I can't speak highy enough about the service I received from Armoured Plumbing. I used them last year and they were, without a doubt, my first call when it was discovered that there was a main water line leak a few days ago. I spoke with Barry and he had someone out to help quickly. Alan, who was later joined by Philip, identified the probem and had it fixed within a couple of hours. Both technicians were very professional and personable. I appreciate them taking the time to explain the problem and walk me through their repair. They responded quickly to my call and sent a very qualified plumber out. Al showed up and resolved my two issues within a reasonable amount of time. Best plumbers I have used! They were very friendly, very prompt, reliable, with very reasonable rates. I was very fortunate enough to get them out same day when calling at 8 am, but I would not necessarily recommend that. They called me back to discuss and coordinate the tub spout I needed. As I found out only SETS of shower head, tub spout, and water valve are easily available at the hardware outlets. These plumbers knew we had to replace with the same Delta tub spout for minimum effort and wall impact. They were able to bring the spout with them. They even tested the house main water pressure before leaving to make sure it was in spec. What blew me away was that they completed a tub spout replacement, swapped two new shower massage heads in (that I had bought) in about an hour. Total for the work and tub spout was a very reasonable $210. All plumbers I had used before always started at that rate. All in all, very satisfied, would use as my regular plumber. Barry at Armoured plumbing was one of the nicest guys to deal with. I called him multiple times for plugged drains but I got a backup that was so bad that he had to dig up and replace some iron pipe. He was decently priced and had his guys work fast and efficiently. We own 5 gas stations in Sacramento area and his is our go to plumber. Water was backing up in tub and toilet. After returning from a doctor's appointment I was cleaning up and that's when things decided not to cooperate! Luckily the water was clean but still had clean up duty!! My property management was quick to contact Armoured and they arrived within the time they stated. I don't know honestly what I would have done without this company.   I would give them 1000 stars if I could.  I live alone, have a broken leg and can't leave my house to go outside.  Perfect time for a serious plumbing issue.  I called one company who came out immediately, but came out another time to camera the line.  When they did, they told me it would be $40,000 dollars to fix my issues.  Yes, that is forty thousand.  Again, I'm really vulnerable right now and don't have options.  They wanted me to sign on the line and start the next day.  Armored Pluming came out immediately, assessed the situation, and gave me options.  Ultimately, I went with the more expensive and long term fix which was $8,000. ....YES, I SAVED $32,000 WITH ARMORED PLUMBING. I cannot end this review without mentioning how incredible the staff is to work with.  Danielle and Katherine in the office were always responsive and quick to communicate.  The plumbers did so much work - in a lot of heat - and accommodated my mobility issue (unable to go outside). They were great with my dog even!  Barry, Gary, Rudy, Curtis and everybody else who I may not have seen working under my house, thank you so much. We came back from vacation and turn back the water. The hot water heater started spurting out water. Called and got someone to come out the same day to replace my hot water tank! They replaced a water line which extended from one end of the property to the other end of the property which required removing concrete. Afterward, concrete was poured back and...I couldn't tell that the concrete had been dug up! The water leak was fixed. Plumbing isn't my specialty. My aunt is 104 years old and lives alone. During the rain storms her sump pump was tripped and her entire crawl space was flooded. I looked on Yelp and found Amoured Plumbing. The receptionist had Scott contact me within minutes. Scott was at my aunt's house within 1 1/2 hours. He restarted the pump and checked it the next day. Barry his supervisor recommended a company to come out to vacuum out all the water and level the ground. It was a great company too! Mark came out twice to install a new pump and to light the pilots. Scott was helpful, courteous, prompt and knowledgeable. Barry and Mark were also the best! I was so blessed to find them! Our very old hot water heater started leaking. I called Armoured Plumbing because they provided excellent service when we had a water pipe break inside our house. Each time I called, Barry answered the phone immediately and came out the same day to give me an estimate. With the hot water heater, it obviously needed replacing since it was so old. Barry had a new one installed the same day at a very reasonable price. We received excellent service each time we called. Yesterday was my second time reaching out to Armoured Plumbing in 18 months or so. This time Johanathan was sent to uncap and reroute a gas line for my new gas stove. A true professional, knew what he was doing, and pleasant to be around. Johnathan earned his wage! It was a challenging job, and he was the perfect person sent out by Barry (the owner). By the time he was finished, the kitchen was cleaned up, and Johnathan was on his way. I was so grateful the next day when my new gas stove was delivered. Johnathon & Scott came out to fix a gas line that was put in a bit improperly by one of our previous contractors.. they found a way to make the gas line work without demolishing our concrete and drywall, saved us thousands of dollars, and got our fire pit hooked up and working absolutely perfectly. The owner changed the scope of work after our agreement, and reused old parts in main water shut off valve replacement - parts were over 20 years old. The technician did a great job and was very professional. Will not use this business in the future due to communication issues and high cost to perform the scond shut off valve replacement ($350). read more
