream, beans, guac, cheese, they were perfection. For the two people, the limitation ended up being more the toppings to the fajitas but it was just enough. At about $25 for 2, that was a steal. The queso was about $9. Right before we were about to leave, Kayla recommended the tres leches dessert and you know we had to try it. It was solid. Loved the cream on top. Definitely would come back again!

On our way back from Asia, my husband and I had a stop through the DFW area and immediately decided…read morethat we needed to take advantage of being back near a region that really knows Mexican food. Living in Sioux Falls has many positives, but distinct and deeply flavorful Mexican cuisine is unfortunately still something that's a little harder to come by compared to places like Arizona or Texas. So, we made it a point to stop at Lupe Tortilla while passing through Irving. The first thing we noticed was how packed the restaurant was during lunch. People were pouring in steadily, and the atmosphere had that energetic local favorite feeling where you know people come because they genuinely enjoy the food. Thankfully, the meal itself delivered. Now, was it the absolute best Mexican food I've ever had? No. But it was still leagues beyond most of what we've experienced lately back home in South Dakota. The carne asada especially stood out. The portion was massive, tender, and packed with smoky, savory flavor. You could immediately tell it had actually spent some time on a grill instead of simply being rushed out of a kitchen. We also enjoyed the tacos, enchiladas, and burritos, all of which had that comforting Tex-Mex richness and seasoning that we've really missed. Unfortunately, we were on a fairly tight travel schedule and couldn't linger the way we would have liked. Honestly, this felt like the sort of place where you could easily sit awhile longer, enjoy another drink, sample more dishes, and just soak in the lively atmosphere. Still, even as a quick stop, it was a great experience and a delicious reminder of how much we miss the bold Mexican food culture of the Southwest.

The bathrooms weren't the nicest but also not the worst--one of the stall doors didn't lock, though they had added something to help with that. The inside is pretty nice, and our waiter came over shortly after we were seated. We ordered appetizers and drinks, and the appetizers arrived in about 15 minutes. Unfortunately, the service wasn't the best. Our server would leave for long periods and didn't check on us, even though she passed by our table multiple times and we clearly needed assistance. She also addressed us with very casual language like "yeah," which didn't feel very professional. That said, the food was excellent. Everything starting with the chips and salsa was great--the salsa was one of the best fresh salsas I've ever had. We also ordered the cheese quesadillas, and they were perfect in every way. My entrée was delicious as well; the cheese and meat were cooked perfectly, and the rice and beans were great. (I got the fajita Monterrey) Overall, the food was very tasty, but the service could definitely be more professional. Also, the menu is not very flexible--you can't substitute ingredients (like removing onions from the guacamole) or order off-menu items such as egg tacos, even though they have the ingredients. The food was good, but I'm not sure I loved the service.
