I called and ordered carry out on my way home for dinner. When I arrived I was greeted and was told to go to the bar area to pick up. I gave them my name and then said I had a Yelp check in offer, I had previously checked in and not used the offer. The person working the check out counter, Nick, asked for a manager to come over to help put in the coupon offer, $12 off a Large pizza. A woman manager came over and looked at the coupon on my phone and said "We don't do Yelp!" and just starred at me and then walked away. She was very unhelpful and rude. Another male manager was watching in the kitchen and came to help and offered a different coupon to make it right. I'm not sure how you can offer something and then claim you "Don't do yelp" when the offer was valid, there wasn't an expiration date. I love Arni's and I am from Lafayette/West Lafayette, so I've had it my entire life. The pizza is always good and the Arni's jr. salad is my favorite! I would suggest getting ranch and french dressing. The only reason I gave 3 stars is because of the woman manager, she just wasn't helpful and was not kind. Maybe she doesn't care for Yelp? Visited Arni's for the first time with the boyfriends family. They grew up going - this was my first time. It as fun to see them get excited about certain menu items they used to always order and speak about the memories they had. The outdoor patio is large and spacious was is great. The facility was clean and the staff was attentive and friendly. I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap and fries and it was really well done. The chicken was juicy and the spice level was just right. The fries were crispy and cooked perfectly. The waitress was always on top of our group to make sure we had plenty of water and refills and bussed the table with good speed. Arni's is one of our go to spots here lately. They are currently offering pickup or dine-in. We've only done the dine-in option. However we've sat both inside and outside. Both options they do a very good job with social distancing and cleaning between customers. All the staff are in masks and take every precaution to keep you feeling safe. They also have disposable menus and condiments. I ordered the mushrooms for an appetizer. They were filled with cheese, tomato sauce and something else. But they are delish! For dinner, I had the wedge salad and the deluxe pizza. The wedge salad has both blue cheese dressing and balsamic with real bacon, caramelized red onions and of course a wedge of lettuce. The deluxe pizza is a thin crust with sausage, pepperoni, green pepper, onion, mushroom and I always add extra cheese. Now the drink...they have a special on Long Island ice teas in a HUGE mug for $10! This drink is definitely potent. It only takes 1. The hubby and I had a long day waiting for our car to be serviced. After the first couple hours we were starving. We borrowed a car from the lot and headed out for lunch and decided on Arni's. Neither of us had ever been and to be honest we were underwhelmed. Maybe it was just an off day but the service from our server wasn't good and the food was just meh. The people that greeted us and seated us were super friendly and it seemed super clean and nicely decorated but we were just disappointed. I'm hoping they were just having an off day. I had heard that the pizza here was delicious, so while we were sick at home, we ordered delivery and loved every bite. I got pepperoni and pineapple on my pizza (yeah, that's right... I'm team pineapple) and I liked how crispy the thin crust was. You also could barely tell that it was the gluten-free version. The pepperoni was diced up and therefore cooked into the sauce and in every bite, but I personally prefer the big pieces of pepperoni so I can take some off and manage the pizza's saltiness level. I'm really surprised I haven't reviewed Arni's yet -- we've been coming here for years, starting at the original Indianapolis location by the Pyramids over 25 years ago. We spend much of our time in Chicago now, but were in Indianapolis for a few days and decided to stop at Arni's before leaving town. Why? Because I miss their Arni's Junior salads terribly. I can't get anything at all like it in Chicago, and I've tried making my own but have failed miserably. This is the only salad I'll regularly order as an entrée, and I often have a 7" pizza on the side, half of which I usually take home with me. This time, as always, our meal and the service were excellent. We were glad to see as we walked up that there's an outside patio -- we'd never noticed that before. We have a really low risk tolerance during COVID, and it was 71 degrees and the patio was empty when we arrived, so we decided this was where we belonged. It wasn't as comfortable chair-wise as inside, but to get my favorite salad with a side pizza, it would do the trick! So we started our meal there, but a cold front moved through while we were eating, the temperature dropped 15 degrees and the wind whipped us as we struggled to stay warm (there's a nice roof but no heaters). So eventually we ended up moving inside after we'd finished our food, to comfortably sit and finish our drinks in a socially-distanced booth in the back corner of the bar. The food was excellent as always. As I'd mentioned earlier, the Arni's Junior salad is something I'm not able to find anywhere else, so I always order that. It's full