It was a Thursday afternoon and we had stopped at Arnie's for lunch. Merrit, came to serve and take our order for lunch. She was fun, friendly, and very good at her job. We quickly order with a few excellent recommendations from Merrit. The food arrived quickly and everything was delicious. As my friends and I enjoyed our conversation, Merrit was present but never intrusive. Our drinks were never empty and if we needed something Merrit was never far away with the help we needed. We finished our meal, thanked the team who served us for a great experience and promised to be back soon. If you are looking for great food, great service in well appointed and designed restaurant, it's hard to be Arnie's. If you want to add extra to the experience, ask for Merrit. Good pizza and I really liked the small pepperoni pieces. I would highly recommend getting a medium or large pizza - they do a much better job of putting an appropriate amount of cheese on the bigger ones, but the two small (personal) size ones we got had wayyyyy too much cheese and were inedible. read more

We are visiting Indiana for a Show Choir Competition and heard great things about Arni's, so we decided to try it. We had a late lunch and it was absolutely delicious. Cheesefries were perfectly layered with cheese and bacon. And the Ranch... so so good. Chicken Quesadilla, my husband said was probably the best he has ever tasted. Cheese pizza, one of the top 5 pizzas I've ever had. And DO NOT SKIP out on the brown butter cake. The only thing wrong with that beautifully plated and phenomenal taste is that we ate it all and there was none left. HIGHLY recommend this restaurant. Great food. Great service. Clean. We tried to order online. The website offered Google Pay, which showed my credit card and personal information including my email address. I thought the order had confirmed and was paid for, but when we got here, they said they had not received the order. I would give zero stars if that was an available option. This is a great family restaurant that sells amazing pizza, wings, craft beer. My kids loved the kids menu as it has lots of options. I love the pizza with the tiny diced pepperoni and/or sausage. It's like an amazing pizza king. I'll be back for sure! read more

Overall, I really like the atmosphere of Arni's. Place is clean and nice for a pizza joint. Pizza is overall good but not great. I've had several of the specialty pizzas which all were good but nothing stood out as fantastic. Service is usually very good with no issues getting food out quickly and fast. Only one time have I had slow service. Overall, great place to get a pie. read more

This is just a good casual restaurant with a laid back bar. Think Chili's/Applebee's/TGIFridays, but good. They are known for their pizzas which are pretty tasty. They do a lot of carryout business and there is a dedicated side entrance for just that. read more

We typically order take-out and it's always delicious! We have ordered pizza's from here in the past and the hot Sicilian sandwich a couple of times. Today, we ordered the chicken broccoli fettuccine, added spinach, hot Sicilian sandwich, and the Junior salad with egg and tomato. We really wish the salad was spinach, or a spring mix, and not iceberg lettuce. Also, I would recommend different meat options on the chicken broccoli fettuccine, the chicken was chewy. The sauce on the pasta is tasty! The French fries with the sandwiches are crispy and seasoned great! Customer service is great here. You definitely get your moneys worth of food. We dined in and the service was really slow. Arni was not busy so not sure why service was slow. My other half did not like the entree of salmon, Brussel sprouts. The brussel sprouts, fries were mushy and the salmon lacked flavor. I enjoyed my Caesar salad and the shrimp appetizer. Love it. There is the whole story of Indiana Pizza King. The brothers selling the recipe to Arni. Now Arni's has the pizza king recipe. I think it is true - and if you know otherwise, just don't tell me :). I grew up on Pizza King pizza. Arni's takes the great pizza I grew up on and adds a cool restaurant with other great food options and great staff to the mix. If you order carry out, there is a back entrance to get in and out along with parking for carry out. Use it! I love the pizza, I love the other food too, but I always get the pizza. They have outside seating if you like that. If not, the inside seating is a fun atmosphere too. Also - if you sign up for the birthday club - free personal pizza on your birthday! Arni's has excellent food and salads. Unfortunately, they are plagued with the same problem a lot of other restaurants have: Poor customer service. Its too bad. A lot of these places are blaming the economy for their failure. While it may play a small part, its definitely customer service that is causing the doors to close. read more

