    Mozzarella sticks
    Jaclyn W.

I came here yesterday and ordered two sausage pizza puffs, and an order of mozzarella sticks. The sausage pizza puffs were very very salty. These are the same pizza puffs that you can get at dollar tree for $1.25. But they tasted overly salty. The mozzarella sticks were good. Service was good. Drive thru was quick.

Thursday October 15, 2020 1 order of dry and flavorful chili cheese tator tots

This Review is for Thursday October 15, 2020. so today we did not have such a great experience as the last 4 or 5 times that we have been hear. Honestly not sure if they have new employees or if their is some sort of an issue with serving food here with portion wise. I usually give 5 starts for service and food based on portions, flavor, and etc. Today we ordered the following: 1 order of chili cheese tator tots 1 order of the shrimp basket 2 orders of beef sandwiches 2 orders of funnel fries 2 orders of corn dogs So the funnel fries were on spot as they should be. The shrimp basket is as we had expected it to be for fast food, not a bit issues but it is fast food establishment so we should not have expected anything great. The corn dogs were not great, but not bad either. The problem was with the chili cheese fries, I am unsure if we maybe got someone else's order they did not want or what because when you see the picture I took, it looked as if the chili was sitting out as it looked dry, sadly not as flavorful as it has always been when we would order a chili dog. Our beef sandwich were not dipped what so ever, they were 100% dry, and the meat portion was very stingy for what we payed for. Te last 5 times we had been their they dipped the bread / sandwich and it was all flavorful, the meat portion was nice too, but not sure what happen with our order this time, I am honestly unsure if we will be back after this issue. I guess depend how desperate we are for beef sandwich or hotdog.

    "chicago style"

"chicago style" hot dog accompanied by 15 french fries. hit up madveks or munster gyros instead. quality here is no more

These hot dogs are GREAT. I prefer to eat those dogs PLAIN. That's right...plain! They are so juicy and tastey, I don't want to disrepect these beef franks with just simple condiments like ketchup or even mustard. Now with Grey Poupon or some other high grade deli mustard, that would be PERFECT. This is definetly where "Dog Bites Man".

Over $8 for this?!? And I asked for ketchup, mustard and pickle. What a joke.

It would be nice if they had staff that didn't mumble the entire time. Seriously, kids, try speaking clearly.

Not much value and it seems to be a struggle to keep up with dirty tables. Very friendly but not very efficient or comfortable.

We thought we would have to wait till we drove to Chicago for good food. This place is welcoming, charming and modern. I ordered the sea bass with vodka pasta and my husband the lamb lollipop with roasted potatos. Both were 10/10. We are very picky and self proclaimed foodies. For dessert we shared the tiramisu. It was good. 9/10 for small size and a tiny bit dry. The flavors were well balanced though. We sat on the Fiori side but had a choice of sitting on either side and can order from both menus. What a great concept.

Their standard menu does not feature their vegan options, so we had to wait for the waitress to come back around again to ask for this. Unfortunately, the Vegan Chicken Breast was crossed off, so I'm not sure if that will be coming back. I went with the Vegan Reuben, a reliable standard, but it was terribly disappointing. It prompted me to pull up my photos from our previous dining experience there, and the sandwich looks so much more unappetizing. The current sandwich is wet, pale, and oddly sweet. The color and texture are so different, so I'm not sure what they've changed from their original recipe.

We started with drinks--he had an Old Fashioned and I ordered the Versant Twist--and both were absolutely lovely. We skipped appetizers to save room for dinner and were so glad we did. He ordered the Dolmenico Ribeye and I went with the 12oz Filet Mignon. We shared grilled asparagus, loaded steakhouse mashed potatoes and sautéed mushrooms and onions. Everything was so incredibly delicious that I completely forgot to take photos--which says a lot. Ryan, our server, was fantastic--attentive, friendly and made the whole experience even better. Honestly, we haven't had a steak this good while dining out in over 20 years. We will definitely be back very soon.

We took my mother there to celebrate her 84th birthday and had a party of about 20 people. The side room we occupied was too dark for my liking. The employees were nice. As for the food, Rosebud Steakhouse is known for its steaks, and the 13-plus people in our group who ordered steak said they were good. However, one steak did have to be sent back because it was overcooked. I ordered the chicken sandwich, crab cake, macaroni, and broccoli on the side. The macaroni and chicken were oversalted, the broccoli was over-peppered, and the crab cake was undercooked. I packed my food up and took it home, where it ended up sitting in the garage. They do have a full bar, which was a nice bonus. Overall, if steak is your thing, this is the place for you.

We ordered the Black Bullet party pack which comes with two pounds of brisket and two large sides. We went with fries and beans, and also added ribs, mac and cheese, and buns to the order. The brisket is still the star of the show. The spice rub on it is perfect, and it's so tender that it's unreal. The fries are exactly the kind of battered fries I like which was a pleasant surprise because I feel like not many places do them that way. The beans were okay... a little sweeter than I personally prefer, but they had huge chunks of pork in them that I definitely appreciated. We also added two slabs of ribs, and they fell right off the bone. I'm usually not a huge ribs person, but these were well cooked and flavorful. Mom loved them, and that's what really matters. We did have a few small issues with the order. We realized that our mac and cheese was unfortunately missing when we got home. They also ran out of pretzel buns midway through packing things up, so we ended up with a mix of pretzel and brioche buns instead. Honestly, we didn't mind that one too much because it gave us a chance to try both (I'd pick pretzel if I were you). When we picked up the order the place was absolutely packed, so it was hard to be upset over an honest mistake. They were clearly incredibly busy. I still don't really care for the sweeter sauce that tastes heavily like peppers to me, but their vinegar-based sauce (which I think is their original?) was much better than I remember. I'm glad to see this place is still around and still holds up after all this time. More importantly, the brisket is every bit as good as I remembered.