of lots of cubed turkey and ham, coarsely grated mozzarella, some chopped green onions and sliced radishes, and a few croutons. We also love the pizza. My favorite is the sausage and pepperoni (both meats are generously crumbled on it), and my husband loves the Big Daddy Meat Craver. He always orders a medium and takes some home. The toppings are always edge-to-edge, and plentiful. The day we were there, the Long Island Iced Tea mugs were on special -- yum! We lucked out! We each had one, and savored them well beyond when we'd finished our meals, after we'd moved inside into the warmth. Overall it was a great experience! We look forward to going back again soon! The must haves are the Arni's jr, the Stromboli, the Italian sandwich, the garlic bread, a sausage/pepperoni pizza, a plain cheese and a deluxe or bbq pizza. Yes it's a lot but you have to try all these things! The best pizza you will ever have. So happy there's an Arnis in Indy! The pizza is thin crust with a zesty tomato sauce and small pieces of mozzarella and pepperoni and sausage. It's all crumbly and delicious. If you haven't tried this place -try it! It's okay. They're short staffed but they definitely try to make up for it. They're all very friendly and are hustling. We each got different 10 inch pizzas (two of us) and. Meh. It's on a premade crust so it's def not hand stretched dough which is a disappointment. The toppings are fine. Sauce could be jazzed up to be better. It definitely needs garlic and oregano and even salt. But it's alright. Jambalaya (spelled Gumabalaya on the board) was pretty good. Nice spice! Side salad was good, as well. We've gone to Arni's for 30 years and the food has always been good. Service over the last few years has not been good. Even before Covid it became very slow. Not enough help ever. Portions on sandwich got smaller just like other reviewers have said. I still order the gut buster even though it's not on the menu at 96th street location. Don't make food smaller, change the price it's worth it!! Arni's junior salad the same. Great salad but it's smaller. Cheese bread is awesome and love the marinara, chunky. Mozzarella sticks had an onion flavor probably from cooking in the same oil as onion rings. I called the manager of the 96th location and his response was "its a DoorDash order. We don't help with errors we make on DoorDash orders". I asked if it does not concern him that his staff keep not putting orders correctly for the driver and his response was "its DoorDash so we just don't deal with it". Arni's in Brownsburg is a 10!!! Our family totaled 26. They seated us outside to accommodate our large group. The service was impeccable! Trinity was our server and I believe Charity was the manager. My wife and I experienced Trinity's service before she has got to be one of there best servers! Charity was constantly checking in on us to make sure we had a great experience. What a TEAM. Thank You for making our celebration of our first granddaughter to graduate from High School a great experience. Voodoo Pasta is delicious. Menu is extensive so you will find something for everybody. Drink are limited but there are some great craft beers.Korean-meatballs are good too. You would like Chicken fettuccine here. Chillies are always good, here I found Chicken Chilly Wings with hot dry rub were good. Good food accompanied by great service always wins. I met a friend for lunch at Arni's on 96th St. We arrived at 11:00 when they opened and had our choice of seats. I overheard the discussion at the hostess stand that there were only 2 servers today. They must be superheroes because it was never noticeable! We both ordered a soda and the lunch special: Arni's Junior Salad and a pizza with 2 toppings. This salad stands alone! Finely diced turkey, ham, and cheese - it's always good! My thin crust pizza with pepperoni (finely diced) and mushrooms was good - gets the job done with leftovers even! I think the salad is the star. Lunch came to almost $20 each and it was very relaxing. My friend and I were so busy catching up, we were surprised to see how crowded it was when we left at 1:30! I've eaten at Arni's for over 20 years when I visit Indy, starting with the location on 86th Street which I heard is closed. I walked into this location, and I was impressed. The atmosphere is almost a dress-up or dress-down kind of place. Other diners ranged from couples eating quiet suppers to the side and a large table of little leaguers celebrating a win...or a loss. Couldn't tell, 'cause everyone seemed happy they were at...Arni's. We started with a chicken quesadilla appetizer--six slices served piping hot with cool salsa and sour cream. It was a nice start. Next up was a 14" deluxe pizza--the dough was great, and the ingredients fresh and tasty; even though they were baked, the onion and green pepper were still crispy. I've enjoyed eating Arni's food for years and this is the first time I recall being seriously disappointed. I ordered a small (10in) 1/2 Bbq and 1/2 Sausage and Onion with extra sauce and paste plus extra cheese. The pizza was well made. But something changed with the ingredients. I think the sausage has too much herb (Stop that. I'm referring to Italian seasoning. ) Don't get me wrong. I love Italian seasoning; but the pizza tasted like someone just dumped it in the sausage and served it. It's too overpowering. I hope they switch back.