Today, I did a carry out order. I went in the front door, however, there is a side door for all carry out orders. :) I was promptly waited on. The lunch special seemed the way to go. Arni's junior and 7" pizza. It cost $16.88 for the lunch special. The salad is always the same here. Which is great! Taste great every time. I really like how the cheese is super micro pieces! Yummy! They have the best blue cheese this side of Texas! It's so delicious! Speaking of Texas, they throw a piece of their delicious Texas Toast in a bag, too! The pizza here is also the same. Again, this is a good thing. Knowing what your going to get no matter what Arni's you go to is important to me. Arnis is a classic and a go to for my family. There is a little bit of everything for everyone! They are known for their pizza which is great but I love trying out different things on the menu as well. This time around we got the cheesy garlic bread appetizer per usual. I wanted to try the Ava rose chopped salad. First off it was huge! I had it for lunch and the rest for dinner. Which it lasts in the refrigerator and doesn't get all soggy (huge plus). My mom and brother got a cheese pizza for the table. Again great portions and easy to split among a few people! I want to give this restaurant an incomplete rating rather than three stars because I had a pizza I really didn't like much but I think the problem was more in my taste buds than with the pizza itself. I'm trying to discover what the best thin-crust (aka Tavern Style, depending on your preference) pizza place is in this area after having tried Monicals (which was EXCELLENT, please see my review on that place!). Arni's is around the corner from where I live so I came by on a not busy weeknight. Decent crowd but not noisy. Nice, big, homey feeling restaurant with terrific servers (Taylor was mine) and a host and manager who seemed to take a keen interest in whether I was doing well and enjoying my pizza. I ordered an iced tea and only one other thing - a pizza called Aiden's Big Show. It has Italian meatballs, pepperoni, onions, extra cheese, and garlic Parmesan cheese. I asked for black olives (love 'em) rather than onions (hate 'em). And you should also know the pizza is topped with marinara sauce. So the pizza was fine. I finished it, very filling. However, I was initially displeased that rather than having small-medium-large pizza options that included a12", instead their medium is a 10", and the next size up is an 16 or 18", I don't remember which I was told and for some reason the menu doesn't say (nor does it even say it's thin crust pizza, it doesn't mention crust options at all). All of this is no bueno. I don't know how tiny their small is, but I'd consider a 10" a small and if you have smaller than that, it's like a personal pizza you get at the ballpark. A 12" should absolutely be standard. A 10" is too small and an 18" is way too big. Anyway. The pizza was filling because of the marinara sauce, which really served to only do two things: 1) Make the pizza taste like spaghetti; 2) Soak the crust and basically make it useless/tasteless. I didn't think any of this was good. So when I come back, I'll order something different. Most folks would probably enjoy that pizza. I can tell you traditionalists who love real thin crust would have a stroke if they were handed a pizza like that. I guess it all depends on your, well, tastes. read more

We tried Arni's for the first time with three teens in tow. We all loved it! The kids had burgers big enough to fill up these starving 16-year old boys. The three adults enjoyed the meatball sandwich, tenderloin sandwich, and chicken tenders. Appetizer loaded nachos were delicious. Our server was helpful and attentive and the food all came out hot and fairly quickly. All in all, an enjoyable meal. We'll definitely return. read more

My husband is originally from Lafayette, Indiana. Every time we come back to visit, we eat at Arni's. Yesterday, November 21, was his birthday. We were in town to visit family. All he wanted was for his family to eat dinner with us at Arni's. I'm sorry I don't know our waitresses name but she was wonderful! There were 13 of us. We never waited for anything. We had a party of two that visited for dinner the other night. Neither of us had ever ate here, but have heard nothing but rants and rave about it. I can certainly tell you that those rants and raves were everything we expected. We ended up ordering the Mozzarella Sticks for an appetizer, and the 26 inch "Aiden's Big Show" Pizza. The Mozzarella Sticks were nothing special, and they were cold too. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt on that one, because it was a very busy Friday Night. As for the Pizza, it was absolutely phenomenal. I absolutely loved everything about it. Plus, it was different than any other Pizza I've eaten. It had textures and flavors of its own. It was packed with fresh meats, cheeses, and the sauce was very well seasoned. It was cooked to perfection; chewy on the inside and crispy on the edges. It was like a upgraded and improved version of Pizza King. The staff was very friendly, the ambience was beautiful, the facility and bathrooms were very clean, and the overall experience was flawless. We will definitely be back! read more

I have always loved Arnis but I agree with others that something has changed. I have always gotten the chicken parm, but it is now $15! Wanted pizza for dinner on the 4th. We weren't celebrating but staying home with a very high strung terrier that hates fireworks. Went to Arni's online ordering. Ordered a pizza and a stromboli at about 6:55pm. Said it was going to be ready for pick up at 7:25pm. Google Map says they are 7 miles from us, it takes about 20 min to get there and get back. Once my husband got there he called me and told me they were closed. I said it let me place an order and I got an email back confirming it. I told him to head back home and I would figure out second choice for pizza. After placing an order online for a different pizza place and sending my husband there, I went in search of how to contact Arni's. I called and it rang and rang. I thought they might have voice mail but no. Went to their facebook page and saw that they had a post that "all" their locations would be closed for July 4th. And then it listed some places that would be open? I sent a Facebook Message with a screen shot of my order. I then went to Arni's web page where it didn't mention that they were closed. They have a contact us area and I sent all my info thru that too. I got a message back from Facebook "Sorry they closed at 6pm for the holiday. Someone would contact me about this. Sorry for the inconvenience". I got a voice mail today since I wasn't able to answer my phone when they called. "Sorry for the inconvenience. They forgot to turn off the online order system when they closed early and people were able to place orders. The credit card will be reversed". Sounds like I wasn't the only one. No offer of a pizza in return for a 30 to 40 min drive to the East Side. I just think that's really poor customer retention. I will say the second pizza place made us probably one of the best pizzas we've had in a while. read more

We visited Arni's on a Saturday around 5pm. It wasn't super busy which was great. The servers were quick and kind. We ordered the boneless Buffalo wings and medium pizza (see photos). I wasn't really a fan of the wings; they weren't as well seasoned or crispy as I would've hoped. They remind me of Buffalo Wild Wings. However, the pizza was great! My boyfriend ate almost whole thing but he did let me have a little slice. The sauce was on the sweeter side and it was packed with toppings. Added a little Parmesan and crushed red pepper 11/10. The owner or manager also stopped by our table. She told us about the new renovations, it was really nice on the inside. We'll probably go back soon! read more

I hope to Arni's for the Arni's Jr salad with honey mustard salad dressing, period! I crave it, it is delicious, and I am sure it is not on any healthy eating list, but who cares. It comes with garlic bread and make sure you get that too. I am not a fan of their pizza, although they are known for it.
