My husband and I went to Armand's Pizzeria to meet some friends. I made a reservation because we were supposed to have seven people in our party. It was still a good idea but there was plenty of room for us to spread out on this Tuesday evening. We started the meal with bread. We ordered three pizzas because we wanted to try all of the dough styles. We ordered a pepperoni on 16" thick crust, sausage on 14" pan, and western on 14" extra thin crust. All of the pizza crusts had their own style but each tasted really good. My favorite was the sausage pan pizza. The crust was thick but soft and the cheese was so gooey. The price was came out to about $30 per person which I thought was reasonable. We had a good experience and would return to Armand's Pizzeria.

I have been eating here for over 30 years grew up at this place haven't been Here in about 10 years!! Now visiting in town and had to order the absolute world famous stuffed artichoke. We used to drive an hour and a half each way just to order stuffed artichokes with our meals as a kid growing up did not disappoint one bit just as good as it was 20 to 30 years ago and at a different location always ate at the original in Elmwood Park. This was so great outside atmosphere was beautiful with the new outside seating (from Covid days) I highly recommend to go on a beautiful May Day!! So service was fantastic with the Chicago ladies yelling at you when you move the chairs and you shouldn't have highly recommend this place for family celebrations, etc. we also ordered two different style pizzas, one thin, crisp, extra crispy and a double dough both are typical Chicago style pizzas and I would rate those at a 7.3 on the Dave Portnoy scale

We had a great meal at Armand's Restairant in Arlington Heights. The restaurant is warm and inviting. We each ordered paste. I went with the Saturday Cheese Ravioli Special and my friend had Vermicelli with Olive Oil and Lemon. Both meals came with soup or salad. I went with the Chicken Tortellini Soup and my fried ordered the House Salad, which was bug enough for the two of us. We enjoyed our meals and the ambiemce. We'll be back!!

Came here this evening for the first time ever with my husband, and it was so good! We are so happy we decided to stop by, and thanks to the delicious food we smelled from passing the restaurant because that was what brought us in here to begin with! From the moment we walked through the door, we had such a positive experience. The man who sat us was extremely nice and personable, and he asked us if we wanted to sit at the bar or on a high top table. We said we didn't have a preference of where we sat, so he sat us at a high top table with large comfy barstools, but he told us that we could sit anywhere that was open if we changed our mind and wanted to sit somewhere else. Next, our waitress came right away and took our drink order. She took our food order very quickly, too, and she helped us with a smile throughout our whole dinner. She constantly asked if we were okay, refilled our water when needed, and asked if our food was okay. For our dinner, we ordered the hot chicken wings, which had a zing and tasted unique when it came to the sauce's flavor. The wings themselves were also large and juicy. For our entrée, my husband and I ordered a medium 12" pepperoni and garlic pizza, and it was amazing. Honestly, the pizza had one of the best thin crusts I've had on pizza because it was so crispy and flavorful. My husband also agreed. The balance of ingredients was perfect, too. We got all of our food out within 30 minutes of sitting in the restaurant, and it was all perfectly cooked. The restaurant was clean, and the prices were not bad for the delicious quality of food. Our pizza had a base price of $16, but then it went up to $20 because each ingredient was $2 extra. The chicken wings were $13.50 for 6 jumbo wings. Overall, both my husband and I were extremely pleased with everything at this restaurant, and we will 100% be back here!

We were able to snag a back table so not loud and we can hear the whole table. We started with the Hearts of Palm salad to share. It was perfect to share with three people as a starter and we all loved the lemon vinaigrette. For entrees - I got the thin crust Garden Pizza special - artichokes, pesto, pine nuts, other veggies. I thought it was delicious and it reheated very nicely the next day. Others at the table - got the salmon, sausage pizza and spicy vodka pasta. Everyone enjoyed. Our server (AJ) was fabulous and joked with the table - he made the experience enjoyable as well as the atmosphere of the restaurant. While we're not in Arlington Heights often, it is a place I would recommend.

The evening began with the sort of optimism that has historically led men into bankruptcy, war, and…read moresecond marriages. The hostess appeared wearing a blue-and-white striped sweater hanging off one shoulder like she'd stepped out of an Italian perfume commercial. Around her neck was one of those little cornicello pepper necklaces, dangling just enough to suggest fate had finally decided to throw me a bone. Blue eyes. Not "blue." The kind of blue sailors used to abandon families over. She laughed at one of my jokes. That was all the encouragement my diseased brain required. I immediately conducted a full tactical assessment of the restaurant. The P.O.A. Index... ...was approaching DEFCON 1. Every direction I looked was another devastatingly attractive waitress carrying Aperol Spritzes with effortless confidence. It was like wandering into a government-funded supermodel relocation program. Then... A shadow fell across the table. A man. Our waiter was a man. Christ Almighty. The emotional whiplash nearly snapped my neck. It's like going to the zoo hoping to see lions and discovering the enclosure has been replaced with an accountant named Kevin. There are beautiful women everywhere, and somehow I'm discussing pasta recommendations with a guy who probably knows three different olive oils by taste. Cruel. Absolutely cruel. To his credit, the b@5tard was outstanding. Friendly. Fast. Knew the menu inside and out. Kept the drinks full. Never interrupted. The s.o.b. gave me absolutely nothing to complain about, which only deepened my resentment. The food, meanwhile, was infuriatingly good. The pizzas arrived looking like they'd been blessed by an Italian grandmother carrying unresolved anger from 1947. Thin crust. Fresh mozzarella. Just enough char to remind you that ovens are supposed to flirt with fire, not electricity. The pasta had that unmistakable handmade texture that makes Olive Garden feel like a felony. The cocktails disappeared with alarming speed. By my third Negroni, I was convinced I could hear Dean Martin narrating my life. Walking out, I glanced back toward the hostess one last time. She smiled. For approximately three seconds I considered abandoning my entire life to become a part-time sommelier with absolutely no qualifications. Then reality returned. The male waiter handed me the check. Four stars. The food was phenomenal. The cocktails were dangerous. The hostess should be classified as an Italian national treasure. And our waiter deserves a raise... despite committing the unforgivable crime of existing between me and the waitresses.

I have gotten to try the garlic bread. and it bodes well as an appetizer. Not too over done on the garlic and the right amount of crisp to the bread. The mozzarella sticks were also a really tasty addition to the meal. The marinara sidepiece was nice , but nothing too special if we're being truthful. As the center piece, the pizza always has some big shoes to fill. The pies, I must say, did exactly that. The flavors stayed true to that classic tavern style we all know and love. The crust was well executed and left me satisfied after every bite. Most definitely one of the best pizzas one can get in the area, and for a decent price as well. Most certainly a top spot to grab a bite at, and great location for trivia too! Can't wait to come back again!

I only ended up there because of the Feral Feline Project fundraiser, and it's a bit out of the way for me. The pizza completely surprised me. Their thin crust is actually thin--crispy, light, and delicious, not the lumpy, doughy crust that so often gets passed off as thin crust. The sausage was packed with flavor, and I was happy to see red onions and roasted red peppers as topping options. The sampler appetizer was another surprise. I expected the usual frozen, deep-fried assortment with that unmistakable freezer taste. Instead, it tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared--not like something dumped out of a bulk frozen food-service bag. The young man at the front counter was pleasant and courteous, which made for an even better experience.
