I made an appointment with Lilit and she KILLED IT. My hair did not move. Curls were all in tact. My hair was so intact that it was difficult to undo the next day. I swear it's like they put superglue in my hair. Took a lot of conditioner to get it out. But it made for amazing photos. I booked a makeup Appointment with Valentina who also works at the salon, but you need to book with her separately through her Instagram link. You pay Valentina separately from the salon too. I was able to get ready in the salon and go on my merry way. Pricng is fair for Glendale and the excellent quality of work. read more

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I attempted multiple times to book a service with Nina Momdzhyan, their makeup artist, and she cancelled repeatedly without explanation or apology. On more than one occasion, the cancellation was last minute -- despite the fact that I was willing to drive over two hours for the appointment. Communication was extremely poor, and there was no consideration for my time. If a service is listed and being offered -- especially one clients are paying for -- it should be honored. And if it's no longer available, that's completely fine -- but be transparent about it. Don't continue allowing bookings only to cancel at the last minute. Very disappointing experience. Came here multiple times for various services such as color (air touch balayage), cut, styling for special events and even make up.. but recently I was really disappointed! I came multiple times for quick blow drys with either Ani or Rozali, while I have nothing negative to say about their work professionally it's insulting that they pick and choose how much they charge for a simple blowout. Mind you my hair is not very long or full and easy to blow dry and most of the time I go during the week when there are hardly any customers at the salon. It's like a they decide how much to charge based on their mood that day... sometimes they charge $65 sometimes they charge $85!! Recently Rozali has been telling the front desk girls to charge $85. Again this is a SIMPLE BLOWDRY on shoulder length hair! Absolutely no hot tools used. I would understand if this was a set price and listed that she's going to charge $85 but it's deceptive business practice to list a price range and keep charging the max rate for something so simple! I just don't understand how you can charge the same customer $65 then $85 the following week for the same exact service on the same exact day of the week. (Mid week and in the morning when you hardly have customers!). Well Rozali, you just lost a loyal customer for trying to up-charge. Keep wasting your mornings doing nothing in between the few customers you have. I came weekly and now I'll take my business elsewhere. read more

I came early on a Saturday and the place was already buzzing with makeup and blowdry appointments. There's also a nail station. Only me and one other person came for a haircut. Book your appointment online - that seems to be the easiest way. You may also be able to call them. Considering how busy they are, though, make sure you plan in advance. You can pay by card or Zelle - you're really in and out with ease here. Service is so efficient and personable, love love love it here. Parking is in the area just behind the salon. They replaced Ortho (the larger store is still next door) and very centrally located in the Glendale area. Highly recommend Lilit. I will absolutely be back! read more

I had an apt for 7am for a blow out for my baby shower today. I was very excited. Arrived right before 7 and waited, and waited. Was not acknowledged by anyone until their receptionist got there around 7:15, which mind you, She didn't even look at me, I walked up to the front desk and asked who would be seeing me? She made any adjustments I requested to my liking and my makeup turned out beautiful at the end! I felt pretty and confident. This was my first time at Glo LA and it is definitely not going to be the last. I had a haircut appointment with Lilit Grigoryan and she went above and beyond my expectations. She took the time to talk to me and get an understanding of what I wanted and from there the magic began. As she was cutting my hair, she gave me advice on products to use to maintain healthy hair. The one thing I loved the most was how she took her time to make sure each section came out perfect and even dried my hair to show me the results. I typically avoid writing negative reviews, but in this case, I feel it is necessary for others to be aware of my experience. On 4/27, I had my makeup done by Ani, I told her I usually do my makeup on my own but I wanted to get it done for my engagement photos that were being done later. Despite her sweet demeanor, I had clearly communicated my desire for a bright under eye, blush, and bronzy makeup look, even providing reference photos. Unfortunately, the end result was not at all what I had requested. Throughout the appointment, it was evident that Ani was ill-prepared, as she had to borrow makeup from other artists and did not have a well-stocked station. Despite my repeated requests for adjustments, the makeup looked like nothing I had asked for and it was missing everything I wanted. At the end of the service, my face was not properly set, resulting in significant flashback in the video she took of me. That was even more upsetting since she knew I would be getting photos taken. Ultimately, the experience was a disappointment and a waste of both time and money. While Ani attempted to rectify the situation, I rushed home to remove my makeup. What a complete waste of $170 for a application that I hated. I would caution others to reconsider booking a makeup appointment here. read more
