It was my first time here and it was great. I needed a haircut and Gohar did a fantastic job. When I made the appointment, I sent a picture of the style I wanted and Debbie, the owner matched me with Gohar. Gohar and I talked about it briefly when I got there. After I changed into a smock and had a shampoo, she began cutting my hair without hesitation. I could tell she was very experienced and knew exactly how to cut it. The results were terrific. I called in this morning and got a acne facial this afternoon! Silvana was amazing! She really talked to me and we did the best treatment for my skin type. The owner Deborah is so wonderful. She was very helpful scheduling my appointment for me and even introduced me to other staff members. I mentioned that I wanted to get a haircut and my nails done with them sometime too and she walked me right upstairs and got me a nail appointment within the hour and a haircut next weekend! I love Gohar, she is simply the best colorist and stylist I have ever had. I was referred to her by a friend over 6 years ago and I have been going to her ever since. No one does color better and she always goes above and beyond, and always fits me in on short notice. Her prices are very fair and she even throws in deep conditioning to protect the color (complimentary) which I have been charged a lot for at other salons. I've been going here for over a year now and I love it. There are many hairstylist, a manicurist and facialist and the ladies who work here are super nice and friendly. My hairdresser Hana is amazing, she is good with color, cut, style and blow drying. She's efficient and I never have to wait, if I have an appointment she starts as soon as I walk in. I've grown up at this salon. Ive had my haircut with Mashid and Allah since I was seven. I love the owner and her warm and welcoming personality. Gohar is the best. I've been having my hair done by her since she worked at Carlton in the Glendale mall. I've moved farther away from the salon over the years and sometimes it's hard for me to get over there but I always find my way back. She definitely knows her color and has never dried my hair out, and my hair gets dry easily. I get bored easily and change up color a lot. She has always found a way to fit me in even when I call last minute and her prices are reasonable too. PS: Her assistant is fabulous! read more

I am a longtime Arnol Salon customer and love their many services. I was "the lady in the chair" described in the above review by Julia G. and believe her review is way off base. It would make me very sad to think her review might keep anyone away from the salon, especially because she erroneously believes I work at the salon, which I do not. I was simply there with my daughter as she got a haircut. First, I was laughing Julia, but not at you, and am so sorry you thought otherwise. I absolutely did not call you a silly girl, but I am sorry you felt mistreated by me. I was merely trying to be helpful. You were asking about nails, our stylist thought you were asking about hair and I was just trying to clear things up, laughing a little in the process, and direct you a nearby place where you and your friend could find a walk-in pedicure. I regret any part that my behavior, however misunderstood, played in this very unfair and inaccurate review of a very fine establishment. Arnol Salon provides wonderful hair, skin, brow and nail care services and has many talented people on its staff. I have been a satisfied customer for more than 15 years and highly recommend the salon. It does not cater primarily to walk-in customers, so it is best to call the salon to schedule your desired service. You will not be disappointed. Its pretty awesome that even when the salon is technically closed, I can still get my hair done there. I love the convenience. Alla K. - I don't recommend her. Wish I would've seen the yelp reviews before she put her hands on my hair. Let's just say it wasn't quite what I wanted. I got highlights (I didn't want that much but she went to town) and she had to correct the color twice after the original job. The cut was ok, however the pieces she was trying to color correct, I asked her to just try to cut it off and it just wasn't working out so that's when she colored it a second time. When we complained, she did not take to the criticism well and was visibly mad. She even started blow drying my hair kind of rough. Everyone else there seemed nice and polite. read more

LOVE this salon! I was given a gift certificate to try the salon, and now it's the only place I will ever get my hair done. Gohar always does my hair and I love it every time she does it. Lidoush also does my eyebrows and they always look fantastic. I also get my eyelash extensions here and I absolutely love them. All of the employees are incredible at what they do. I went here to get my hair done and had Alla. She was very pleasant and I could tell has lots of experience with hair and color. I think she did exactly what came out of my mouth, but next time I will be armed with photos and be more descriptive. She cut my hair shorter than I wanted, and the cut was not at all my style. This place is really nice with lots of windows and very clean. I felt right at home when I first entered this salon. It's been a while since I got my haircut and I am still frustrated over it. Every morning I spend at least half an hour to 45 minutes trying to blow dry my hair, but when the hair cut is bad no matter how long you stay in front of the mirror its never going to look good....The rest of the stylists might be good, but Elizabeta is not.
